  1. After so many days of waiting Finally Fiverr has added the Gig Analysis. Thoug it’s not showing on Fiverr mobile app. Also it’s not fully done, as like the last time the “UP” and “DOWN” arrow is not showing even Fiverr wrote a note that “Your Gig analytics are back! View your impressions, clicks, and views. You’ll be able to access your complete analytics data soon” so that means the process is on going and may be sellers can controll the analyics also. Let’s see what happen… Untitled21327×537 43.7 KB

  6. I know this has been said before, but I’d like to reiterate some new features that will benefit all users on this platform. Point #1:Since practically everyone here have 5 ⭐ reviews, it’s useless. Trying to find a 5 star seller is like trying to find 🍺 in a crowded bar. It’s everywhere. What would be helpful is if you’d color code (or some other distinguishing method) to signify the type of review. As an example: Red for orders over $50Green for orders over $100Blue for orders over $250etc.How is this useful? As a serious buyers, when I purchase a $10 article for, let’s say 250 words, I don’t expect research of any kind and the bare minimum. If there are a few typos, as long as it’s coherent and flows well, I give 5 stars. If a $200 article writer gives me same quality, it’ll be a different review. Sometimes, I want quick and easy, other times I want quality. Filtering reviews by the amount makes it easier for me and less chance of getting scammed. Point #2:I think the cancellation % and # should be displayed on both buyer & freelancer’s profile. A potential client with high cancellation rate is a bad sign. It would give the freelancer a quick gauge not to work with him/her. A freelancer with high cancellation is a bad sign that the client will waste their time. It’s a win - win for both party. Thank you.

  7. I’ve had my first bad experience with a Fiverr buyer - and Fiverr’s customer support have just made it 10 times worse. I’ve delivered the job exactly as set out - I won’t go into too many details but the guy wasn’t happy because he didn’t get a reaction on his website. We’re not an SEO company and we don’t state that we will give people a website reaction so I wasn’t really able to understand why he thought he should be getting that. I explained this but he asked for me to carry out the job again free of charge. I told him I’d need to put out a custom order. He got very angry, refused delivery, told me again he wanted a freebie, and when I kept refusing he finally delivered, so he could leave me my first one star review (in 750 reviews). THEN he complains to Fiverr, saying I gave him an empty delivery, and he gets a refund. So I’ve been robbed, and I get demoted! So FIVERR why are you taking his word for it without checking with me to see if he’s lying to you or not? This guy has got his job for free and I’ve lost a level. Who thinks this is fair?

  10. Kinda put myself on here a few days ago and realized I wasn’t immediately selling gigs right away. (Not that I expected that of course, but I thought I’d get at least one or two orders) What do you artists do specifically to sell your gigs?

  11. What “hard work” are you encouraging him to do? If you’re going to offer advice, you need to be more specific. To be helpful, you need to provide insight into what you think the OP needs to do in order to be successful.

  12. Hi I am a buyer and trying to pay a gig using monzo and revolut, but it keeps getting refunded immediately by fiverr. I spoke to the card companies and they said they have approved it and the issue is with fiverr. I contacted fiverr support team over two days ago and still haven’t heard back. I am really wanting to get the gig started as it is a big project taking two weeks with a website developer, so the clock is ticking! Any tips and advice? Greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  13. The ones that you are good at. If you are a designer then offer design services. If you are good at voice overs then sell voice overs. Simple as that. People who are professional in their field always will be in demand

  14. The wording is arrogant. Even if the buyer offered $1500, which is more in keeping with the price of that job - I wouldn’t be interested. But we all know that people will apply for $5.

  15. Just got another one … 😛 Only the second one today … I am getting worried about them. On the other hand, they have increased my gig impressions by 700% since they started spamming me a few weeks ago. EDIT: Oh, noooooooo!!! He wants to cancel the order that he didn’t place!

