  6. It’s been 7 days since I reported a seller for threatening to take down my site if I do not pay directly to Paynoor. I’ve reported the messages, the screenshots of the messages, and his profile. Nothing. I rather leave 150 in escrow or received chocolate tokens than to have the seller receive a swift smell of 1 copper penny. My problem is why have this happen to someone else? (The sellers don’t make Fiverr money, the buyers do.) CORRECTION: It is about SCAMMERS. Our dreams and goals are put on hold because a company we trust to connect business owners with freelances are not putting the buyers first nor going by their own guidelines they set for us. I’m going to have to find a different site. Please share your experiences because I’m going to the media outlets with this. This company started in 2010 I’ve been here from the beginning and I’m just appalled at this moment and the past 7 days.

  14. I read a lot of wonderful posts here but never contributed much. So, in this post, I’ll share my insights for what I’ve learned in my Fiverr journey and how can you get more orders if you are a new and level 1 seller. A little about myself first- I am a 27 yr old digital marketer and joined Fiverr last September. I’ve been jumping forth and back from New Seller to Level 1 (credit to the order completion rate). I still don’t make much from Fiverr, it’s around $150-$200/month but it pays some of my bills and I have gained good experience working with clients. I want to mention one more thing that all my orders directly come from Fiverr search and I’ve never promoted my Gigs anywhere (except for a couple of times in my Twitter account which wasn’t of any help). Now, getting to the purpose of this post. What should you do to get more orders- 1. Don’t make the same Gigs which is already available by hundreds of other sellers. The best example I could think of is web development, SEO, social media marketing etc. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying to not make Gigs in competitive niches. What I am saying is to find a “GAP”. What I mean by this is that your Gig should have a ‘freshness’ and ‘uniqueness’ in it. So, how do you do it? Think, be creative, explore Fiverr, write down what can be done differently, can you think of something that isn’t covered by other sellers or the quality of sellers are not good in any particular area or can you think of any micro-niche? Let’s take my own example- Before making my “Product Research Gig”. I searched Fiverr for this term. After some time, I realized that there are many Gigs about product research but not about finding supplier details. So, I made this my Gig title, “I will find winning products for your store with supplier details”. Today, whatever I make, 70% of my income comes from this single Gig. Example of a micro-niche- Maybe don’t go for “I will build you a great website”. Go for “I will make you a Shopify website”. Even better is “I will make you a great beauty store in Shopify”. Finally, do a lot of test and trial. Maybe you can find the winning Gig the first time or in the 20th time. But if you consistently think, test and try then you’ll get there. 2. The only goal you should have right now is to get a few good reviews in your Gigs. Even if it means, getting underpaid. Don’t think about money for the first few orders. Do whatever is necessary and make the buyer happy. You might not like it but it is the first step to get consistent stream of orders. 3. Every level of sellers has its own buyer’s category. Believe it or not, many people look for new sellers for their work. For example- When I was just starting out, I only get people who are pretty straightforward about their requirement and wanted the work to be done at a cheap price. Sometimes I wondered, I didn’t sign up for these menial works. I wanted good work and good money. But it’s a phase. As you advance, the quality of clients and money will increase. 4. Upload video in your Gigs. Believe me, it will massively increase your click-through rate. You don’t have to hire someone. Just take out your phone, think about what you are offering and shoot up a 40-60 second video. I am massively shy when it comes to taking pictures let alone upload a minute-long video. But I did it and I am getting more clicks resulting in more orders than before. 5. Tip to turn an enquiry into order Hone your listening skill. if you get an enquiry, read it twice maybe thrice and try to understand what the buyer want. If the buyer wants ‘A’ don’t push them for ‘B’. Don’t try to outsmart the buyer, understand him/her and type a straightforward response. “Yes, I can do that”. After that, shoot up a question to the buyer. Once they answer, shoot up another one and maybe one after this. Make sure the questions are genuine. What will happen most of time is buyer will involve in a deep conversation with you. They will get a feeling that you are taking their project seriously (which you are) and they won’t take the trouble to explain all of this again to a different seller. And you will close the deal with most of the inquiries. Not to mention, that you will get a much better understanding of the requirement resulting in fewer revisions and cancellation. 6. Getting good reviews No matter what, maintain the quality of your work. Nothing will work if you don’t provide top-notch service. Finally, once you submit the order. Always tell the buyer to contact you if they need any sort of revisions and you will be happy to do it. It will save you from the bad reviews. That’s all folks! I wrote whatever I thought might prove useful to my fellow new and level 1 sellers. If you like what you read then please like and share the post. It will inspire me to write more.

