  8. FIVERR RANKING TIPS Fiverr is no longer for Lazy Sellers As you know, Fiverr is one of the most popular websites today where people go to earn extra income. Gig on the First page is not that much hard but patience is the key. First thing first is your Impressions that should be more means more eyes gone through your gig, and how you can increase it- that depends on your Gig SEO. To get orders on Fiverr, the foremost thing is ranking the gig. For this, you have to do some SEO tricks to rank your gig on Fiverr 1st page. How does Fiverr’s Search Algorithm work? Let me explain with the help of an example. Let’s suppose, you want to make a gig for article writing. Go to Fiverr search bar- type Article there, note down the relevant keywords that appear in the search option like article writer, article writing, SEO article writer. Note them down. Tip: Trying using keywords that have a lower number of gigs in search results. For example, if the keyword “article writer” has 20,000 gigs search results while the keyword “article writing” has 10,000 results, go for “article writing”. Add your main keyword in the gig title and Use one or two of noted keywords in your gig’s main title. Like, I will be your SEO writer and article writer. Include relevant keywords in Description. It is the most important part that should be done wisely. Some tips: Check the gig descriptions of other successful sellers, relevant to your services. Pick ideas from their description to write yours Use related keywords in the description 2 to 3 times like article writing, article writer, blog writing, etc. Hook with a question like are you a blogger worried to attract traffic to your blog? Provide buyers solution to their problem as don’t worry, this gig will sort out your worries Describe your services with a brief intro to your experience End with a call to action Must add FAQs, at least two, and use keywords 1 or 2 times in FAQs like How many articles can you write per day? The article here is a keyword. Adding Tags: For related tags, search your main keyword that is WordPress website and filter top-rated and level 2 sellers. Then open the first 10 gigs in separate tabs. Now open MS Word or Notepad and start copying tags of all 10 gigs and paste each on a separate line. Here you got 50 tags. Find the 5 most common and repeating tags, add these 5 tags in your related keywords section while creating your new gig or updating your existing gig. Stay online 24/7 Whether you're a new seller or have an old account. Fiverr will only consider active and working sellers for ranking. You have to always be online so when buyers select “Active Sellers” in search, your Gig will be shown there. Download the Fiverr mobile app and stay online from there 24/7 or if you are online using a laptop or pc it would be better. What if you're not getting orders and have nothing to do? You can't only stay online but also wander on Fiverr and send buyer requests to show that you're working. Promote your gigs on social media platforms, Fiverr will see that you are promoting gigs continuously and genuinely. Try to get orders from buyer requests even if you're a level 2 seller and not getting enough orders. Don't get offline for a single day. It will ruin your previous progress.… Laziness in replying to the buyer will not only affect your response rate but also the chance of getting order will be gone. The buyer would have moved to some other seller. If a buyer asks something that you don't know, don't say that you can't do it. Be quick and search it on Google and try to provide the solution. The buyer will be impressed by you and can become your long-term client. So, Sacrifice your Laziness if you can't Sacrifice the Money

  9. Not at all. But it is the most repeated piece of misinformation. When you see someone say that, you know they do not know how fiverr works. Just ignore them.

  10. Twitter is another powerful tool where you can share your gigs. First of all, you can create your twitter id. Increaser your followers. But it takes time. In a shortcut way, you can use trending hashtags. How you use trending hashtags to improve your gigs impressions? Simple just post your link in the tweet and also use whatever the hashtags are in trending. Must add an image in your tweet. No matters it your gig image or any other image. For the sake of click you can use the image with an inspirational quote in your post due to this you can get more attention from the people. That’s how you can increase the chance that people will click on your tweet link. Don’t be repeat your tweet. The majority of people can tweet the same thing repeatedly. If you can do this, people will lose interest Keep consistent and stay relevant to your services. I would suggest you, Maximum 7 to 8 tweets is enough on a daily basis. You can post something new that is relevant to your gig Use all the hashtags in your every tweet. Especially include all those tweets which are on trending. Suppose if you use #WordpressExpert in your tweet and someone is looking WordPress expert Your tweet will display in his result he can go through your tweet. May be h can click on it. Manageflitter Its best web-based application. This application helps you to gain your insights. you can get effective results on twitter by using this application. Post your gig link in tweets reply. Post your reviews if you have any in Fiverr. The most important thing is your consistency. If you constantly post your gigs link in twitter and all other social and open forum sites. Definitely, you will get a nice position on the first page. Consistency Matter.

