  6. If you want more orders, here’s what you need to do: You need to research, understand, and reach out to your target customers. You need to Study, Understand, and Connect. The only people who will hire you, are the people who need your services. So, if you want them to hire you, you need to understand who they are, what they like, and and what they need. Then, you need to determine how your valuable skills can solve their needs. I’ll say that again – THEIR NEEDS, not your needs – not what you want. THEIR needs. And, once you’ve done those things, then you need to find creative ways to connect to those target customers, and show them why you are the best person, with the right skills, to help them complete their projects. You are not here for you. You are not here to get rich. You are here to HELP OTHER PEOPLE. The more successful you become at helping others, the more those people will trust you, respect you, and want to work with you again and again. Fiverr is not a get-rich-quick website. It is a help-buyers-get-done marketplace. You are either here to work… or here to watch. You also need to realize that you are competing against thousands of other sellers, all of whom are offering the same exact services you offer. If you aren’t getting the kind of sales you want, then maybe those other sellers are doing a better job reaching the same customers you want. You are not guaranteed orders just because you want them, and you are not guaranteed orders just because you have gigs here on Fiverr. If you want to improve your odds of being a marketable seller – study your competition. Figure out what works for them, and find ways to make those things work for you too. Most importantly, DO NOT blindly imitate other sellers. DO NOT copy-paste what they write. DO NOT steal their gig images. Be you. Be unique. Buyers do not hire copycats. They hire original sellers who know how to stand out because of who they are – unique sellers who exude confidence, and can prove their abilities. Your target customers want to hire the best person for their job. Is that best person you, or is that best person your competition? Study. Understand. Connect. This is how you earn orders. This is how you find success.

  9. Hello Everyone, Today i am gonna give you some suggestions about “how to write a good offer” in buyer request section! First of all, i am telling you i am not a pro-seller here, there are so many experienced seller here. I am just writing the experience about mine. I got so many orders from buyer request so i am sharing this for new seller so that it might helps them. Buyer request is an important thing to get order, especially for new seller. It helps in two ways. like, If you send 10 offer to the buyer daily, then it makes a possibility to get new order.buyer may visit your profile and if daily 10 buyer visit your profile or gig then you get a good gig impression, views, clicks on your gig and it helps your gig to rank. Now, The question is how to write a good offer?? Its an important question. being lazy, we always made a wrong that we don’t want to understand what buyer actually wants!! we have a preserved written offer and we do always copy and paste it. Please don’t do this! Now, Let’s point out how to write a offer!! First thing we have to notice on the buyer request carefully because sometimes buyer puts a keyword to his request that to write a word before your offer. so we have to be very careful. Then, we have to understand what actually buyer need? Write about, how you want to implement the work. What is needed from your buyer to start work. Send the work samples what you have done before. That’s it, very simple, Please don’t write the same thing for every buyer(copy & paste). That’s all for today! Best of luck!

  11. I think I posted something similar last year around this month, I think it was “What was a scary movie that traumatized you as a kid?” type of title. Halloween is coming soon, so I’ll start a new one. So…what movie scared you as a kid, or as an adult? When I was a kid, Child’s Play scared me. The idea of a doll moving around with a knife horrified me. Now that I am taller and heavier, all I need to do is stomp that damn doll on the head. Still though, even as an adult, that doll still creeps me out. I remember watching Stir of Echoes with my room mate back in college, that was pretty scary. I think my room mate was more scared than I was though, he followed me around in the apartment after the movie because he said “he didn’t want to be alone.” (He was 23 years old at the time.)

  15. Since the Emoji Game Round 4 is at 473 posts, it is time to start round 5 ⭐ Rules: Someone will think of a word, compound word, phrase, or sentence and create a code for it by using only emojis. Then post it for others to solve. Respond by: Guessing the compound word, short phrase, or sentence the emojis signifies. If you solve the emoji puzzle, then you can use emojis to make your compound word, phrase, or sentence for the next person to guess. It can be a place, an animal, the title of a movie, a saying, a book, or whatever you like best. Then convert your thought into emojis.Continuing from the last game, @imagination7413 had created this puzzle. 🦸 Let the play begin! Good luck 🍀 to all!

