  4. If you're struggling with a low conversion rate (people click but don't buy) you have to look at why. Is your gig description good enough? Do you have a great gig video that tells the buyer exactly why they should pick you and what makes you different from the thousands of other sellers in your category? Do you have a great value proposition? (A value offer is a well-thought-out service that adds to the value of your gig, helping you to beat the competition, because the buyer will see you as the best option). You have to stand out from all the other sellers on the platform; otherwise, you're just another new seller, among thousands of other new sellers trying to compete. Differentiate yourself. That's how you land sales. Here are a few ways to improve the conversion rate of your gig that you can use right now: A/B-testing: precisely what it sounds like. Test which gig title and description work best for you. You can also test different thumbnails and gig videos to see which one converts better. Test one thing at a time; otherwise, you won't know what made the difference. Have a compelling value proposition: Make sure the buyer knows right away why they should buy from you and not someone else. Make it short, sweet, and put it at the top of your gig description and the beginning of your gig video. You only have a couple of seconds to catch the buyers attention. Use them well. Make sure you stand out: for your value proposition to have any real value, it must stand out from your competition. Analyze what successful sellers in your category are doing. Don't copy them, but use them for inspiration to create your own value proposition. Ask yourself "What makes me and what I offer different and better?" Skip the marketing jargon and fancy buzzwords: I wrote about this in a topic yesterday. Click here to read it, and learn why buzzwords can be a turn-off to your buyers. Remember that you're writing for real people, so keep your feet planted firmly on the ground. Address doubts: every buyer has doubts! You need to address them. It could be your price, or maybe they aren't sure if your service will work well for them. Know what those doubts are, and make sure you address them to make the buyer feel safe. Avoid spelling errors, bad grammar and syntax errors: If your English is bad, you'll scare away buyers. Make sure you can communicate clearly. Use tools like Grammarly to improve your grammar, but there's no substitute for actually knowing a language. Make it easy to understand what you're selling: don't dress it up too much. Make it clear from the get-go what's included, and be specific but quick about it. Get rid of distracting elements: if your gig thumbnail, video or description is full of distracting elements, it can be a huge turn-off for your buyer. Avoid filling your description with complicated formatting, emojis, icons and so on. Keep your thumbnails clean and attention-grabbing. The same goes for your gig videos, titles, and communication elsewhere on the platform. I hope this helps if you are struggling with low conversion rates on Fiverr! Following these tips has had a real impact on my own business, and I've tested and implemented each one of them on my way to becoming a successful seller.

  6. The forum is full of new sellers desperately wanting success. Someone has told them that you just create a gig and everybody rushes to buy it … Easy money! Of course that is not the case! Selling on Fiverr is just like opening a business. Imagine you are opening a shop in a town. You would see what the competition is doing. Are they offering the same thing as you. Can you offer something different or better. Or maybe a niche that nobody else has thought of. That is called research and you must do this before doing anything. Only offer something for which you have the ability to provide a professional service. Make sure everything in your profile is accurate. Buyers are not stupid and they will see through deception and move on to buy from someone else. Your Fiverr account and your forum account are separate. Posting on the forum will not get you sales. Use the forum to read and learn from experienced forum members and sellers. Everything you need to be successful is on the forum or the Fiverr website. Beware of what you are finding elsewhere! Read, learn, take action! Good luck! 🙂

  8. A few weeks ago, I hit a major milestone - I have completed over 1000 orders on Fiverr. However, not all 1000+ have rated their order, so I have about 700 star reviews currently. I would like to include in my gig description that "I have completed over 1000 orders on Fiverr, to date". This is accurate and can be validated by Fiverr staff. However, I wanted to ensure this does not violate the ToS in any way. I read the ToS, but in abundance of caution, wanted to ensure I wasn't missing anything. Thanks in advance!

