  1. Really hoping for that! Why is my view and clicks going up but NO ORDER!! 😐
  2. Hi guys~! I usually leave tips on the sellers tips section but today I am asking for some top sellers’ suggestions or great ideas since I am being impatient on this sales drop! I feel more competition on this net as a Korean translator~ because when I first started there were seriously like 3-5 translators. There are other sellers now pulling many more sales than me… 😦 When there are more sellers and your gig becomes no more authentic, what are the strategies do you implement to keep that gig going? How to survive from a high competition!!!?? Thanks! and Happy Fiverring~
  3. I find myself being impatient recently because of getting less sales than I used to - and I know why - because there are so many other related gigs - so much competition! I decided to try out some other gigs that I might be good at (video testimonials). Fiverr has great sales tools that help small business owners/freelancers to open their business(=gig) and it is super easy once you get the hang of it. My tip for you is to start looking for other gigs that you might be good at doing that you never knew - when I first signed up for Fiverr - my first gig was not actually the one I have as a best seller on my dashboard. Over the course of over a year and a half being on Fiverr - my self-esteem/self-confidence has gone up way higher than before finding out how many great ideas and skills I can offer people - you will find out what you are really good at that people indorse you for as well. Cheer up! and Happy Fiverring~
  4. Well, Fiverr is a global marketplace…English is one of the most popular language that people can communicate with but if everyone can understand what the writer means, it really doesn’t matter minor grammar mistakes in my opinion!
  5. Yes, definitely! It does show that you are honest and trustworthy - shows your seriousness in this business as well to the buyers. Not a lot of sellers in my gig catagory (actually none) had video posted. So it worked great for me.
  6. WAIT til they respond to you~ they are very quick and helpful at this point.
  7. Up to about a month ago, my sales were pretty decent. I would wake up seeing 2-3 sales in the morning. Now? it has slowed down and that is because Fiverr is growing and there are possibly more competition on this net. I am pretty much impatient when I don’t get my goal sales - so here is what I have tried. Look around other people’s gig and their offer. It sucks but if you want to survive - you will have to see what other people are offering in the same gig catagory yours is in - then figure out if you will offer the same or even more. Video, video, video. Since I uploaded a video - well I have tried in the past to upload a full video of myself in front of the camera(this is probably the best option) but I am still a bit nervous so I used my voice and some image to cover my video. The impression of my gig with the video went back up up to 2k in a week. Bargain, bargain, bargain. Sometimes you will have to do some extra work for less money. When your sales are down, please do not hesitate to give some discount if the possible buyers are trying to negotiate the pricing - of course, you need to use some intuition here that this buyer is worth it giving a great deal - I just gained about 3 new buyers who promised me that they will come back - we don’t know they will - but see next how you can. Implement the sales skill you saw on this forum. Remember to go watch 'utilityproof’s tutorial just on top of this page who is famous on here leaving us great tips - and one of his tips was using a feature where you can find under ‘Promote my gig’ customizing gig feature. - Once you create a customized gig for the specific buyer or group - you get a link to a special deal you created for them. whenever you deliver an order; you need to possibly have a sales mindset for yourself and the buyers and try to create an additional special offer that you can make for him! (If there isn’t, it is okay - but if you got an incredible idea, why not offer?)I tried this method and my success rate was 4 out of 5 and the buyer was very happy with the result as well! Just my thoughts~ Happy Fiverring guys~
  8. by the way - I checked out your gig - and I see that maybe it needs a bit of time and promoting of the gig - perhaps go back and ask your previous buyers if they need anything and offer them bargain deals!
  9. Thanks for the additional contribution. as far as Video - I must try this feature but my gig doesn’t really seem to need this feature. Any idea?
  10. I looked through your gig, perhaps you need to maybe provide a pdf/jpeg file of any previous work done to give more ideas for buyers. and without any review on your gig - it is hard for the buyers to go ahead and just buy a 150 dollar service. and try looking through Buyer Requests section and offer a bargain deal on related gigs.
  11. and it gets easier for the buyers to know Oh, this seller must be good at “specific topic(which what I am looking to purchase)”
  12. No.1 Entrepreneur mind set you must have is to know who your audience is. It gets easier if you know who your target audience is. i.e. Some of you asked me privately lately Q. Why is my gig not selling??? I looked up his gig and believe me I am not a great sales person either, I am learning and growing everyday myself - but I knew right away. His gig did not have a specific target audience. f.e. I will do creative writing. I would ask - what creative? how creative? I suggest it to be more like… “I will write you a business proposal.” “I will write your college essays.” “I will write creative blog postings.” Because when you know who to target - it gets easier for you how you should market your gig. Let’s not try to get 100 million views…when we are just level 1 or 2 sellers. We can start by impressing small, narrowed group first.
  13. I would say…research and look around what other sellers are offering. When I was a level 1 seller(i was a level 1 for more than 6 month) i tried to research what other sellers (level 2) are offering in their gigs. Perhaps, i.e. translate 250 words for 5 dollars. I followed the trend or offer a little more like 300 words. Did not offer it too cheap though because it is sales ethic for others. But definately follow the trend.