  25. Hello Everyone, Today i am gonna give you some suggestions about “how to write a good offer” in buyer request section! First of all, i am telling you i am not a pro-seller here, there are so many experienced seller here. I am just writing the experience about mine. I got so many orders from buyer request so i am sharing this for new seller so that it might helps them. Buyer request is an important thing to get order, especially for new seller. It helps in two ways. like, If you send 10 offer to the buyer daily, then it makes a possibility to get new order.buyer may visit your profile and if daily 10 buyer visit your profile or gig then you get a good gig impression, views, clicks on your gig and it helps your gig to rank. Now, The question is how to write a good offer?? Its an important question. being lazy, we always made a wrong that we don’t want to understand what buyer actually wants!! we have a preserved written offer and we do always copy and paste it. Please don’t do this! Now, Let’s point out how to write a offer!! First thing we have to notice on the buyer request carefully because sometimes buyer puts a keyword to his request that to write a word before your offer. so we have to be very careful. Then, we have to understand what actually buyer need? Write about, how you want to implement the work. What is needed from your buyer to start work. Send the work samples what you have done before. That’s it, very simple, Please don’t write the same thing for every buyer(copy & paste). That’s all for today! Best of luck!

  28. Hello, Can anyone tell me how to active all day in Fiverr? I used auto-refresh extensions to active at all times but recently I know that Fiverr doesn’t support it. You all guys know that all-time active is most important to get more and more orders. So how can I active all time without breaking support Fiverr terms and conditions. I am really concerned about it. Thanks in advance

  30. No, it’s not. Nor it’s “important” neither it helps. It’s one of the myths that inexperienced sellers keep telling to each other. You actually might only hurt yourself if client would think that you are online when in reality you are not.

  31. I just received a notification saying I was chosen to test the paid promotion feature with $10 off. I think a lot of people might be interested in this feature so I might keep this updated to see how it works. Though I’m not 100% sure how much I am actually allowed to share regarding this feature. Quickly about me in case this matters: I’m Level 2, more or less close to meeting the requirements for a top rated seller. They auto-selected my best selling gig as the one to be promoted. As far as I can see, you need to bid against all the other eligible sellers in your category to “win” the ad-sponsored spot: “A bid is a maximum amount you’d be willing to pay per click on your ad. The higher the bid, the higher the chances to win your ad spot. However, you’ll pay just the minimum to win over other bids. You can adjust your bid from your Promoted Gigs dashboard later.” They also set a “recommended amount” per day for you. For me it’s $0.66 per day based on my category it seems. This would probably mean that sellers in smaller niches would be rewarded by lower fees while oversaturated categories would probably cost more since more sellers would be able to bid.

  34. Make sure that all the images and artwork in your gigs and portfolio are your own. Remove all that are not. And keep in mind that, if someone reports you for using images/artwork that’s not yours, you could get an account warning, or get permanently banned from Fiverr.

  35. Hello there. I’m a new seller. But not so new. I have worked little bit like completed 16 orders with 15 reviews with 5 star rattings. But I’m not getting new orders for long time. I’m always active. But don’t know why I’m not getting orders or messages. Somehow came to know about gig seo. That’s why I’m here. Hope will get some help from you all. The main reason is to work as you all know, that’s the main reason to be at fiverr. So hope you will help me out with this. Thank you.