  10. If you think that is the key to succeeding as a freelancer, you are woefully mistaken. Great gigs get orders regardless of whether the seller is online or offline. 🤦‍♂️

  14. Hello everybody here some tips for Buyers. 1) Read carefully the description of the gig you want to purchase 2) Don't hire at once if the description says "please contact me first before placing an order" (or anything like that) 3) You might be looking for something that you think is the best but remember the seller should know how to do his work, consider his suggestions too 4) Be patience, never rush or pressure the seller to deliver the project before the time stipulated 5) Respect the limits, if the sellers has their gig paused don't insist (4 buyers almost forced me to work with them even after I said I have already lot of work and can't accept more) 6) Don't ask for free revisions if the order already was marked as completed (happened to me once) 7) In middle of the order don't ask for something different that requested at first

  15. As a seller on Fiverr, you know the importance of receiving repeat orders from your buyers. Not only does repeat business confirm the high quality of your service (go you!) but also gives you peace of mind by helping you to create a stable income. Fiverr has always encouraged long term relationships between buyers and sellers, and now, with the repeat business score and badge on seller profiles, this is recognized even further! How it works: Log in > Analytics tab To the right of the “Overview tab” (which you already know), see the “Repeat business tab” Once complete > Choose your subcategory from the dropdown menu See your repeat business score, and how you perform in each of the factors that it is comprised of: Repeat buyers The number of buyers who ordered from you again within the last 90 days. Repeat buyers (%) The percentage of buyers who ordered from you again within the last 90 days. Earnings from repeat buyers Your earnings from repeat orders (before any added fees/ taxes). Earnings from repeat buyers (%) The percentage of your earnings from repeat buyers from your total earnings. Notice the banner at the bottom of the page > See tips and tricks on how to meet (or exceed!) your buyers’ expectations > See more tips How to improve your score: Focus on your buyers’ requirements The more you know about what your buyers want, the better you can meet (or exceed!) their expectations. Keep your buyers updated Be quick in your responses and share updates with your buyers. Ensure them that you have their best interests in mind. Get early feedback on your work Get a feel for what your buyers are thinking and be flexible about making changes prior to the order delivery date. Tell buyers what else you have to offer Buyers often need extra services delivered. If you feel it appropriate, let them know how else you can add value to an ongoing order. Reward your valued buyers with coupons Everyone loves a good deal! Encourage buyers to order from you again using exclusive coupons for your Gig/s. For more information, please check out the repeat business help article. https://www.fiverr.com/support/articles/4404431241617 And as always, please let us know what you think and ask questions below!

  19. Hi, everyone. I joined fiverr less than a months ago. I have successfully delivered and completed four orders. But my only problem is that I don’t get reviews from this buyers. There was one that came with a challenge about the end product of her soap making being a disaster. She even sent me a picture. And truly it was not looking good. I came up with an entire formula and delivered to her. After about 5 days or so, she sent me a message about the end product of the new formula she tried. She was happy and all. Cause it was looking really smooth and it had all the quality a good soap should have. But she never left a review. Why?. I don’t understand why. How can I get buyers to leave a review? Thank you for you response in advance

  24. How to get order's ? 🤔👇 1. stay online as much you can 2. fill up 10 buyer request daily, if you can 3. share your gig's on social media platfrom because it will help you to get enough impression or clicks or sometimes if you are lucky 😀 you can got the order from their also 🙂 4. try to archive more knowledge if you want you can use fiverrforum and catch the knowledge from experienced seller 5. create eye catching gig's and properly use latest keywords by researching 6. In gig try to give the attractive description so buyer get the right knowledge that why they should choose you, okay 7. Use most attractive gig's image but no copy 🥱 use your best experience their 8. If customer's knock you then try to know what they want and give your offer by thinking their budget and issues, okay 9. In fiverr platfrom many seller's have enough experience by their own knowledge so, why customer's choose you let them to know 🥰 10. After complete the work when you delivery the work, don't loose customer's attraction from you 😇 just give them lifetime feedback if you can 🤫 So, keep go ahead and don't lose your hope 🙂 all the best, wished by turjay 😊

  39. The problem with up and down-voting in the questions section is that posts are "physically" moved because of it. It creates an incoherent conversation. I have an idea, though. The moderators who are paid to keep this forum clean clearly aren't doing a good job, otherwise you wouldn't have so many regulars complaining about the state of things. So how about adding a new rank to the forum? Call it "operator" or something (I know, I miss the IRC days), and give that role the option to hide any topic/post from the front page of the forum that isn't conducive to the quality of the forum or actual questions. Let the operators move posts to their correct category as well. Banning/warning people could still be a moderator only tool. Let the operators have a direct line of communication with the moderators. GIve this role to people who have been on the forum for a long time, who contributes to the community on a regular basis, and who has shown themselves worthy of it. Give the community back to its users, instead of some invisible team of moderators!
