  1. The buyer request is the best option OR you could direct any new client you get to render your service through fiverr.
  2. Hello Family, how's everyone doing?

So I've been noticing some kind of unique changes to some seller accounts, especially the portfolio section. A first, I thought it was unique only to the PRO sellers but I found out that it isn't. It's mostly seen with the LEVEL 2 Sellers accounts. I'm a level 2 seller as well and I noticed I can't seem to find my way around that feature.

Here is a screenshot of what I mean👇👇. I know of the one you upload to your gig slide but this looks better but I don't know how to go about it. Can somebody show me how it's done, Level 2 Sellers precisely since I find it mostly on their accounts?

NB: So sorry @volunteerthat I had to use your profile as the sample reference😊🙏

  4. So happy for you. Keep up the good work. The sky is your limit.
  5. @codersheikhAs a new seller, it's always advisable to create up to 4 - 7 gigs. Fiverr gives new sellers a maximum of 7 gigs to use. So you could try to use 4 for a start or the whole 7. The more the merrier. Also, it's always quite a challenge to rank as a new seller, but the most effective way you could do this is by using the buyer request option and bid for jobs regularly. Also download the fiverr app, so it helps keep you online. Most buyers like quick response, so even though a higher seller might be good as you, they might pick you over them as long as you're available to respond to them and answer their questions. These were the things i did when i first started and it was how i started to rank. So, i'm pretty sure they might be helpful to you too.
  6. Search for a keyword. After the page has been loaded, check for other suggested keywords. Use those in your title and other needed parts of your gig. E.g Title, tags, etc. This could help also.
  7. Wow really? Didn't see it that way. Because most of my clients i get are from my friends who offer my service. They know i offer graphic design services, so they reach out to me. Also, people only order from people they know most of the time, not a total stranger. Which is why people on fiverr message you because they believe, since you're on fiverr,....they know they stand a chance of getting good services and value for their money because of the trust they have of Fiverr. So, i don't know what other way clients can come to you, if fiverr hasn't gotten you any for the meantime, you've ran social media ads and for a while no one had been forthcoming. The next option is for people or friends who know you to purchase your service. You're not forcing them. They require your service but the only thing is to bring them into fiverr and offer it there. I think that's definitely a win for Fiverr. All i said was rather than order it outside, they should order it through here. But all the same, i get the point of what you're trying to say. Thanks @catwriter🙏 & also thank you @positivezahid
  8. Yeah, you can start by using the buyer request section to bid for jobs. I'll advice you also download the fiverr app, so it will help increase your chances in responding to messages timely. Fiverr also considers sellers that respond rapidly. So make sure you download the app. You can bid for jobs through the app and through the website. Whatever can keep you active on the go. As a new seller, this can be your greatest asset to land jobs on a regular.
  9. @abdussalam_devYou're welcome
  10. It's a good sign for you that your gig would soon be ordered. Try crosschecking your gig description to see if it's enticing enough. It's probably why they haven't ordered yet. Hope this was helpful?😇
  11. @catwriterI said they should PLEASE ORDER MY SERVICE "THROUGH FIVERR", not outside Fiverr. How's that a violation, or am i missing something☹️? I brought my client into fiverr. That for me is more like a win for Fiverr. Because they'll definitely come here and see that i'm charging way lower than what i charge outside, and if you think of it, it's for certain that they might never want to work with me at my premium rate, and would definitely come through Fiverr. So who's at loss here, me or Fiverr? Because i believe i'm offering that same service here on fiverr, at a way discounted rate, something that can't fetch me a day's meal here in my country here, because few days ago, a community member sent a write up on how you can start getting orders and one of them was to "reduce your rate, because it was probably way to high". So i probably might not be understanding the whole scenario properly. Kindly refer to the response i gave to @newsmike. And like i said some days back, i can't still re-apply for the position of PROSELLER here on fiverr. Last time i did was August 2020. I hope you get the point of where i'm coming from? Thanks
  12. @newsmikeIt wasn't a fake order. I charge way higher outside fiverr. I run a private branding business where i charge premium, which was why i was aiming to enroll as a PRO SELLER here on fiverr. Not everyone here is out to be offering cheap services for something they charge way more outside because, referring a customer to fiverr is actually helping them also. I don't see the offence there. If you check my business page on IG, i'm sure you'll definitely agree that the level of jobs there weren't done for $5 or $10. Please, don't get me wrong.
  13. First step: Show that you've read their request by repeating what they said they wanted or include anything they asked you to include in the request to show if you,ve really read it. Second step: Let them know you can help them solve their problem and that you've handled a similar job, almost like theirs in the past. Attach a link to the sample or jobs you did similar to theirs and how you solved it. Third step: State how you'll approach solving the problems to the project. Fourth step: Ask any leading question that will make them send you a DM or message you. (E.g, i noticed you said you needed two options, would you want them in a landscape format or a portrait format? This would show you're an expert and you really want to help them, and are not just after their money. Fifth step: Then leave a CTA(call to action). You could say: I look forward to hearing from you soon OR kndly send me a DM so we can discuss more about what other things i think you'll be needing for so....so....... This is how i go about mine anyways. I hope this helps.😇
  14. Thanks @lloydsolutions for sending this but considering the level of work i put into this and hours, i'm afraid i can't lower my prices. I'm working to be able to sustain myself. Not doing so, so as to start feeding from hand to mouth. God knows i've tried lowering my gigs but for how long. One of my past clients came back after 3 years and said he wanted a 3D architectural model rendering project i did for him for $5 when i was quite desperate at making a trusted name on Fiverr. The same dude came recently and said he wanted another bigger residential building design and rendering for that same $5. Like....come on. Even after thanking him for remembering me and trying to explain to him, he didn't listen he just left and said he can't pay that. So permit me if i say lowering one's prices doesn't favor all countries. Maybe some. I know i offer way more value and professional service than most sellers here on fiverr. I even have a professional online portfolio to back that claim. I'm not trying to brag. But most of the times, you get some of those high paying clients ONLY when you bid for a job through buyer's request, which is a 50/50 win, except for now, it's more like they don't even look at my side since i clocked the level 2 rank. Talking about lowering prices, it's not that i don't still offer $5 service,...I still do. Even those also, have stopped getting requests, and no....it's not because i don't tweak them. I guess probably Fiverr isn't more about quality, It's more about who offers it cheaper, or maybe not for the pro sellers anyways, which is why i've been trying to apply for it a second time, but to no avail. I can't find the application button any longer on my account. Because i've seen some gigs having repeat buyers and when i go through the type of service they give out, majority don't tally with the gig images they display, which makes me wonder if Fiverr is actually thorough about finding out people that are actually lifting jobs to post as theirs. No offences but i'll be needing more conviction, that's if there is any anyways. But still, thanks for your suggestion
