  1. Here's an example of the revision nightmare:

"I don’t really like any of them. They’re not empowering or uplifting"

What am I supposed to do with that? I explained my situation, she said this:

"Then don’t make the revision. I just won’t use any of them. Will hire someone else"

At that point I had to request a refund.

I might have overreacted. She can't give me a bad review unless I give her a review. All she can do is defame me with Fiverr, but not with my future buyers.

Is it possible that I have conversations with my clients using a different language rather than English? And of course, my clients prefers the same.

You can, I do it all the time with my Hispanic clients. The only thing I hate is that the App only recognizes English, so you can make spelling mistakes when writing in other languages. The website is easier.

  3. I had a bad experience with a buyer, she accepted my cancellation, but I fear she might order my gig again in the future and I don't want that.

In the past, I would click on the name and just block them. This time it's not working.

Anyone else knows what's going on?

Can you click on a customer's name, and see if you get the blocking option?

I hope this is a temporary glitch.

  4. 9 times out of 10, when I pre-deliver my work (without clicking "Deliver Now"), I get no feedback from the buyer, it's like they either don't get a Fiverr notification or they ignore it. But if I click Deliver Now, I usually get a revision request or the buyer expresses his gratitude.

Is this your experience as well?

That the same issue I faced! For Lead Generation and Email Marketing when anyone say I need to find email for my business- they are saying it is not allowed in Fiverr. But finding email is allowed in fiverr always in the Data Entry and Lead Generation Sector.

Looks like you're going to have to do a regular search without neo. You're absolutely right, there are many data services on Fiverr. One time I shared a popular FB post, and had all the likes extracted.

  6. I've been experimenting with Microsoft Bing Image Creator, and I'm amazed at the results.

I asked the AI to create a screaming radio, and look at what it did.

    https://www.bing.com/images/create/radio-screaming/1-65a5e7d9b80842739d00092ab32995ee?id=jUHn9VbfIoPpN1sqG%2fwbbw%3d%3d&view=detailv2&idpp=genimg&FORM=GCRIDP&mode=overlay

The question is, does it violate TOS to use AI to create images for my gigs? I'm a writer, I don't want to keep hiring artists every time I need an image.

    allows you to prevent direct orders;

Direct orders aren't the problem, the problem is when a client doesn't like the work I did, that usually happens with brand names. With my other gigs, I rarely have any problems. That's why I'm sticking with good gigs and deleting bad ones. Same reason I stopped doing LinkedIn summaries years ago- clients don't want a mere summary of their resume, they want creative writing.

Karen goes in a restaurant, orders a big steak and bottle of wine, then says, "I don't like the way the waitress treated me", and attempts to leave without paying.  Of course, you don't stand for it.

On Fiverr, CS will blame the seller and will force cancel the order. This is why I only want gigs that don't attract troublemakers.

If I remember correctly, Simon is no longer in the program.

What program is that? Seller Plus? I was on SP for a while, but it didn't help me much.

Promoted Gigs has helped me immensely. Right now, I have $170 in sales with $7.91 spent. I can see which promoted gigs have conversions, which ones they don't, and draw insights from it.

That just requires communication skills as a business professional.

You think everyone is professional? Have you ever worked in customer service? Have you ever dealt with a Karen?

We have too many customers who think they're Kings. It's their way or the highway, even if what they want is impossible to deliver.

"I want a four-letter brand name like Nike, real words only, .com only, under $20"

That's impossible! Domain speculators already bought those domains. So what do you do when that customer orders your gig?

Why is it impossible to say, "Sure thing, that will cost $50?

It's not impossible, but the customer might get angry and demand a refund.

I once had an angry customer because I lowered my gig's prices while I had an active order. People are crazy.

That is completely untrue. The problem stems from sellers who either foolishly offer unlimited revisions, or are unable or unwilling to charge for revisions that fall outside the scope of what was purchased, out of some sort of fear.

Just because your clients are wonderful and accept your terms, doesn't mean we all get clients like that. Anyone who has ever contacted CS knows they will tell you to work with your buyer or they will close the order and you get nothing.

Also, the software doesn't work. If your gig offers one revision, then it should be impossible to request a second revision.

Some sellers on this forum also shared that their gig performance got disturbed after promotion.

That's one reason some sellers advertise their gigs on Facebook and Google, very little chance of getting banned unless you're selling or doing something against TOS.

Fiverr's Promoted Gigs is capricious. One 4-star review, one missed message, doesn't mean the seller isn't doing quality work.

You can show your entire name if you want. I do, I don't see that as an issue. Some people want more privacy, others focus on branding, so I think it's an ok feature since it helps everyone without being too restrictive, nor it reveals too much.

I don't want future employers finding my comments on the Fiverr Forum, don't want to get cancelled. When it comes to branding, would you say most influencers are using their real names? Or are they using nicknames such as The Bee Lady or Taxes With Tim? Those are made up by the way.

Or Fiverr has made this service available for some selected sellers?

Click Growth & Marketing and find promoted gigs.

Most of my gigs are on the program, except for one.

You can choose which gigs to promote, daily budget, CPC (cost per click), etc.

I chose $5, today is 6/28, my stats are as follows:

    SPEND $4.78
    SALES $70
    ORDERS
    3
This is how I did it.

    1. Charge $10 per package
    2. Get two orders in the queue
    3. Raise my package prices to $20, $30, and $50
    4. Get a $50 order
     Good luck!

Unfortunately thats the point, its just a part time income, you cant rely on them.

I joined Fiverr in 2013, it was wild back then. My first month on Fiverr I made $50, next month it was like $150, eventually I got all the way up to $1,850.

Back then you could sell almost anything, refunds didn't get you demoted, and the money was great.

I remember having 5 to 15 orders per day, and being jealous of the people with 25 to 50 orders per day.

    Now it's very different.

  15. I only get orders when Promoted Gigs allows me, and they don't promote me as much as I want.

I get so few orders that I'm in danger of getting demoted, can't maintain a 4.7 rating if I'm not getting enough orders.

At this point, Fiverr is just a hobby. I don't see it as a business or a significant source of income.

I cannot afford what, 20/30 dollars a month for standard.

Everyone has different experiences. I left the program because their insider information, such as keywords, tags, etc. didn’t make a difference in my sales.

  17. I've been testing ChatGPT and I'm extremely impressed.

You can ask it to write a funny radio or TV commercial, jingles, poems, essays, blogs, even a story of a bird falling in love with a worm.

However, ChatGPT won't write 100+ page books, and there are restrictions regarding to violence, blue subjects, etc.

ChatGPT can also answer questions about jobs for introverts, direct flights to X, even what stocks do well in a recession.

    I think it's a great tool.

Right now I'm using it to write cover letters that incorporate my resume and the job description, I'm extremely impressed. It's a huge time saver.
