  1. Hey everyone! I’ve just started my journey on Fiverr as a seller. I’m a graphic designer and a WordPress developer. I’m really excited to be here. :star_struck: It’s a pleasure to meet you all. 😊

  2. I am already on the platform for like 2 years and still I can’t get any sales. Could you please help me by saying what’s wrong on my gigs and my profile, I’m starting to lose faith in Fiverr

  3. A friendly tip. When you send a custom offer, you might want to set an expiry time on it. Not all offers are accepted but one may get accepted very unexpectedly MONTHS later. Don’t get caught out. 🙂

  5. Hello everyone! 🖐️ Have someone explain to me why everyone is so insistent and tells the new seller to be online?! okay, I agree that they are then listed as online sellers. but being online 24/7 is physically and mentally impossible … when is it time to sleep etc? 🧐 as far as I know, it can only be done thanks to the automatic refreshing of the browser, which is said to be against the rules of Fiverr … :stop_sign: Please do not say such things to the new seller and do not expose them to a ban or loss of health. it is enough to be active only when we can really write back (thanks to this our average response time will not drop), and we will receive the order anyway if someone is interested in our gig. 😉 If someone has a different opinion, please write about it in the comment, we can definitely learn a lot from each other! Good luck! 😀 Regards, Kapiks

  6. Your profile says you’ve been a member for one year, not two. Anyway. I would take a look at your profile description and just clean it up a little bit, consider changing some things. I wouldn’t say you are 13 years old. Please don’t think I’m patronising you or suggesting you’re unable to deliver what you say because of your age, but there are thousands of sellers offering a similar service and if people are going to spend money they want someone with plenty of experience.

  7. If you’re going to report buyers for behaviour that breaks the ToS, you need to be squeaky clean yourself, so nobody can report you for anything. You’ve got a gig offering economics assignments. Offering to do academic work is against the ToS. Perhaps if you remove that gig, your buyers won’t find anything to report you for? 😉

You went against BIGHIT? It is miracle the feds are not on your doors. BIG HIT crushes any illegal use of their materials, even tiny ones.

  9. I use Fiverr to buy as well as to sell my services. Most of my experiences as a Buyer have been good, however, sometimes I’ve decided not to work with a Seller for one simple reason. The utter lack of professionalism. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect you to talk like a butler when I greet you. But when I approach a Seller, I use professional language. I’m here to talk business, after all, and potentially give you my money for a service. When I send a message, I expect the same kind of respect in return. If you’re a Seller, please: Be professional.Thank the buyer for contacting you.Answer their questions to the best of your ability.Use proper grammar and spelling. If it isn’t your strong suit, install Grammarly. It’s free.Be friendly and attentive to their needs. If you must reject or refuse them, do so politely and apologise for the inconvenience.Continue with the above behaviour DURING the order.Bad experiences make us ALL look bad, and many people use Fiverr as their main form of income. You can potentially lose clients if you can’t even be bothered to send a proper message, and then you’ll wonder why you aren’t getting enough orders. This isn’t an attack on anyone, and I appreciate there are cultural and linguistic differences. But if you’re hoping to succeed in the market, follow some basic Seller rules that will help you get more orders and make more money. Thank you for reading!

  13. I just created this gig, and the very next day I received this text. We are a software house who builds web-based SaaS ecosystems for corporate and government clients. Our flagship product consists of the following modules; Sales Force Automation, Supply Chain Mgmt, Inventory & Stock Control, Point-of-Sales, Warehouse Mgmt, Fuel Mgmt, ECommerce, etc. Currently we are expanding into industrial and manufacturing sector and require new talents to spear head our new modules. We need strong technologists in Laravel/PHP, Bootstrap/jQuery and MariaDB, running on Linux. We require dedicated developers in industrial automation and who are skilled in Laravel backend controllers. Are you interested? I am sure whether it’s a spam or not. The person does not mention any specific name of his or his company. Also, I have never received any order on fiverr so I am not sure about it.

