  1. It shows up on the 4th spot for me on Chrome in Incognito mode. Dude just take it easy for a bit. Fiverr might not be doing their daily promotions or the algorithm may just be taking time to learn or whatever - we don’t have control over it. All you can do is continue doing the best you can - that’s what I’m trying for now. Give it a couple of days instead of freaking out about it on the forums.
  2. I get a few of those, but I also seem to be getting a lot of business buyers lately too. Do business buyers have a specific tag that I’m unaware of? Given the sheer effort you put into each of these posts, I’m just thankful you’re taking the time out of your already busy day to help everyone out. Fiverr decided to just randomly edit the subcategories in my category which has lead to more impressions and clicks but lower orders and messages for some reason. I’ll think about changing tags in a week or so depending on how things play out but for now, my regulars are helping me get by. I’ve definitely felt that too. I had 4 messages from new users come my way and I only managed to covert one since the other 3 didn’t have anything to do with my service or were just asking for my availability for a later date. Things just suddenly got real quiet from the next day. Hopefully, @frank_d could chime in on this because right now this doesn’t really feel “fair”.
  3. So, it’s going to be a wait-and-see situation then. Unless things pick back up I’m not sure whether I’ll be around. I have 5 orders in queue right now - 3 from return customers and 2 from clients from Facebook. Some sellers clearly don’t seem to be facing the same issues despite having the same gig so I don’t really know what to make of it.
  4. So I have absolutely no idea what’s going on. My impressions and clicks are going up but the number of orders and messages has gone down dramatically. 😬 I haven’t had a dry spell like this in over a year and I don’t know what I can do to make it any better. I’ve been delivering orders way faster than before and the overall satisfaction of my buyers seems to be higher as well.
  5. It’s not something new. I know I completed my metadata a while ago. But I purposefully left it to general, because I do write on a variety of topics. So I don’t believe choosing a niche would help me for my general writing gig. For others, maybe. Yes, but they seem to have been updated. Before they were a bit more specific (at least 2 months ago) in my category which is “Product Descriptions” but now they seem way more general like “E-Commerce Stores” and “Marketplaces”.
  6. Exactly the same. All gigs are getting more impressions and clicks than they have since I came back a month ago but few orders and messages I’ve only gotten 2 messages since yesterday. One asking for an assignment (why?) and another asking for barcodes (again, why?). A few days ago, I was only receiving relevant messages but I don’t know what happened in the last few days. Thank you for bringing this up! I went ahead and had a look at my gig and seems like I hadn’t selected anything for the Gig Metadata (which I assume is new). I didn’t even know that this was added. I don’t even have that feature right now. Hopefully, they roll it out to everyone soon cause I could really use it right about now.
  7. I could definitely see that being a thing since that would make more sense to focus on than relying on a single metric for conversion. On that note, the last 3 - 4 days have been pretty weird for me. I’m getting almost no new messages or orders from new clients and the messages I do get don’t seem to be related to my gig at all which hasn’t happened for the last month or so at least. Weirdly enough, I’m getting more clicks on my gig than usual.
  8. That might explain it. Whenever there’s an update to the site things become unusually quiet. Hopefully, things will pick up again soon. That does seem to be the case. The best selling option gives results for newer listings most of the time for quite a few keywords and honestly, I think that’s fine. They keep rotating gigs frequently too I guess that’s one way to give everyone a fair shot. It just kinda rubs me the wrong way that something like this wasn’t around when we started. Like I still remember spending hours a day hunting down any leads I could but somehow new sellers still find a way to complain about it.
  9. I think it’s worth mentioning that if you get more than usual orders a day then the new algorithm will probably suppress your gig until you clear enough out. I got 4 orders (mix of new and returning buyers) 2 days ago but I haven’t received a single message since yesterday which doesn’t happen often. Untitled1457×413 23.1 KB
  10. As Frank said in his initial post, there’s no more ranking. You’re up or down in search based on your performance. I do have around 15-20 of those inactive orders, and they don’t matter. What you need to realize is that things changed. It’s not 2014 anymore, Fiverr studies everything, from reviews to response time, cancellations, secret reviews, all of these matter. Plus, you are in a VERY VERY VERY competitive niche, with hundreds of thousands of people. Fiverr tries to be fair with everyone, and that means they will allow others to show your skills. The same thing happens for me in the writing section. There are people with way less reviews or experience that are on the first page, while I am on page 9 for example. I don’t know if relevant but I’ve been getting lower impressions and clicks but MORE orders from new customers and the messages I do receive from potential buyers are mostly relevant to my gigs more so than before.
  11. Exactly this. This seems to be spot on. The other day I got my first cancellation in months and the day after I only got like 12 clicks on my gig which is the lowest I’ve had - ever! Though impressions were still the same as always. I only started noticing these changes a week ago so maybe Fiverr just committed to the new algorithm completely.
  12. Hello, @ssj1236, maybe the search has to do with buyer levels according to some AI formula? I am sorry to hear about your recent downturn. ⤵️ Hey @vickiespencer, it’s great to talk to you again. From what I can tell, your Country and the time of the month play a role as well. The AI taking into account the buyer levels would also explain the implementation of the V.I.D buyers  Don’t worry about it. Hopefully, I should be able to bounce back soon enough. I’m still plenty busy because of returning clients so I can’t complain. But I do wonder how the TRS lifestyle is suiting you and again, congratulations :hugs: I just saw the post.