  13. Hello @jaxsquadand welcome to the Forum. Although you're going to read many bulleted lists stating tips and tricks you should be aware that they are mostly false or misleading. Let's start with debunking some "tips", shall we? You don't have to stay "maximum" time online nor all day. Being active on this Forum won't automatically lead to orders. You can publish your gigs on social media targeting the right audience, i.e. avoid spamming your gigs on facebook groups or similar. You can also try to get a job through the Buyer Request (BR), that's true. But you don't need to use all your offers. What's left? Well, to gain your first order you can follow officials tips - like setting up a grammatical mistake free profile and gigs or create eye-catching thumbnails for your gigs. I also recommend to take a look to the articles written by experienced sellers. Here's a couple of interesting threads but there are tons of them on this Forum. Take your time to browse it and acquire knowledge. https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/243824-welcome-to-fiverr-30/?tab=comments#comment-1463830 https://community.fiverr.com/forums/topic/234149-new-sellers-the-true-way-to-success/page/22/?tab=comments#comment-1571199 Last but not least, some tips to get along with the Forum. Do not spam the threads, i.e. replying with nonsense or two words sentences - for instance, "thank you", "thanks brother", "you are right", etc. There are specific reaction or emoji to show your sympathy at the bottom right of the page. Use it wisely. Before asking something - like the starting question of this post - browse to Forum to get your answer quickly. I think that's all. I know it's a lot of information but hang in there. Good luck!

  16. Why my impression is down ? How can i improve my gig impressions & clicks ? Lost click & impression Suddenly my impressions down The above topics were created and discussed multiple times in this forum, but most of the members are still with misconceptions as "Sharing the gigs in social media / marketing gigs / Stay online 24 hrs / Sending buyer requests will increasing the gig impression. What is GiG Impression Impressions means the number of times your gig displayed to Fiverr audience. There are many reasons as below: * If your gig is displayed on the Fiverr home page or is part of featured gigs * If anyone clicked on the category page of your gig, and if your gig displayed on that page, Your gig and all other gigs on that page will get 1 impression. * If someone searches with any of your gig keyword and if your gig is a part of that search result then your gig and all other gigs found on that search result will get 1 impression. * Someone clicks on any gig and your gig is displayed in the suggested gigs section at the bottom of the page then also its possible to get 1 impression. More impressions make sure that your gig gets enough visibility around fiver and gets you higher chances of getting an order. Why new sellers are complaining as impression down ? When your gigs were new and when they were shown in the "Newest Arrivals" sections, there could be a reason for the increased impressions and views at first. When Fiverr rotates the GiGs, your GiG could have lost it's ranking position and could lost the impressions. Impressions will not stay stable and it will go up and down quite frequently. Do not worry in this case as this is out of our control. How to increase gig impressions Research and apply basic popular keywords in the title, tags and gig description. This is the only way we can follow to increase the impression as far as i know.

  17. You are trying get some jobs from online marketplace and wish to be a freelancer ? Like from #Upwork, #fiverr, #freelencers, #99designs, #toptal, #weworkremotely, #dribbble , #startupers, #authenticjobs #gigster #folyo, #creativemarket, #clarity, #behance, #guru, #peopleperhour, #smashingjobs etc? Taking many courses to learn how to get the first job? Some people/company promising you to give the training and the first job ?? You are in a kind of a trap ! They will do everything but might not just give you these points even though you paid them a hefty amount ! Either they don’t know or they intentionally ignores these ! Only a few steps will give you the first job, maybe not in the quickest time, but once you hit it, you will have a very good ground already making and don’t have to look back Insha-Allah. 1. Pick 1 category from the job sites you might feel most interested in. Also, check if that category has enough work recently offered. Priority is what is your interest, then the work availability! 2. Learn the basics fast in that category. 3. Search for similar job and check descriptions closely to understand what kind of work people are offering and practice yourself with those that you can serve those. 4. After 4-8 weeks, spending a minimum of 4 hours a day, you should get some job requirements for those 60-70 % matches with your capability. Start doing those even before you contact the buyer. 5. Complete that as soon as you can. Don’t panic. Double-check with requirements to be confirmed if you did what the buyer was looking for. If possible make it checked by someone else before you share it with the buyer. Make it available that anyone can check. 6. Then contact the buyer saying, ” Hi, I think I did 60-70% of your project work already. Can you please check if that is what you are looking for ?” BOOM ! 90% chance you will get a reply on that ! Most of the freelancers even don’t get a response as their profile is new compared to the 10s of other bids! To be successful in #freelancing, You have to have #patience, #honesty, #tenacity and #proactively #timely #communication (English) ! Good Luck. Let me know if you have any questions. #outsourcing