  16. I’m really shocked how simple your gig can be kicked from 1st to the last page  One week ago I noticed that my gig (which was on the 1st page of category) began to loose impressions. And after few days it was dropped to the last page (10th-15th). But when I opened 1st page I’ve noticed a new seller on the same position where my gig was. I checked his profile and gig description and found that it is partial copy of my gig. I also researched his gig through web archive and found that at the beginning he copied ALL my entire description WORD by WORD (even bold & highlighted text) I opened a ticket in CS and provided all proofs (including screenshots, web archive cache, etc). And guess what - CS answered that it is ok and they can’t do anything with it. Now this guy has “Fiverr’s Choice” badge - it is like a very bad joke. 17. Hi everyone! I am a voiceover artist and writer in Canada. I launched my VO gig on Fiverr just over a month ago and it’s certainly been a fun journey filled with learning curves, surprises, and joy! I’m excited to keep developing my account while never ceasing to learn more and more. Although I’ve been reading the forum and learning a lot from other sellers’ (and buyers’) posts, I didn’t set up my forum account until a few days ago. I’m certainly glad that I finally joined this knowledgeable and supportive community!😍 I am very excited to share my experiences and continue to learn from others using this platform!😊 Cheers!

  28. Is there any way we can set notificatiosn for new buyer requests? 😄 The requests in my account stay only for like a minute and then disappear. 😐 PS: sad thing that I was a level 2 seller but just because I had to cancel an order, my order completion rate went down to 80% and I was degraded to level 0 in 2 months and now my buyer requests do not stay for any longer than a minute.

  29. Most of us usually try to reply our client with some templates for common messages. This is the common mistake we do always. Fiverr clients are different from other Marketplace, because they come to solve for their small issues or fix specific issues so we all need to focus on clients requirement, and based on their requirement we need to reply our clients. Usually small reply with one by one of his questions or issues bring good result always. You can show some of your previous clients live site sample as your portfolio. And you can focus Yourself by specifying clients about your unique qualifications. Thanks // WebBattalion

  33. Hello guys, I want your opinion on gig editing. I’m working on Fiverr for the last 5 years. If you’re doing a good job for your buyers. Fiverr will rank your gig one day. But what after your gig is ranked? Your gig ranking may change according to your cancellation rate, and customer satisfaction. During this period if you edit your gig, Fiverr will drop your ranking to the initial stage. If you really want to edit your gig, just change your gig title and search tags a bit. Last time my gig ranking was dropped. So, I edited my gig title, search tags, packages, description, and portfolio. Seriously??? Now, it’s been two months my gig impressions are below 30/day:( ZERO new order… Please don’t forget to share your opinion, looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks for your time!!!

  46. I work on weekends at the office. I don’t really have a “day off-day off.” I take a break when I can, and work when I can! 😅 On a completely different note, I think the pumpkin spice lates are available back in Starbucks in the states and other areas? We don’t have that in Japan…I guess I’ll have to make my own.

  47. Hey @michele_pittman - a warm welcome from a fellow writer here. Let me spare you some struggle! Consider dropping your editing gig(s). I totally get wanting to offer a wide range of services, but if you’re doing any amount of rolling up your sleeves, even on a 500-worder, I think if you watch the clock you’ll find you’re spending longer on the fix than you would writing from scratch. It’s almost always a losing bet, profit-wise. You might be an outlier there in terms of effort-to-earning ratio, but if you’re on the fence about it at all, I’d say drop it/them. You’re charging too little for a fluent, English, US-based writer. Having all three here is an anomaly (it shouldn’t be, but it is!) and you should charge accordingly. Remember that Fiverr takes a 20% chunk out, so you’re writing a 500 word piece and, when all is said and done, you’re making 1.6 cents a word for your work, and that’s way too low! Double your rates and stick by them. Check my other posts for advice on dealing with pushy clients that want a discount for existing. 😉 Double your rates, then increase them 50% when you make level 1, etc. Do not offer “unlimited” anything. To our American eyes, it reads as “a reasonable amount of requests,” but trust me when I tell you that a foreign client is going to take advantage of that. They’re going to take it literally and dangle a bad review over your head to keep you working at ‘improving’ something until you’re practically paying them in effort-to-earning ratio. Decide on a number - I would suggest 1 or 2, emphasizing that you deliver a quality product the first time. Without that restriction in place, you also don’t have a leg to stand on if there’s ever a buyer dispute on Fiverr - they can simply point to the fact you promised “unlimited” revisions and keep the con going. You have zero examples of your work on your gigs. What can I expect, as a buyer? All I have to go on is your gig text and your bio, and if neither have anything to do with my job, well…? Take some screenshots of previous work you’re proud of and get them up there!
