  1. This is what Kesha said: So the "more significant impact" basically could mean they are weighting each gig's success score based on the number of orders each has had (within the time frame they're basing it on). edit: What if it's a new seller (ie. who had no previous orders) and a new gig and only 1 buyer who rated the gig, who might give a high public rating but in their private rating gig a low rating for everything? Won't the public stats of that seller and gig then show a lower rating, with people (especially the seller) assuming it was that buyer (the seller's only buyer) did that low rating?
  2. In the first post it says: So if the seller's profile is showing a lower public rating than before it could be because the new calc is now calculating it using stats from private ratings, and maybe also basing it on the last 2 years only.
  3. For that one you'd need to install Python first - if using Windows anyway (and which version might depend on what things are being included)
  4. Maybe there's an AI that could help count them or a script used? This is what perplexity.ai suggests for a Python script: Also from Perlpexity.ai: So maybe if someone often gets people asking for translating all the pages on a website (or a list of urls) then that (if it works, or something similar) might be able to give a rough idea of how many words there were in total.
  5. eg. If I privately rate a new seller with a new gig 1 star and leave a public review (and I'm the seller's only buyer at that point or only buyer for that gig), then their rating for that gig/profile is very low, the seller will know I gave a very low private rating and the public would guess that it was me that left the low rating that was given. I've never left a low rating though - I'm just saying it would seem obvious if there aren't enough other ratings for the seller/gig to disguise who gave what private rating (yes including value for money if that's one of the things) but the original post said: so that makes it sound like it could take into account other private ratings too, in the public rating score (without the buyer's knowledge/permission).
  6. Also if private buyer ratings are now going to be part of the public rating score and shown to everyone, what if there was only one buyer for that gig/seller? That rating (that they intended to be private) will now be public (except for not having their name against the private one, but people can probably guess which buyer (and the seller will know) if they are the only buyer to leave a public review too or that gig). So the sellers will likely know the private ratings of the first buyers of their gigs (without the buyer's permission).
  7. Isn't that going against what you told the buyers at the time they were rating. eg. doesn't/didn't the rating screen say to them it's a private rating only - so isn't it now going to be against what they had agreed at the time they rated. eg. if you said "this will be a private rating" and then it's made into a public rating/public rating score isn't that against some agreement that was in place at the time? Shouldn't you only do with the ratings that were given what you said at the time they were being given by the buyer?
  8. The minimum Fiverr could do really is allow sellers to set up more specific auto responses, so in your auto response you could set up different ones for different gigs (if they'd clicked to inbox from a specific gig). Or it could take into account the text in the message and other things. For more AI stuff Fiverr should have an official policy on that stuff (more specific than what's mentioned in their community standards). If it worked by loading the Fiverr pages they probably wouldn't allow it but if it worked by checking your personal email (not Fiverr inbox) and recommending what you could do it should be okay - eg. if it got the notifications from Fiverr by email (though you're probably right that it should inform them if an AI created the text of the reply - which you could paste in). edit: though if it was a user pasted AI generated message that included something like "written by AI" it would likely look bad. Maybe if it was an auto response that Fiverr allowed to check their site it would be okay (eg "this was an auto response" or also that it was AI generated). There's been youtube videos about AI agents before. I think there's free/open source ones. Though I think they also used ChatGPT for part of them (not sure if all - using Open AI API maybe) but if it did use ChatGPT it would probably cost.

    I need help

It's not a metric used in the evaluation for levels but it's something that's measured/recorded (a performance metric) and shown to sellers & buyers which influences their decisions to contact a seller (and/or buy from them, since they'd be less likely to contact a seller with a very high avg response time), so it could affect messages+orders even if it doesn't directly affect search rank (though we don't know whether response time is one of the many things that could affect search rank as they don't don't specify them, but since it's one of the recorded values shown on dashboards and profiles it's possible it could have an effect on their search rank, eg. if their search ranking system/AI found a connection between response times and how likely a person was to order/message (conversions) the seller/gig) and so lowered it if it thought it was less likely to get conversions/orders.