  16. For those of us that have got the analytics back for their gigs, and have gone through the analytics what have you noticed? Were the impressions and clicks what you expected with respect to your orders? Did you notice a a difference in conversion rate? I am curious to hear everyones analysis about what they experienced and how that experienced lined up with their analytics.

  17. What a horrible buyer (scammer). I am sorry that you had to deal with him. I would leave him a negative review and then block him immediately. It would help warn other sellers, and, hopefully, it would be more difficult for him to exploit sellers again. You don’t have to be afraid of leaving a negative review for him. If you block him, you don’t have to deal with him again, and it is important that you show that you are no push-over and that he suffers the consequences of his actions.

  18. Buyer requests are not a magic trick. It’s just one of the tools that new sellers can use. Some can’t even profit from buyer requests. The main point is to be good at what you are doing and don’t rely only on BR or fiverr algorithm to get you orders.

  19. Suggest you read the Terms of Service at the bottom of the Fiverr main page where everything is explained in great detail. Congratulations on getting your first order! 🙂

  20. I already advised you on the kind of responses you should be sending. There are no easy ways to earn orders, nor are orders guaranteed anywhere on the site. The best thing I can advise is for you to give more personalized thought to the responses you send, and work to be the best seller the buyer should hire. Keep in mind too, you are competing against many other sellers who are also sending responses to that same buyer. If you want to win an order, you need to have a rock-solid offer, and you need to be personal and personable.

  23. I know it’s voluntary and it may actually be cool to help and shape a product we use on a daily basis, but as a freelancer working on a freelancer platform it doesn’t sit well with me that Fiverr wouldn’t offer to pay for people’s time. Taken from a platform that facilitates to schedule and pay for expert advice over the phone So using this average we’d only be talking about $500 to engage 10 users for 30 minutes of their time each, and that’s peanuts for a company this size. A suggestion would be to credit participant’s accounts so they can use it on Fiverr. The money still stays on the platform while offering them a compensation for their time. I don’t have a problem doing certain activities for free, or with people that decide to do it as the way I see it can actually be a nice experience, but it does bother me Fiverr wouldn’t be more proactive about offering a monetary compensation considering the business they are in. With that being said I do hope it works out well and it somehow help everyone experience on the website better.

  25. Hello Everyone, Today i am gonna give you some suggestions about “how to write a good offer” in buyer request section! First of all, i am telling you i am not a pro-seller here, there are so many experienced seller here. I am just writing the experience about mine. I got so many orders from buyer request so i am sharing this for new seller so that it might helps them. Buyer request is an important thing to get order, especially for new seller. It helps in two ways. like, If you send 10 offer to the buyer daily, then it makes a possibility to get new order.buyer may visit your profile and if daily 10 buyer visit your profile or gig then you get a good gig impression, views, clicks on your gig and it helps your gig to rank. Now, The question is how to write a good offer?? Its an important question. being lazy, we always made a wrong that we don’t want to understand what buyer actually wants!! we have a preserved written offer and we do always copy and paste it. Please don’t do this! Now, Let’s point out how to write a offer!! First thing we have to notice on the buyer request carefully because sometimes buyer puts a keyword to his request that to write a word before your offer. so we have to be very careful. Then, we have to understand what actually buyer need? Write about, how you want to implement the work. What is needed from your buyer to start work. Send the work samples what you have done before. That’s it, very simple, Please don’t write the same thing for every buyer(copy & paste). That’s all for today! Best of luck!