  22. Does gig marketing on social media help in ranking?
    8 points
  23. Ok, this is a difficult topic. I mean, very subjective, probably. The reason is that we deal with digital goods, so, there is not an initial expense to calculate. The initial expense is our time, our efforts and our dedication. Anyway, while any of us has a different idea of initial expense when producing our products, I think that the best way to calculate the final quote is toward an higher margin, than a lower margin. The reason is that we need to keep the prices "high" so the importance of our products is high as well. I explain, if you sell for just a few dollars, the word of mouth is that that specific product is worthless, not important, or mediocre. And we don't want this. Since we all work with digital goods, as example, I work with music, I want that my music is considered important, not just because it's a work of art and talent, but also because it's considered of value from a price perspective. So, when calculate your prices, consider this, do you want your product to be considered mediocre or important? Choose a balanced price of course, but toward an higher margin. That's all 😀

  25. As @newsmike just posted, it doesn't affect your gig "ranking", but it will affect either your health or your Fiverr account. And in both cases you'll lose. 1. Why your health? Because if you don't sleep, you'll get sick. Therefore, you won't be able to work, will have to spend money on meds/doctors, etc. Besides, how long do you think you can go without sleep? Not that much... Which takes me to the second option. 2. Why your Fiverr account? Because you can't stay forever without sleep. Therefore, you'll be tempted to use extension of all kinds to make you look as if you were online. That's cheating and Fiverr doesn't like cheaters. You'll get a warning, at best, if not banned.

  28. The forum is full of new sellers desperately wanting success. Someone has told them that you just create a gig and everybody rushes to buy it … Easy money! Of course that is not the case! Selling on Fiverr is just like opening a business. Imagine you are opening a shop in a town. You would see what the competition is doing. Are they offering the same thing as you. Can you offer something different or better. Or maybe a niche that nobody else has thought of. That is called research and you must do this before doing anything. Only offer something for which you have the ability to provide a professional service. Make sure everything in your profile is accurate. Buyers are not stupid and they will see through deception and move on to buy from someone else. Your Fiverr account and your forum account are separate. Posting on the forum will not get you sales. Use the forum to read and learn from experienced forum members and sellers. Everything you need to be successful is on the forum or the Fiverr website. Beware of what you are finding elsewhere! Read, learn, take action! Good luck! 🙂

  32. I recently saw a new seller write this on the forums: "[I have the] pleasure to inform all of you that I have completed [my] 1st order with 5 stars and and excellent review." Well, congratulations. That's great! However... Telling the rest of us, here on the forums, whenever you get your first order, is not going to make you a better seller, nor will it bring you more orders. We are not your customers. We are not the people who will hire you. We can't do anything to make you have "more orders with 5-star reviews". That is something only YOU can do, and it will not happen if you just sit around and wait. Fiverr was built for doers. Fiverr's tagline is, "In Doers We Trust"..... take action, be a doer, not a "celebrate and wait around-er". We're happy that you're here on the forums. We're happy that you earned an order. BUT, you don't need to announce each order to the rest of us. Dozens of sellers are doing that. Imagine how annoying it would be, if all of us veteran sellers -- who have earned hundreds and thousands of orders -- eagerly announced our 1,232nd order.... our 1,233rd order.... our 1,234th order... our 1,235th order.... our 1,237th order..... our 1,238th order..... and so on. Yikes! That would be forum overload, and other users would run away from here as fast as they could! We certainly don't want that. So, how about a compromise. How about you try something a little different. Why not try setting some longer-term goals -- why not try setting a higher order milestone -- and then share your excitement with all of us, when you reach 100 orders, 500 orders, or even 1,000 orders. Success takes time, and it usually results from hard work, strategic marketing, and an ambitious mindset. So, here's a powerful seller tip.... Step back, set some goals for your freelance career, and then train yourself to look further down the road. Be ambitious. Be driven. Be more excited about earning your 100th order, than you are about announcing your first one. Think bigger. Work harder. Be a Doer. Success does not come to those who wait. And it certainly doesn't come to those who celebrate one order, and then do nothing productive to earn order #2. Be hungry. Give us all something BIG to celebrate. Look beyond your first order. Successful sellers set ambitious goals, and then work hard to reach them. If you want to be successful, celebrate the bigger numbers.

Also, do image SEO Find low competitive keyword and highlight them 4-5 times in the description Do gig marketing by sharing your gigs in different platforms Send all 10 quality proposals with your work samples This is the way to manage to get orders from buyers.