    I need help

Though isn't it true that sellers with higher average response times (ie. more than 3 hours) get less orders on average? It seems to be the case and I'm getting less messages and so less orders and one of the reasons (apart from some issue with deliveries due to type type of order) is the high response time of 5 hours (due to Fiverr not sending notifications of messages to me). It seems to be an important metric or Fiverr wouldn't be tracking it and displaying it to everyone. Ideally Fiverr wouldn't count the response time of mine that was caused by the error with their notification system but they haven't stopped it showing the response time caused mostly by their system error. Though the CTO of Fiverr also said that the system ranked higher gigs where people were active and online (though that doesn't mean people should fake being online and things might have changed since he said that, and I agree it's not the most important thing). edit: maybe Fiverr could show some stats on the forum or Fiverr blog or somewhere showing what affect a seller being active on the site (and response times) does have on average on orders/messages to give sellers a rough idea (about how much it might or might not help).
  11. I lost it quite a few days ago (probably more than a week ago). I'm not sure if it's because I logged out & back in/deleted cookies because CS told me to because of the notification problems or it it was before that. There's the new (AI) Virtual Assistant that one person has (but not me yet).: maybe people who are sellers too will get that at some time.
  12. Scraping by itself isn't against the Fiverr TOS (unless it's against the TOS of a site that you'd do it on or against some other rule) Fiverr has a subcategory of Data->Data Scraping. So they've added a specific subcategory for it. But as was said above, in their community standards (https://www.fiverr.com/community/standards/prohibited-services) it's the scraping of social media accounts (or of personal info of individuals) that isn't allowed.
  13. There's no specified limit as far as I know. In one seller's gig there's 412 orders in the queue. There might be higher ones.
  14. Surely Fiverr could add code to detect a URL being placed in a message or post that contains "fiverr." (or something similar) but that goes to a website that isn't Fiverr and automatically flag the message to help prevent future links of that type being sent to users.
  15. Isn't working on Fiverr, logged into your Fiverr acount on free wifi anywhere a security risk?
  16. He says he can make "effective and attractive designs" in those 3 apps, which could be the case. That doesn't mean that training to become even better at them wouldn't be possible. To the OP, Fiverr has courses on some of those apps I think: https://learn.fiverr.com/collections/graphic-design
  17. See: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/9596156809105-How-to-report-content-or-behavior-on-Fiverr It should say there (about reporting) that in the message system if you hover your mouse over the users's message you'll see 3 dots on the top right. Clicking that will give the menu with the report option. Or the help system in general: https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/
  18. It's probably because AI is in more and more apps and maybe Fiverr wants it used (though not overused). eg. thousands of sellers might use Grammarly to check/reword content. Grammarly say their system uses AI. Their blog says: So should all sellers that use Grammarly mention it and mention that it uses (a type of) AI? They also say they use "generative AI" (which chatGPT also uses). AI is also getting added to Adobe's products. Though Fiverr should still require sellers to say what's used/might be in case so the buyer's know (eg. in case there are copyright reasons/risks, eg. that the output created through just prompts can't be copyrighted, and in case the company who did the training might not have had the full rights). Though maybe when they created their AI categories it was obvious for gigs in there that it would be used and they specify the apps used in those generally (eg. the image generation ones).
  19. You could still talk to CS about it in case they do report your account and so they know what is happening/what could happen. Let them know who is doing it. Isn't there someone in your office (boss/other superiors) that you can talk to about this to tell them what is happening? If they're threatening and saying you have to give half your earnings to them (and being serious about it) maybe you could speak to the police or some other advice place about it if there's no boss that you can speak to. Hopefully Fiverr staff can advise you.
  20. Like was suggested you could create a support ticket about it (with attachments showing what they wrote). If you go to the top of any message from someone in the inbox (you could see if it's there on the order page too) it shows 3 dots on the right. Click those and it should have a "report" option. So you could report the individual messages. But if there's multiple of them it's probably best to create the support ticket.
  21. On the analytics page it displays "Inbox response time" as a percentage (where it says below "Respond to 90% of the inquiries you received in the last 60 days"), but that is actually the inbox response rate not "time". If Fiverr wants to show the inbox response rate (%) there, it should say "Inbox response rate" there (not "time"), to be consistent with what it shows on the dashboard.
  22. profiles don't show on the gig search results, but your gig does show if you search for the title and then filter by your country. Without that filter it might be in any of the 2500+ search results as there are lots of gigs with a similar title. If there are 2500+ results, without filtering them it will only show about 960 results (48 per page*20 pages - or a bit more if it shows about 4 more on the 1st page), so that isn't enough to show all 2500 results. Also be careful about: All orders have to be for normal reasons, not for boosting your profile. Also his review doesn't really mention about the service he purchased from you on Fiverr (it's more about him being a client of yours before Fiverr). He also gave a 4.7 star rating which is lower than every average rating I see on the first page of that subcategory.
  23. The title says "2024" but the post says "2023-2024" and you're saying skill (not categories) but skills are what people put on their profile on Fiverr. But we have no real way of knowing exactly. But in Fiverr's Q3 2023 shareholder letter they said: In Fiverr's Q2 2023 shareholder letter they said: In Fiverr's Q1 2023 shareholder letter they said:
  24. All gigs seem to have their prices stored in USD (eg. if you notice none of them will show a price that isn't a whole number of USD which has to be divisible by 5). You can view prices in other currencies in some screens but when creating the gig it only lets you enter them in USD as far as I know. It's just how the site is set up.
  25. Did you rate them? If you don't rate them (there should be an option for it at the bottom of the order page if they've reviewed) then it won't show their review on your account for around 10 days. See:https://help.fiverr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049982353-Reviews-and-ratings
