  1. Hi Fiverr Community Members! Today we announced the 2023 Future Collective Cohort. This program was created to support Black entrepreneurs in maximizing their opportunities for growth by providing $24,000 in funding to each business as well as mentorship and other resources. We are so excited that in the program’s second year we’ve been able to double the cohort size from five to ten businesses. This selection process was not an easy one. We were blown away to receive nearly 4,000 applications to the program this year! After months of review, we selected the following ten businesses: Bailan - A purpose-driven food company that helps people create delicious meals and live healthier with foods that capture the rich flavors of Africa. Femigist - A purpose-driven feminine care brand that provides plant-powered menstrual management and feminine wellness products along with educational resources and supportive community. Flora and Noor - A skincare brand designed for those with melanin-rich skin and chronic skin conditions, offering halal certified, sustainable products. Look Good Live Well - A beauty-focused wellness brand offering clean, adaptogen-fueled products designed to heal and hydrate stressed-out skin. PPGJ Books - A publishing house and social enterprise that publishes, promotes, and distributes books that empower Black children to find joy in reading. Tiny Docs - An education platform providing an interactive experience designed to empower kids with age-appropriate information about various health-related issues without complex medical details and terminologies. Under Her Empire - A conscious, creative community and production house on a mission to decentralize media and entertainment by allowing consumers and brands to make socially impactful investments in the creators they love. Unoma Haus - A PropTech company creating a more sustainable and equitable future for housing and community building through two main verticals: modular homes and van conversions. Vontelle - An eyewear brand offering better-fitting vibrant, luxury frames in sizes that complement diverse faces; handcrafted to empower humanity to see the world through a cultural and global lens. Wasabi + Well - A wellness company founded to help Black women feel seen, heard, and healed through therapy, community, and courses. We’re so excited that these founders have been using Fiverr to grow their businesses for an average of 5 years and span 6 distinct industries. To learn more about the Future Collective, visit our landing page here! Hank Washington is a Mississippi-raised creative and operator of Hank Designs Studio. For this campaign, he drew inspiration from the unique way gems interact with light, paralleling how these Black business owners will shine for their respective communities in different ways.

  7. At Fiverr, we’re continually listening to feedback from members of our community. One of the frustrations for buyers has been when an order automatically completes before they’ve had a chance to review their delivery. As a seller, you might have seen revision requests that are not for actual revisions, but just asking for more time to review deliveries. We’ve learned that these requests are often due to weekends, the need for approval from co-workers, or…just busy schedules. To help ease this frustration, we’re running a test to allow buyers to request more time to review their order before it automatically completes. Of course, we want to ensure a win-win situation for both buyers and sellers, so we will only roll out this feature after closely monitoring the implications of this test: he number of orders completed, cancellations, disputes, tickets with Customer Service, and other quality metrics.
  8. Thanks for the feedback about Firefox vs other browsers. I'll look into it.

  17. We're continuing to celebrate our Fiverr Community of Womxn! Ali is a freelancer who has been with Fiverr for just over a year— Happy 1 year anniversary! Ali is a creator in many ways, specializing in professional documentarian, business writing, and graphic design, innovations in writing, and formatting. We're excited to share how she #breaksthebias below. And check out Ali's Fiverr profile here. Hi, I'm Ali @sanaaliabbasi, and this is how I #breakthebias. It's about the journey of 8 years. When I first started, I had nothing — no computer, no phone and no money, but my dreams were always big and getting bigger. Somehow, I managed a to get a laptop and tried to work from home. Everyone tried to stop me, mocked me, and said that there is no real virtual or e-commerce to earn money from home. But I never stopped and kept trying! Eventually, I found Fiverr, and now I am working hard to prove myself. I earn small amount, but I am satisfied that it's my own earning.
  18. Thank you @mjaninea, I have taken that conversation offline with @yodich.
  19. Hi everyone. I appreciate your opinions and feedback. I will relay these messages along. I want to remind everyone that I understand this is an emotional time with a lot of information changing quickly. If you choose to participate in conversations here in the forum, please follow to the Community Standards & Forum Rules. This included personal attacks and racist or nationalistic remarks (including country). Violations of these rules could result in a 24 hour ban on posting, or removal from the forum all-together. I would love this to be a place for everyone to continue to discuss opinions.
  20. We know that this is an incredibly tense situation, driving lots of emotions for many of our community members. It is terrible to see people being dragged into unnecessary violence and we hear your concerns. Some of your questions have been answered by the community, and I will try to address them here. 1. The location to each account on Fiverr is set by the system and is based on your current geographical location. The location updates periodically. If you are located in a different place, please contact support and they will work with our Trust & Safety team to review your account accordingly. 2. We’re offering our Russian sellers access to the Early Payout feature and waiving the standard safety clearance period. At this time, it seems that Payoneer is still offering services to Russia via the “Local Bank Transfer” option. 3. "You will be able to complete any open orders, but you will not be able to gain new orders or communicate outside of the order page." Funds will be available as usual (Payoneer is still working as of today). We hope that there will be a peaceful end to the war in Ukraine soon at which point we will look towards reinstating our business in Russia.