  16. The forum is full of new sellers desperately wanting success. Someone has told them that you just create a gig and everybody rushes to buy it … Easy money! Of course that is not the case! Selling on Fiverr is just like opening a business. Imagine you are opening a shop in a town. You would see what the competition is doing. Are they offering the same thing as you. Can you offer something different or better. Or maybe a niche that nobody else has thought of. That is called research and you must do this before doing anything. Only offer something for which you have the ability to provide a professional service. Make sure everything in your profile is accurate. Buyers are not stupid and they will see through deception and move on to buy from someone else. Your Fiverr account and your forum account are separate. Posting on the forum will not get you sales. Use the forum to read and learn from experienced forum members and sellers. Everything you need to be successful is on the forum or the Fiverr website. Beware of what you are finding elsewhere! Read, learn, take action! Good luck! 🙂

  18. Hi everyone, All of us have skills used to earn money, but our mind still needs its own time and space for other activities. What’s that passion you really feel peaceful with, in your free time? It could be Dancing, Drawing, Playing an Instrument, Photography, Videography, Sport and so on… Whatever works for you after a stressful day to free your mind. 20. 100% agree - I learnt this the hard way too, and make a point of always setting an expiry. But I only learnt this within the last year or so, and have no idea how many offers are still ‘out there’… It would be great if there were a way of quickly seeing all of your pending offers.

  21. I am helping. Unfortunately, it is not what you want to hear. You want to be told that it would take a week, and then your account would be fine and reinstated. No, it will not. You took images you did NOT create and put them on your Gig as your own. You stole, you were unscrupulous and for that, your Gigs and account will probably not be reinstated. Sorry if the truth hurts. What did you think was going to happen when you are stealing other’s work and putting it up as if you created it. How would you feel if someone were stealing your art? GG

  22. In my free time I’ve begun a traveling journal that logs the experiences of my lawyer, Shifty Horowitz. Aside from being an expert journeyman, Shifty is also a sort of dingbat theoretician. Being that you’re interested, I’d like to share a passage from one of our travels: *Aug ‘19 * Shifty greased his car seat back and struggled to find the perfect notch. The chair shook violently as he jolted it back and forth. He kept one hand firmly on the wheel but it provided me little comfort as his head was fixed downward and his anger grew at every jerk of his uncomfortable seated exchange. He was suddenly calm and his eyes locked forward into the blazing sun through our rental car window. “Comfort can’t be purchased…” he began. His voice was reserved and easy. He sounded like a man cruising at 45 on a sleepy town Main Street. I wasn’t doing as well and my reaction reflected the fear of chasing 90 miles per hour in the danger of our open road. “What!” I yelled over the cruel noise of Tom Petty on the radio. “Comfort,” he restarted, “it lives in your bedroom. It’s the right pillow. It’s the place on the floor where the chair sits perfectly. I’m talking about comfort Mooch.” Shifty’s tone was clear. It was as though the Heartbreakers knew not to play loudly over the top of him. * “Yeah? Comfort. So?” I batted away his unjustified annoyance. “Comfort dude. Comfort…” More agitated now, “ We live in this strange time of safe spaces and worried speech. Every mistake is tabulated. Nothing is a growth moment. No one can have a learning experience. We demand change and we condemn people for past actions after the fact. We pitch all this uncertainty and sadness and fear … all in the name of comfort. But we ain’t got no comfort! We make it complicated. Life and death. Right and wrong…”* Speeding uncontrollably now. The car flinching from the lines. “…that ain’t comfort hoss. That ain’t comfort and it won’t be. Comfort is the shirt you thought you’d lost. Comfort is the way she smiles in your dreams. How she used to. Comfort is a song you forgot about. It’s the towel that’s always soft. It’s free. Comfort can’t be bought in a luxury car. It can’t be cashed from emotional extortion…” Suddenly, we were spinning. Awful screams poured out of our tires And then silence. Shifty didn’t motion. His hands were relaxed on the wheel and his eyes expressed no surprise behind his midnight dark glasses. “Comfort.” He muttered to no one. Shifty opened the door and escaped the vehicle - I assumed to check on the health of his battered rental. As he surveyed the damage I couldn’t help but feel confused. What was it all about? How could it matter that deeply? It was ugly. Brutal and deranged. Suddenly Shifty appeared at the drivers side door and fired sickening shots deep into the cushions of his empty seat. He shrieked wildly, as he fired, and his face twisted into a lifelike Munchian nightmare. In the heat we let the insanity pass above us, until the air was still and the moment was gone. “Comfort.” Swiftly stated. An amused expression played over his visage and soon we would be back into the thick air from which we came… Anyways. So - just journaling and stuff. Hanging out. No biggie.

