Optimize your gig to make shine and attract more buyers - notification
gizdesigns replied to tohidul_pappu's question in Starter Questions
If I got a message from Fiverr asking me to take action so my gig can gain more visibility, I wouldn't even waste any seconds. Man, what exactly are you still waiting for? The notification literally says "... to make it shine and attract more buyers". You think they're joking? -
Please message me before placing an order!
gizdesigns replied to madowlvfx's topic in Tips from Sellers
Fiverr is an on-demand marketplace! Fiverr is an on-demand marketplace!! Fiverr is an on-demand marketplace!!! It's the same song I keep seeing in this forum, yet Fiverr encourage sellers to send custom offers, subscriptions & create milestones for some complex projects. Isn't it in the communication stage (inbox) that you send custom offers? I've seen pro sellers, too many TRS, & Rising Stars with this 'innocent & easy to digest' message in their descriptions (all with orders in queue), yet they still keep their badges. If fiverr don't frown at this, why should you? You can't just go around labeling sellers inexperienced or unprofessional simply because an argument doesn't fit your narrative. This is only your opinion, not the opinion of actual buyers ready to hire a seller. Not all gigs require this message, but some do. Agree or Disagree... THIS IS THE WAY!- 64 replies

Please message me before placing an order!
gizdesigns replied to madowlvfx's topic in Tips from Sellers
I will never be comfortable placing an order on fiverr without messaging the seller first. I'm a seller too, but I've purchased quite a few services here too. I've received discounts from sellers, received my order faster than the duration set on their gig page and enjoyed many other benefits just by communicating with the seller first. Not all gigs require you to message the seller first, but some others do. Services on fiverr are not all the same.- 64 replies

This means you're doing a good job and as you can see above, you've already found the solution. Raise your prices - as long as your skills match whatever prices you eventually raise your gigs to, you will always get pro buyers like this who appreciate your work and time.

Those were just suggestions that may have contributed to getting low impressions. Regardless, you still need to act or it will remain that way for a long time. Adjusting your seo is your best bet right now.

I would have started getting worried and shaking things up on April 16. It may have been from a bad review from a buyer (note that there's still one more review you don't get to see as a seller, but only fiverr & the buyer knows about). Order cancelation, late delivery and overall seller performance may have also contributed to this. Fiverr will eventually forgive you, but in the meantime, try adjusting your seo to improve your chances of getting back on search results.

Anyone know how to get more impressions and clicks
gizdesigns replied to piya777's topic in Gig Advice
It also depends on your seller level & selected gig category. If there's more buyers demand in that category, you will receive more BR.- 14 replies

What video/board games have you been playing recently?
gizdesigns replied to katakatica's topic in Lounge
Help! Just about to complete Assassin's Creed: Odyssey... The 3rd time! Next: Far Cry6 I love interactive games with good story & side quests where the actual ending is determined by your past decisions. You can easily replay the game, change your decisions and it will feel new.- 116 replies

Order Resolution Center -> Reduce Order Price Request
gizdesigns replied to raselkhondokar's topic in Fiverr.com Feedback
Valid point! Also, you can contact CS for additional support. If you have a valid reason to cancel the order, they may do it in a way that it won't affect your seller metrics. -
That was a bold step. Starting again from scratch is no joke. I hope you didn't lose all your previous repeat buyers.

This is a good suggestion. A lot of us picked random and weird usernames when we joined fiverr. Funny, I picked my username after a 'used to be' popular tech blog that i can no longer find on Google search result. It had 'giz' in it's name and my funny self thought it would be a good idea to use it as a prefix for my username. Many years later, It just didn't feel 'brandable' anymore. If fiverr could come up with a way to announce the changes to our previous buyers to avoid any confusion, this could work. You have no idea how bad I want to change my username. I wish there was a bold warning on the sign up page that states, "If you mess up with your username, you're stuck forever!"

Finding a REAL EXPERT among new sellers
gizdesigns replied to gina_riley2's topic in Tips from Buyers
This... so accurate. Do you also remember when an order 'that gets canceled for late delivery' used to be automatic 1star Review? Thanks for this well detailed post. I know I'm guilty of some of these points but will definitely do better!- 34 replies

Promote your gigs to increase your revenue
gizdesigns replied to ken87ken's topic in My Fiverr Experience
@jonbaas You completely ignored the best part of my response, but pitched a tent on the fact that Fiverr is a for-profit marketplace & it's okay to ask for more money. I'm guessing you also agree that Fiverr may have done something to our organic reach to encourage sellers to use 'promoted gigs' option because they have to make profit. I have just one simple question for you, just one. Before the introduction of "promoted gigs", I used to get up to 5 orders within 2 weeks. Now, with the current organic reach, I only get up to 2 using 'promoted gigs' still within 2 weeks. Let's do the Math: Assuming each order costs $100, with the previous organic reach, that will be a total of $500 (within 2 weeks). Fiverr earns $100 + service charge from the buyers (2.5x5=12.5) . I earn $400. But now, still assuming each order costs $100, that will be a total of $200 (within 2 weeks). Fiverr earns $40 + service charge from the buyer ($2.5x2= $5) + promo ($3x2 = $6) assuming It's $3/ads click. I'm left with $160 Keep in mind that "Only sellers with strong seller/gig performance are allowed into the Promoted Gigs Program", but for whatever reasons a lot of us are still denied the benefits of organic reach. If your metrics are still good, lucky you! So I ask, which is more Profitable for both Fiverr & the Seller? Improving the organic reach algorithm (and let the buyers come to us) or introducing promoted gigs (where fiverr picks your buyer for you)? -
Yea, I get your point. I haven't checked these categories in a while now, my bad! I believe If you have a product to sell and want a female voice over for the promotions, it is understandable to filter out the male gender. It's your brand and your preference. But here's the flip side - If you need the service of a copywriter, you're not just gonna pick a seller because it's a lady or because women write better. A clever buyer will go through the previous reviews first before placing an order. So in reality, the gender doesn't matter in this context. Our profile image on search result is way too tiny to be noticed anyway.

Promote your gigs to increase your revenue
gizdesigns replied to ken87ken's topic in My Fiverr Experience
Yea, I get what you mean. Only sellers with strong seller/gig performance are allowed into the Promoted Gigs Program, but do you think these selected sellers should be having it hard getting new orders organically? Do you think sellers who are already getting lots of impressions/clicks/orders organically would still want to pay to promote their gigs on the same platform? My biggest concern is the effectiveness of organic reach, whether we can still rely on this without the mercy of 'promoted gigs'. Back in 2018-2021 as a graphic designer, if your impression was suffering, you adjust your seo; clicks? adjust your gig cover; orders? You update your portfolio. This has always been working for me & a lot of us. Lately, you have to do 'more' and it's harder to figure out what 'more' to do. I honesty don't mind running promotions for my gigs (we only pay for the clicks). Currently running 3 promos & I get new orders on average after every 4 clicks. I'm just a seller who want to understand why my organic reach is suffering when I'm already listed as a "seller with strong seller/gig performance".- 17 replies