  21. From the Fiverr Blog. A message from CEO Micha Kaufman: Our hearts break for the people of Ukraine and we join the world in grieving for the lives lost and destroyed due to the senseless and unjustifiable violence. We also mourn with our global community of freelancers and business owners, who work daily across borders, languages, and cultures to create opportunity. They know that any conflict that divides like-minded and good people into “us vs. them” represents a loss for all of humanity and is contrary to everything the Fiverr community stands for. That said, the devastation in Ukraine requires action and has triggered global economic sanctions aimed at ending the conflict. In light of the ongoing situation, Fiverr is suspending its business in Russia starting today. We will not allow the opening of new accounts or the use of existing accounts to buy or sell on our platform. We are, however, allowing our Russian freelancers to withdraw their current earnings to ensure we have fulfilled our obligations to them. Going forward, Fiverr will continue to prioritize efforts to support our Ukrainian community. Today we launched a dedicated store featuring talented Ukrainian freelancers who are ready and able to work. Fiverr will donate our fees from this store to the Ukrainian Red Cross who are providing first aid, clothes, food, medications, and clean water in the region. We’ve also made the decision to return all fees collected in the past few weeks to our Ukrainian freelancers as a way to offer additional financial support. We will continue to look for ways to support our Ukrainian community, as well as all victims of the war. Of course, nobody can say when the war will end, but please know that Fiverr continues to work with urgency and compassion to find ways to help our community. As we do, we welcome your ideas and participation. Micha
  22. Happy International Women's Day! We're continuing to celebrate our Fiverr Community, and especially today, highlighting someone who has transformed herself through the power of yoga! Based in India, Ruprekha is a seasoned Fiverr freelancer who specializes in 3d animation, modeling, and design. We're excited to share how she #breaksthebias below. Check out Ruprekha's Fiverr profile here. "Hi, I'm @ruprekha, and this is how I #breakthebias. I've been working on Fiverr for more than 5 years now. As a full time freelancer working in front of a computer for extended periods of time, I acquired some back pain. Health comes first, and somewhere in the Fiverr Forum community, I saw a freelancer suggest fitness as a solution. That's when I joined yoga. And boom!!!! My lifestyle completely changed. I have now practiced yoga for 2 years, and it changed my life not just physically, but also mentally. I now have a proper schedule, and doing yoga everyday makes me more productive. I find that my products are getting better every day and clients are more satisfied. I love to treat myself, so I rewarded myself with a bicycle last weekend. Thank you Fiverr, you are making all my dreams come true. You are not just a platform but somewhere I feel that I found myself through this journey. I'm glad to be a part. Cheers!"
  23. We stand in solidarity with Ukraine and want to support Ukrainian freelancers on Fiverr who are able to and want to work during these extremely difficult times. Want to join the effort? Show your support for Ukraine by finding someone who can provide the services you’re looking for – then make sure they’re available and get great things done together. https://www.fiverr.com/stores/support-ukraine
  24. Words cannot express the sadness we feel for the people of Ukraine. Fiverr has employees in offices around the world, but one of our most beloved and vibrant teams worked in an office in Kyiv. That’s why, to us, this war is not a distant tragedy playing out on cable news and social media: it is a lump in our collective throats and a searing pain in our hearts that doesn’t go away. Fiverr is a family and our brothers and sisters are hurting. We stand in solidarity with Ukraine and all those impacted by this unprovoked attack. We also share in the outrage and frustration expressed by our global community—including many in Russia—but we also know that we are not powerless to help. And this simple truth gives us focus. Before the invasion began, we worked to ensure the safety of our team in Ukraine, including helping them evacuate and relocate if desired. Taking care of our Ukrainian staff remains one of our highest priorities. We’ve also looked for ways, big and small, to support Fiverr’s Ukrainian community. As part of this effort we have: Enabled early payout for Ukrainian sellers, offering them the opportunity to withdraw their earnings immediately by waiving the safety clearance period. Created a dedicated support team to help Ukrainian sellers with issues related to their accounts and work, and to provide anything else they need to navigate the uncertainty of the situation. Ensured Ukrainian sellers will not be demoted or otherwise negatively impacted for issues occurring during this horrendous time. Raised funds for World Central Kitchen, to help feed the nearly 1,000,000 people fleeing Ukraine to neighboring countries Started building a special Fiverr store featuring Ukrainian sellers who are ready and able to work Provided direct financial support to Ukrainian freelancers to help offset the cost of potential lost business. Nobody knows how this war will unfold or when it will end, but please know that we’ll continue to work with urgency and passion to find ways to help our community. As we do, we welcome your ideas, thoughts, and encouragement. Stay safe and strong, Brent Messenger VP, Public Policy & Community Engagement
