  1. Of course it is. Why would Fiverr let you do something that would mean you could take your business off Fiverr? You know I know that? I read the ToS. Try that. You had to declare that you understood the ToS when you signed up to Fiverr. So you lied when you said you did.
  2. Cryptocurrency is way too volatile and worth it to harm to risk taking. Also, the transaction fees for it can be pretty high. It’s a lot cheaper to just pay by PayPal or Stripe. Exactly. And, as you say, eventually people can just put their Bitcoin or whatever into their PayPal and then pay with PayPal if it’s that important to them.
  3. This buyer has a problem. you leave it. this is better for you. No idea what you are trying to say or why you are responding over a year later, but okay.
  4. This is totally untrue and does nothing to make sales. Do not parrot nonsense in the forum. It won’t help you get sales. Don’t give advice on things you don’t understand.
  5. That is not a good investment of your time. Look up how many logo sellers there are here. There are many, many, many more people selling logos than buying them. This means sales are unlikely regardless of skill. Don’t think skills can cancel out the impact of competition. They can’t. Spend your time on learning sales principles. That is what will help you make gigs that can make sales.
  6. This doesn’t get sales. Sharing your gig link is not marketing. Please don’t perpetuate this myth. This is why people spam and why Fiverr spammers give us all a bad name. Social media could potentially help with sales if you’re an expert at social media marketing and sharing insights, not posting your gig everywhere. I don’t understand why people give advice on things they don’t understand and parrot things hundreds of people have already said.
  7. Personally I found it not worthwhile to purchase things to use for Fiverr gigs. It’s so risky because you can’t know if you’ll even break even on a purchase for it, let alone profit!
  8. It’s so annoying that things that buyers do wrong affect our ratings and ranking.
  9. Exactly it looks like an analytics bug across both promoted and unpromoted gigs.
  10. Of course, but then again, even the worst ad would get a few impressions. I’ve been using this on multiple gigs and none got even a single impression. So… clearly if you’re removed from search for some reason, this will not help you in any way. Unless there is an analytics bug and you are in fact getting impressions, but not views and clicks.
  11. I think it would depend on what you’re targeting in the ad, though. It’s like Facebook Ads. If your targeting strategy is wrong or your competition high and it’s hard to stand out, the ad won’t succeed. Creating a targeted, high converting ad I’d quite a skill.
  12. It wouldn’t have shown late delivery/been late if you’d delivered it by the delivery button. The buyer doesn’t need to approve it within any time frame if you have actually delivered it. And it will auto complete in 3 days if he doesn’t. The reason the buyer is unable to accept it because you didn’t actually deliver it, you just sent it as a message. Sending it as a message is not a delivery. Why not actually learn how things work before you sign up for and use a service?
  13. It is not going to change. What I noticed and it seems to work, I offer client a 5$ or 10$ sample. He pays me for my time and works to produce a sample. If he likes the sample then we switch to the mayor order. If he doesn’t like the sample have a nice day. I got paid for what I did. Make the basic gig package a sample. I love this solution. Sorry that Fiverr handled it this way, @angiesvoice_vo. It really is appalling and another reason I don’t care about levels and don’t do projects that take a long time unless I know the seller and really trust them (and my definition of a long time on a Fiverr gig is a few hours or so).
  14. That page clearly states that all ratings must be 90% to retain your rating or be promoted. If it was only 2 of 3 ratings required it would say that.
  15. A gig is a contract and contracts can’t work unless the scope tells the buyer specifically what the contract includes. You can’t leave it up for interpretation and it would work against you if you did – because people could ask for the moon and claim to Fiverr that you owe it to them. Research scope of a contract.
  16. Your problem is that you think you get jobs by sending a template response about yourself. That’s not how it works. You win BRs by demonstrating you understand what the client has asked for. It’s about the client, not you.
  17. Do you have an issue understanding English? I just explained why Fiverr wouldn’t allow you to do that. If they removed your gig it’s because they don’t want you doing that service. So why would they let you do the orders you had open for it?
  18. You’re talking about two different things: Orders that are completed for which the money is pending clearance. And orders that are in your queue that you haven’t completed.
  19. So it’s okay to breach ToS if you haven’t read them? No. Read the ToS. When did I say you won’t get your money for orders in pending clearance? I only said you can’t do existing orders in your queue you haven’t completed.
  20. “This gig breaches our ToS, but sure you can do these orders for it.” Does that makes sense to you? If you break the rules of a card game, do you get to finish playing that hand? No. You’re out and gone. Why would Fiverr let you do work that breaches their ToS? Think about it.
  21. I’m super late in responding to this, but it deserves an applause. Being honest could save other sellers a lot of grief. Let’s look out for each other (by being honest, of course, and focusing on facts).
  22. If sellers can predict and answer questions buyers have that aren’t about specific projects they can put them in their gig description and scope. When people message they expect a live person and they generally have a question specific to their particular project and need, like to assess suitability. In any case, if a buyer wants something now and they’re taking the time to review a gig that isn’t even available when they need it, that’s a waste of their time. If a buyer is looking for something now, it’s not so they can order it three months from now when you come back.
  23. No buyer wants an automated message. If they message you it’s because they want to talk to you live. They aren’t going to wait for you to come back to buy the service. If you aren’t available to fulfill a service, you shouldn’t waste buyers’ time letting them consider you and reach out to you for something you aren’t able to do when they ask for it. It’s selfish and rude. Think about what buyers want and need, not about what you do. No one who messages a seller wants to get a response from a bot.
  24. This is so annoying! I’ve noticed gig extras can’t be rearranged either. I’ve never dealt with fields that can’t be rearranged in any other platform. It’s truly bizarre.