  26. So I’ve just received a 5 $ direct order where the buyer attached a .dll file. I could already tell this was a virus but a quick google search confirmed it. Of course I didn’t click on it. Watch out sellers and don’t click on just any file you receive! virus636×860 42 KB

  27. I’m (hopefully) coming towards the end of a job that has been quite unpleasant. Just to summarise a few details, the buyer first approached me for a sample and said he was ‘very happy’ with the quality of my work, so he placed his order. The work was complete and he said everything was fine except one small revision he forgot to ask me to do. I completed this, then to my surprise a couple of days later he requested to cancel with the reason ‘the quality of my work was poor’. I refused to accept as he’d already acknowledged the quality of my work and said everything was fine other than the extra revision which was a simple edit. Since then it’s been one drama after another. When he realised he couldn’t force a cancellation, he apologised and asked me to continue revising his work, which I was very happy about. He then delivered all new instructions and 30 new files which weren’t part of the original order. I told him this wasn’t part of the order and I hadn’t quoted him for this, and I’d need to do this work from scratch and spend at least a couple of hours on it. He insisted I do it stating some personal issues and said he was struggling with Covid/lockdown, so I should do the new work out of sympathy. To cut a long story short I offered him a small extra ($15) and told him if he accepted I would work with his new files and instructions as I wanted to compromise and not have a cancellation against me. Thankfully he agreed. I’ve now finished the work and about to submit. I was wondering if he’d try cancelling again, but he’s asked for something additional again. I’ve told him I’ll be happy to do it, but as it’s not part of this order, he’d have to accept the order, then I’ll deliver the extra to him via a message which I’m very happy to do. He gets what he wants, and it means he’ll hopefully accept the delivery. My question is do I leave a bad review? Personally I would rather not. I’ve left 367 reviews up until now and every single one has been a 5-star review. Even if there’s been a slight issue with an order, it’s always been resolved. But after so many problems with this order, dishonesty from the buyer, spending hours trying to reason and negotiate, talk to customer support, etc, I don’t want to leave a review saying everything was good. I could just not leave a review, which I would probably prefer to do, but I feel if sellers aren’t honest about these types of experiences, then we have no way of knowing whether a buyer is dishonest or could be unpleasant to work with. I’d be grateful for all thoughts and opinions.

  28. Do exactly what the buyer wants. Just make sure your audience knows that their real talents lie in trying to scam people on Fiverr to get free PR. That should get them some viral attention. It’s not ideal. However, my own experience with this is that you only win in these situations when you fight fire with whatever nuclear weapons you happen to have at your disposal. You won’t get your money, but you will receive a heavy dose of twisted satisfaction.

  34. May I ask why you wouldn’t want to leave him a review? I understand what you’re saying and I am the same myself: If I don’t like the experience with a buyer, I simply don’t take any new orders from them and don’t leave a review. It would take a lot for me to give a bad review, but I draw the line at dishonesty and rude behavior. Off of the top of my head I remember 4 orders which I thought deserved a bad review (2 stars maximum). 3 of them were clearly awful buyers and they didn’t leave me a review, probably knowing what my review of them would be like. The last one was a returning client, we had 10 orders with no problem whatsoever, but the 11th was a nightmare, so much so that I couldn’t wait to leave a review about that order. Order closed and I point and blank told him I would no longer be working with him. Instead of reviewing him instantly, I sat on it for a couple of days, at which point I wasn’t that bothered anymore and just let it go. So that’s my advice: Give it a couple of days, and if you still feel they’re deserving of a bad review, by all means just do it, but if not…just move on.

  45. The best response is a personal one that directly addresses the needs of the buyer, and shows how you are the best person for that buyer to hire. There are no guarantees for quick responses. The buyers are allowed to control the process, and select whomever they feel best fits their needs and interests.

Most of the time when we do larger scale user testing and feedback sessions we include compensation. On the other side, we want to try to engage the internal employees who don’t always interact with community members and encourage them to have active relationships with the seller & buyer communities. This is one of the smaller events we’re hosting to start building those bonds. If both groups find value in this activity, then we’d like to continue and evolve the program that would begin to include compensation.

  50. No, no, no. You need to write the response. I’m sure @jonbaas and @vibronx and myself could write some very compelling responses on your behalf - but what would this achieve? It would only trick the buyer into accepting the proposal - and none of us want that. The moment the buyer receives your work or has any further communication with you then they will realise that something is wrong and potentially cancel the order. Sellers have to survive using their own skills.