  13. No, they’re not. You can clearly see that the position of the gigs keeps shifting. Fiverr does still shuffle gigs around and shows different results for different keywords. From my understanding of Frank’s post, the AI automatically detects your performance and chooses different keywords to present different sellers. Honestly, the best thing anyone can do now is to keep trying their best - that’s it.
  14. I had my first cancellation of the year just the other day and today my clicks just tanked. Guess this explains it. And as always, thank you Frank for the amazing write-up. Hopefully, things will bounce back.
  15. I’m already registered and in the middle of setting up Zoom. Speaking of Zoom, is the call with your chosen success manager a video call, audio call, or chat? For the first one I might have to go out and get a decent cam.
  16. Thanks for the detailed and very helpful answer @frank_d. I really do appreciate it. I have been putting off thinking about this for a long time but seems like nows as good a time as any to finally figure out what my future on Fiverr is going to be like. Thankfully cancellations haven’t been an issue I’ve had to deal with other than the “Ooops, I ordered by mistake buyer” but I am having a hard time with people messaging and disappearing or not reading my gig description before messaging me. That’s one thing I’d hopefully like to discuss. Regardless, your response has given me a lot to think about, and again, thanks for always being so helpful and frankly awesome!. Take care.
  17. I was kinda worried about that being the case so this does put me at ease. Would you happen to have any pointers in mind on how to make the most of the meeting?
  18. What fun would growing up be? Yipee! @virginiabg Congrats Congratulations, maybe I will get to see all of you at the kick-off on March 4th. I see you are level two and you have a good starting price point, so maybe you will still get an invite. Good luck. 🍀 Looks like your good luck vibes rubbed off on me and I managed to get in. Can’t wait to see how it goes.
  19. Yes, that is what I am saying. The entire topic could be skipped and postponed until it is open to the public. Or that sentence to be included in the first post. But @mjensen415 did say above: (I added the bolding) So, I understood from the get-go that just because I expressed interest I may not get invited. I am sure there are more people that got invites from this thread than are posting about it. Regrettably, I didn’t get an invite but happy to hear you got in! I’ll be looking forward to hearing how your experience was.
  20. This definitely looks like something I’d want to take part in. $29 per month sounds like a reasonable price too even without the discount. Can’t wait to give this a try. I’ve been a seller on the platform for almost 5 years now so something like this would be a game-changer. Maybe now I could finally move all my services here.
  21. @designs_4u1 posted all of the requirements above. Do you meet them. I would gladly give you my Paid Promotion if I could. Yes, I am. Trying to hide from COVID and the amount of business I get on Fiverr is acceptable. I am recuping from taking care of 3 active grandkids for the whole summer due to COVID and their daycare being closed. But now I just have an active one year old 5 days a week so it is easier to keep up with my business. How are you and yours? Have you improved your eating habits? Are you still drinking chocolate syrup for breakfast? I do meet all of them but maybe it’s just not in my category yet so here’s to hoping. Luckily, most of my family including me already got it and overcame it so that’s a plus side to all this. Seriously, stay safe. COVID is just as horrible as the media makes it out to be. And I’m sure with a Grandmother like you they’re having the time of their life. I’ve started watching some old classics again to deal with everything going on this year. Ah, if only. On the contrary things on that front aren’t looking good. I did start taking cooking classes to deal with it but cause of the whole pandemic they didn’t last long. Other than that, things have been going well. Hopefully, they’ll get even better after I get this new ad feature.
  22. I was not impressed with it. But maybe you have higher entry level gigs. I only have one active gig at the moment and I’m pretty sure it meets all the requirements. Other than that, it’s been so long since we last talked! I hope you’ve been doing well.
  23. I think it is related. Fiverr is promoting the sellers who are paying for the prime locations and if you are not promoting your gig gets pushed back behind the promoted ones. In your CS reply they says, “If you set up an ad, and you see your Gig in your Promoted Gigs view, it’s being promoted and shown on the prime locations in our search.” But I see nowhere that it says for how long it is featured. I tried out the feature and did not like it. Every order was for my minimum amount of $10. Plus, by the time I added the price for the clicks I was paying Fiverr 23 to 25% as their part for promoting the gig. To me, for such small orders, it was not worth the expense. I can see where it may be valuable if a seller has larger sales. Also, while I ran the promotion I did not get many orders other than my regular buyers. Once I stopped the promotion, after about a week I started to get new buyers again. Well that is concerning since I don’t even have the Ad feature yet. Guess I’m in for a rough time.
  24. I don’t know whether it’s related or not but I’m having my worst week like EVER right now. My gig has had the worst stats this week as far as I can remember. I’ve only gotten 2 orders from new clients which has never happened before.
  25. First and foremost, calm down. It’s just the weekly gig rotations. Happens to everyone including me. If you can’t see your gig that doesn’t mean everyone else can’t. Just wait till suupport fixes the gig view and impressions bug to see how many views your gig is getting every day.