  36. My Fiver Gig was ranking in the 1st page 1st row for several months till last week. Now I can see my fiver gig has suddenly dropped from 1st page to 8-9th page of “market research” keyword search. Anyone is facing similar problems? How did you overcome this?

  40. Hi Everyone, I hope you all are doing great. so everything was great, i had many orders but one day i was infected by corona, a very unfortunate day. It destroyed my Fiverr career. I was asked to leave my house and shift to a quarantine center for 28 Days (14 Days active + 14 Days Passive). Quarantine center was away from city with very bad internet connectivity. I work on my PC which i high end i don’t have a high end laptop yet which can help me in creating graphics quickly. I took an old laptop with me to work from the quarantine center. I had over 14 Orders that Day. All orders got delayed i couldn’t even come on mobile to ask for extending the delivery time. My Gig was listed on first page but now its no where. Covid Ended my Fiverr Career. I have No Job now. I am going through a lot of stress. My savings will help me survive only 2 more months. No other place to share these so i posted here. Thanks For your time. Stay Safe Roshanekka

  41. Hello, I do video editing. I have doubts about the use of royalty-free music. There are many sites that sell royalty-free music. We are going to talk about the specific case of Epidemicsound. If I purchase Epidemicsound’s monthly service, can I use a piece of music in an advertising video? My question is: I know that if you have a YouTube channel, you can use all the music from Epidemicsound, but if you ever stop paying for the service the music is no longer yours and you cannot have your YouTube videos with their music. That is to say that somehow they “rent” the use of music from you. In the same way, I wonder how is the issue regarding the use of music for videos of advertising that will be shown in social networks. Also, I have another question: YouTube has free music rights, and several of them allow the use without even clarifying who the author is. That royalty free music can be used in an advertisement? I think so, but I don’t know for sure. Please, whoever knows what the subject of music is like, share it with everyone. Thank you very much!

  42. Hello, I do video editing. I have several potential buyers asking me to sign a MUTUAL NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMEN. I’m scared to sign anything, to be honest. But on the other hand I understand that they feel safer if I sign. Would you do it? Please share on your personal experiences and opinions. I think it is a topic that may interest many. Thank you very much!

  43. Stop spamming. Nobody in those groups cares about you, your gigs, or your spam. Do NOT share your gig on social media unless you know what you’re doing. Pro tip - if you’re reading this, there’s a 95% chance you do not know what you’re doing.

  44. Well, not sure why it needs 6 tickets though, that might indeed have slowed down things, respectively cost your tickets some spots in the support queue. I’d choose the category that covers the worst thing/s (that would be ToS violation for both threatening to take down your site, and demanding direct payment, and whatever else the seller may have done that’s against Tos; that doesn’t need a separate report for every separate ToS violation IMO, should be far better if that’s all under the same ticket, so the same agent can see everything at one glance), and since it’s about the same order # and seller, I’d put all the “minor things” like wanting to cancel and be refunded in there as well, so the same person will look into it and treat it as “one case”, which it is, after all, even if there are different aspects. I’d assume that ToS violations category has more priority in the support queue too, so it would make sense to use that for your case, especially as the “threatened to take down my site and I freaked out” bit is urgent (but, yes, that’s not something Fiverr can actively do anything against, you should change your password, so the seller won’t have access, for a bit more peace of mind, and Fiverr can take action on their part by suspending the seller). Personally, I’d close all not so relevant tickets myself now, if any are still open, and just use the most relevant one, and update that 1 ticket with other relevant info regarding that same order and seller that may be spread over the other tickets, so they have anything of importance, and anything you want from them in the same place. Then, you can either be patient (but remember to change your site’s password if you haven’t yet!), or you can try what apparently some people do, send a direct email to support with the ticket number (the one of the remaining 1 ticket), or tweet them and ask them to look into your case because it’s urgent. I don’t know in how far that will help, because probably everyone says it’s urgent, but probably not everyone contacts them outside of the ticket system, so maybe it can speed things up a little. A calm tone and an as precise but as short as possible account of things, while not leaving out anything important, and attaching any relevant “proof” (screenshots) should help.
