  1. This new review system not only seems to be confusing buyers and not representing what they're actually wanting to leave as a review, but also causing buyers to jump through hoops just to leave a review. This process should be quick and easy for them, not a full blown survey. Since the start of the new review system, I've had significantly less buyers leave reviews than before. Most simply cannot be bothered.
  2. Are there set rules or metrics for literally anything with this new system?! Kesha, the more you're replying, the more confused I get about every single thing.
  3. So essentially, we have to keep a nearly perfect score to stay Top Rated Sellers yet we can't be told how this score is calculated and what influences it other than generic advice that we're all already well aware of from our experience as a TRS. Makes perfect sense. Does anyone behind the scenes even know how this algorithm works with the exception of a few people in charge at Fiverr? Seems that way with all of the back and forth, contradictory replies and information, and copy/paste e-mails from Customer Support. Just another roll out where people who depend on Fiverr for their livelihood have to figure it out as we go since Fiverr never provides direct answers. This forum is flooded with high quality, Fiverr sellers who follow the rules of the platform AND bring in the majority of the revenue for this platform. This does nothing but intentionally push high quality sellers away, give them a bad taste of Fiverr and start looking for alternatives to take their business elsewhere. I don't see any spammy $5 sellers on here commenting and that's who Fiverr will be left with--sellers who don't care.
  4. This has been my exact experience too on multiple occasions now. Whether it is a language barrier or simply misunderstanding the wording, buyers are clearly intending to mark positive attributes (based on great written reviews and further clarification) yet its being marked in the section of "where you can improve"
  5. The only time I ever extend the delivery time is when a client doesn't provide enough details in my requirement boxes and instead writes something along the lines of, "will fill out later" and/or is unresponsive for several days. In both situations, this is a mutual agreement and understanding between my client and myself and nobody is upset about the extended delivery time. Now, Fiverr expects me to be a mind reader and predict situations when this happens? Impossible. How can a mutually agreed decision negatively impact your impact score? This makes no sense. In instances where the seller is at fault and if it is an issue for the buyer, they will clearly make this known in their review/private review.
  6. It seems to be the new norm where buyers are mistakenly selecting "good" qualities in the wrong section of "Where you can improve" instead of "Things You Did Right". I've noticed this has been happening with a lot of non-native English speakers who think they are selecting positive attributes for their order.
  7. This entire new rating and level system is flawed. Did Fiverr just decide to "wing it" and see what happens? As a Top Rated Seller and being a full time freelancer for several years now, this just reiterates my feelings about Fiverr as a whole...they do not care about their sellers and definitely do not listen to them. I have yet to read one positive thing about this entire new system. I've had numerous repeat buyers at this point who are non-native English speakers, misinterpret the rating system. They have left me amazing, written reviews and mistakenly are marking items as "Where You Can Improve" when what they mean to select is "Things That Went Well". This is very apparent based on what they are listing in their written reviews. After reaching out and speaking to some of these buyers to see if there was anything I could do to improve their experience (keep in mind--not asking them to change any review and risk my account being banned), they have stated they were confused and didn't mean to mark it as this.
  8. Couldn't agree more as a Top Rated Seller myself. You made some great points. They have always cared more for clients and not sellers which has always been abundantly clear. Yet, us high quality sellers are what make Fiverr what it is.

  10. Definitely agree with these and deliver excellent work for your first orders. The first couple orders are the hardest, but the more you do well, the higher you'll rank.
  11. I've been eligible for over a year and meet the requirements every month, there's really no timeline as you have to be manually reviewed
  12. Both are mostly a waste of time. Helpful if you're just starting out to get a few reviews, but otherwise these are usually people trying to get the most amount of work possible for the smallest amount
  13. I never offer free demos. I'll typically send them any similar samples to their projects I have and if they want a small sample, I will do it for my basic gig price