  24. Firstly, if you are new here, welcome to Fiverr Forum! Here are 3 useful Tips for how to respond to a Buyer’s Request that you might not have thought about. These Tips are mainly meant for New Sellers who need to make that first sale! TIP #1: Offer to deliver earlier than when they ask. E.g. if they want it in 2 days and you are able to deliver quality in 24 hours, that would be great. They will be pleasantly surprised. If they ask for a 24h delivery and you can deliver in 12 hours, let them know. But only if you can! Because, if they choose you among others, remember that afterwards there will be rating. TIP #2: Offer to work for a lower price than what they offer for the job. But only just a little bit lower otherwise you won’t look professional. Let them know that this is a first-time-buyer bonus. TIP #3: Use phrases from the Buyer’s add in the text of your response so that they can be reassured that you at least have actually read their description carefully. AND ask them a question in the end about what else they might need done that they have not included in the add. This way, there is a chance they will at least reply to that question. Some more Tips that you might have read elsewhere but always good to remember: Focus on the buyer’s needs and describe in your response message in which ways exactly you will solve their problems or create what they need better than anyone else. But avoid boasting. Keep it simple, and professional-friendly. Let them know that you will deliver within the deadline or earlier. They will be reassured. Don’t beg them to hire you ‘because you are in need’. Half of the planet is in need. That will be one reason why they won’t hire you. Disclaimer: Competition is big on Fiverr; we know that. Using all or some of these Tips does not mean that you will be hired immediately. Patience and an optimistic attitude can help. Keep trying and make yourself better and better in what you do every single day. Success does not come overnight, but it comes if one is committed and if one knows the job well. I hope that helps! Best wishes for success! Enjoy the ride on Fiverr! 🙂

  28. Hi guys, I need your help since customer support is not helping me. I’m not showing on search results and that’s why I’m not getting new sales. This is my only job and I’m getting really upset and frustrated because it’s been 2 months now and I need to fix this!. This is my gig https://www.fiverr.com/karyface1/design-the-best-professional-signature-text-logo Can you please take a look and tell me what I can do to improve? I know all the SEO techniques and I’m using keywords, I already did that and I promote my link on social media and websites, buyer requests… I used to be a top rated seller and made like 7,000 sales with that gig and now I’m not even showing… most of my gigs actually! Customer support only tells me to provide a nice service and use buyer requests… but how am I supposed to give a nice service if I don’t get any sales?? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

But, the buyer gets a notification after I reported to the fiver. Then the buyer doesn’t wait to report me as well without any reason just for revenge and fiver thinks we actually did. But this is is some kind of revenge that the seller facing after reporting to Fiver. What can I do? I need suggestions. is it better not to report about buyers even though they tried to communicate outside the fiver?

  39. Contact them and ask if they have a specific project in mind and if you would like them to make a custom offer for them, then see where it goes. It’s not necessarily spam. If you get messages like this also asking you to contact them outside of the platform or send them work samples so they can add you to their work directory, then you want to leave it well alone.

  41. There is no best way, it’s all individual. Even if two sellers are in the same creative niche it doesn’t mean that ways to earn are the same for them. They might have different target audience, prices etc and that already implies that best ways for them to earn money are different

  44. Hello everyone! I have read for hours here on Fiverr forum about the “Late delivery” issue. So i was wandering, I had one delivery that I finished and delivered two days before its due date, but the buyer responded two days later with the revision, which is totally fine, but it will most certanly take me one whole day to make the revisioned delivery. Now my order is in “Late” category on my dashboard but I have read here that revisions don’t affect your delivery on time rate. Could someone explain if I should be worried about this or it will not affect my ratings since it is a revision and not delivery of the first initial order? Thank you in advance and sorry about my broken english, it’s not my first language.

  45. Ad Clicks , or simply Clicks , is a marketing metric that counts the number of times users have clicked on a digital advertisement to reach an online property. Ad Impressions (IMPR) is a count of the total number of times digital advertisements display on someone’s screen within the publisher’s network.

  49. Firstly, let’s not disparage the honor of writing by labeling my free-associative, forum verbal fire as anything other than a strange pastime. But I do harbor weirdly noble, almost aristocratic ideas about professional writing like; writers write. Regardless of being a professional songwriter - I sort of subscribe to this moral belief that my job is to decipher any text, any narrative or any assignment and learn the rhythm because professional writing should extend to every medium… and I assign that task to any person proclaiming themselves to be of professional quality. All the pro songwriters I know consider themselves “pro writers.” All that said, as a father I’m big on reading. There’s so much material of prominence to distribute to your children, in such short time. Material that’s lost to time and political theater. Even the materials that were once required are now high brow conversation starters for literary circles and the culturally elite; as they’ve been pushed aside and deemed “insensitive,” or “too risky” for young minds. There’s so much to get to. The greatest way to teach them craft is to teach the masters.
