  1. I am just looking out for some greater help that how could I improve and get my sales back. I have applied all the ways mentioned on forum but still get no sales since 6 months. I dropped my prices, changed images, change description , changed title .

As I said earlier, if someone knew the recipe for sticking to the first page months on end, would they share it? Would you say to me what you did so I can get more sales? Obviously not, because this is a competitive marketplace.

What I recommend you to do is to study the market. See what best selling gigs have, how you can improve and what you can provide. Deliver something different when compared to your competitors.

Kudos, Donnovan! :clap:t4: and dedication for any business to thrive.

@humanissocial Right, Fiverr gave us a platform to sell our services, no startup fees, etc. It’s up to each of us to decide how far we want to take it.

  2. As far I have seen fiverr is now promoting new sellers and boosting their sales and they get sales in the first few months after they register . Whereas old seller are getting on the last page . I had no orders since 5-6 months. I have great knowledge of SEO and know how to rank fiverr gigs but still its on last page and my impressions dropped from 4-5k to 300-400 and I don’t get an single click on my gigs. I even dropped my prices a lot but didn’t got any result and had implemented all of the instructions and tips available at fiverr forum.

Your views on it ? And Need Your Help on this ! , thanks

    Um,

…And what seems to be the problem? Fiverr can do whatever they want, it’s their platform, their business model. If they want to give new sellers a push, I don’t see anything wrong with that. We were all new at one point. 🍍

  3. My messages is being reviewed by Fiverr for 24 hours. If I violated Fiverrs ToS, will I get warned by Fiverr or get suspended instead?

    Thank you

Follow the rules like everyone else and you’ll be ok. 🍍

  4. Hi Nate, welcome to the game! It’s a good place to challenge your mind a little and have some fun. 🙂

    ✈️

Is the answer Planes, Trains and Automobiles?

(By the way, I hope you didn’t throw away the rental agreement for those cars. Otherwise, you’re… well, you know the quote!)

    Ugh! You’re really good. 😁

I’ll be back to see what Bubbles comes up with.

  5. Well, should be $25 with the code, and it says

“All proceeds will be donated to Feed The Front Lines NYC”,

“all proceeds” would include the entry fees, or?

If so, you can donate (and probably deduct it from your income tax as donation or advertising costs), and at the same time get a chance to win an award, might be interesting for some people. If I was a New Yorker and/or in the relevant niche, I’d probably consider it; if I didn’t win, it would still be a donation and no big loss. If perhaps mostly sellers from NYC (because of the donatee) and only those who want to pay/donate (?) the entry fee take part, chances of winning might not even be so bad.

I’d agree that the wording is a bit off, “competition honoring …” doesn’t really sound like something you need to pay to take part in, maybe that should be made clear right away, and not just in the end through the “1/2 off code for entries”, by calling it “charity competition” or something (but I’d call your wording a bit off too, so I may not be a good meter, to me maybe most wording seems off ;)).

About the future, my prediction is that like 90-100% of the people who only comment because they think it gives them some magical boost, won’t click the link anyway, as they usually don’t read the posts they comment on, so I don’t think there will be many realizations and "Eek, the water is cold!"s.

However, good luck to any forum participants who don’t mind cold showers and will enter the competition!

  6. The Bowery Awards is a new competition honoring independent creativity in design, audio, motion video, and short film. As a leading marketplace for freelance talent, Fiverr is thrilled to collaborate with NYF-Advertising-Awards to help celebrate independent creatives around the world.

Today we are excited to be launching a new category for entry, exclusively for commercial work #madeonfiverr. Our own VP of Brand Marketing and Digital Duncan Bird will be joining the executive jury. Visit https://fvrr.co/3kCvpqN to see Duncan’s interview with Executive Jury President, David Sable and learn more about how to enter.

All proceeds from The Bowery Awards will be donated to Feed the Frontlines NYC, a charity donating meals to frontline healthcare workers in NYC.

  7. I had a project with one of my clients. We finalize the order on writing the code only but he was a student so as a good gesture from my side I sent him the code as well as schematic design. I sent him full simulation of how the code and the circuit will work together. He was final year student so he should know on how to run these things. Still, I sent him the step by step process on how to open and run these simulations but he still was unable to do it. Then, I told him to watch a youtube video that will help. Later on, I saw he raised the dispute and withdraw resolution after 10 minutes. Now, He is not accepting the order although I delivered more than he asked. What will happen if he gives me a negative review now? I am new here and that will ruin my career.

Initially, He was offering 40$ but I told him that it’s a small task and 30$ would be enough.

What will happen if he gives me a negative review now? I am new here and that will ruin my career.

Listen it wouldn’t be the end of the world. When you’re in business you’re bound to get a negative feedback from a buyer. Just keep pushing forward, I encourage Sellers to stop selling themselves short by accepting peanuts. Know your worth, don’t allow Buyers to dictate how you should run your business, never fear Buyers. This is your Business, take the wheel. 🍍

  8. Hi everyone,

My name is ed. I’m a new seller on Fiverr.

How These 3 People Make 6 Figures A Year On Fiverr

On gig site Fiverr, people offer to do discrete projects for $5 apiece and up. But that hasn't stopped several from raking in as much as $50,000 a month -- after Fiverr's 20% cut. Here's how.

I need ‘the money’ to buy a house for my parents, supporting my self & my own game app ( my secret project ).

    It’s cool to set goals.

My goal is to buy a camel. 🐪

  9. It is happened when maintenance work is going on then i refreshed tab

There’s nothing you can do now. :woman_shrugging:t4: You can ask CS permission to open a new account. Next time follow the TOS.

after I refreshed the tab, an automatic buyer request was sent from my profile, which I did not send.

Huh?! 🥴Um, Fiverr would not disable accounts without solid proof.

  10. I would probe for more details. Ask the Buyer to be more specific, the vagueness doesn’t help. Try your best to save this $50 order. In business there’s a first for everything, I know you’re accustomed to everyone liking your work or not asking for too many revisions. Some Buyers like to nitpick… Focus on what she’s asking and try your best to revise the illustration. Let us know how it turns out!

  11. Well, since I haven’t been on the forum in a LONG time except to occasionally help mod, why not the COVID thread? Hello all. I’m doing okay. Hope everyone out there is as well as possible and staying safe!

OMG, am I seeing things? 👀 Is this really you… 😲 It’s so nice to see you, Maddie. ♥️ I’ve been wondering how you are doing and if I’ll ever see you around again. I’m doing OK, so much has happened since we’ve last spoken. I hope you, your partner and everyone is doing fine.

    Missed you, Lady! 🌹
