  1. I think it’d be good if we refrained from any kind of political/religious references on the forum. It’d be awesome, in fact. These are potentially inflammatory topics and they get interesting discussions closed for no reason just because people can’t help themselves. That said, I vote for Frank. Go Frank. PS Oh, and coerdelion as well.

  3. I wasn't the first720×1024 40 KBThis post is meant for two types of sellers out there on fiverr 1.to the “good sellers” who always take time to read a buyer request, understand what they are asking, and then reply back to them only if they are capable of doing that job. You have good news brothers, this is the proof that ,being the first reply has nothing more than being the best reply. Keep up the good work buddies. 2.to the “brainless sellers” who use precast replies, “Oh sure ,I can do that ,Iam the best ,boost is the secret of my energy, east or west reply must…” See for yourself, nobody is going to reply Kindly stop the madness, try to understand the buyer’s needs. Never accept any job if you can’t handle. The more you reply to strange jobs The more they will appear in your requests What you are good at ,should be what you offer. Hope you all got my point.

  5. Ok, let me get it straight: you want to get an attention of moderators and fiverr staff to the fact that you are looking for the ways to game the system and appear online when you are not online?

  6. Your profile and gigs are always available for buyers to view even if you are not online.

  7. I use fiverr app and I always keep my DATA ON. But after some minutes fiverr app automatically offline my account. I check it and 100% sure, my gig automatically offline. I saw everyone tells keep active, also sometimes I said it to others. But we don’t logically we can’t do it. But I thought we can do it keep DATA ON. But it can’t. 😁

  8. If you have proof that the review is unfair or untrue, you can try reaching out to Customer Support and explain your situation. They can be sympathetic to newbies sometimes. If it’s an honest review that reflects the buyer’s experience accurately, it’ll stay forever. Fiverr doesn’t remove reviews just because you don’t want them there.

  9. It is just matter of patience. You should not reduce your price or change anything drastically if what you have gave you this momentum. Logo market is over saturated with both skilled and unskilled sellers and it is hard to get orders in that field. Economy is still recovering slowly and all we have to do is “survive” until things get better and be patient. I hope you have additional options for income. Either way, you should never count exclusively on Fiverr for financial support. The market is not stable enough for that. Take care.

  10. I think you not clearly understand my question. I am not game with the system. If you are worry about my word telling “get moderators attention” I will edit topic. I mean, everyone tells keep active. Logically it can’t do it. And i thought if we are keep ON our DATA connection Fiverr filter can show us online. Maybe I am wrong. But it is my idea. Even it stupid. And if you are keep active in fiverr you need to do two things. keep screen on 24 hours andkeep data onIf we need to show our gig in online section we need to do both of that same time. 😁 Oh I did clearly understand your question. You want to stay online 24/7 because you read somewhere on the forum that staying online will help you to get orders. And I’m telling you that IT IS trying to game a system. Staying online has nothing to do with gig ranking, getting orders etc. Exactly no one can do it and that’s why fiverr doesn’t keep you online. Trying to stay online when you are not is gaming the system. Though in reality it doesn’t have any affect.

  12. Hi everyone, I have just counterparts a problem, which is much worried for me now. I was doing good on Fiverr getting responses and orders but suddenly consecutively two buyers placed the orders which cannot be feasible to do. They have not even initiated any conversation before placing the order. Due to this, the one order is cancelled by me and the other by mutual cancellation, which had taken my rating to 75% from 100%. I am so worried everything was going good. Can you please suggest the best solution for this. What is my mistake in this? Please I am looking forward to discussing with you guys. Thanks

  13. Moderators help ensure the success of your community by monitoring user activity and flagged items. This forum would not be what it is without active volunteers helping monitor and moderate conversations that happen here. Over the last few years, there have been some amazing moderators who have, and continue to volunteer their time to help ensure that this community stays on task and conversations here are helpful and civil. @wp_kid - @annai80 - @fonthaunt - @sue_mcl - @eoinfinnegan to name a few rockstars. And it’s time we add more people to help us take this community to the next level. I’d love to be able to put together a moderation coalition of many sellers (and buyers) who represent many categories, countries, time zones and view points as this represents Fiverr as a whole. While the platform (Discourse) has a lot of “self moderating” features built into it already, some human contact is always a good thing. Community members have been able to flag and report improper posts and comments. As well as the built in level system that have limits on posting. Would you be a good fit to be a moderator? You are active on the forum and have civil, helpful comments & posts. You are an active Fiverr Seller or Buyer and have an account in good standing with Fiverr. The tone of your posts are personable, helpful and welcoming. You’re able to jump in and commit to moderating 10-15 min blocks, at least 3-4 days per week.Benefits: Helping out & grow the community. The rising tide lifts all boats.“Direct” access to employees at fiverr via a Community Slack Channel.Exposure (I hate listing this as a benefit to freelancers, but it’s true)Sometimes swag & gifts (when I can get budget for it)You get to join a community of moderators!PHENOMENAL COSMIC (forum) POWERS! The application form is pretty simple. Keep in mind that we do have access to all your posts & selling history, so we will be vetting each application for both selling habits and Forum activity. I’ll keep this open until June 1st. Good luck to everyone who applies and I hope to see many applications. Feel free to check out the Community Standards & Forum Rules - 2020 if you have questions about WHAT is moderated and if you have any questions, please post below. docs.google.com Fiverr Forum Moderation ApplicationFor those interested in becoming a moderator on the forum.

  15. Hello new People, Welcome to the Fiverr world. How you guys are passing your valuable time on Fiverr? So today, I would like to talk about a few tips that can help you to increase your sales on Fiverr marketplace. ## what you should follow to increase your sell >> => Share your gig on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, Instagram, etc (remember that: don’t post as spam, because if you post continuously on social media sites like as spam, then your account will be suspended. be careful)… => Share your gig on Various Blog, Forum, Article sites (so to share your gig on those sites at first you write a good post so that visitors can interest to read your status and include your gig link within that post or article). => Chose or find a Good searchable Title for your gig so that it can be easily rank up when someone searches on Fiverr. => Write everything that you can do and what your skills in your gig description. => Make an attractive gig thumbnail image that will attract clients to buy your gig. => Always try to login Fiverr apps or PC so that buyers can easily find who is online now and it will increase the chances to get a sale. => And Finally send buyer request daily with an excellent cover letter. ## What you shouldn’t do on Fiverr.>> => Don’t use the buyer request option to post your service because this option is only for buyers who want to buy something from Fiverr. => Don’t be late to reply to the messages that come from a new client because if you failed to reply within 1 hour, your response rate will be decreased. => Never Try to ask your buyer to give you feedback about your work, it’s strictly against Fiverr rules. => Don’t copy-paste cover letter sent to your gig offer in buyer request when you will send it to your buyer. => Don’t share your personal information with your buyer like phone no, sk,ype, email, etc. I hope these tips will be helpful for you to increase your sell and update with Fiverr forum, blog to get new updates and new rules about Fiverr. 19. And second, this, If I am talking about the “bizarre notion” why you reply to this topic. It is my idea. I didn’t know it is your property. I thought Fiverr rank our gig when we are in online. So, I need to confirm is it true. And @mariashtelle1 tells, keep online is not affect gig rank. But @uk1000 tells, It can happen. I told I only need to know, keep online will increase our gig rank. And any children know if our gig comes to the first page, buyers will click it. Many of buyers don’t interest going up to 10-15 pages. They try to get the seller on page one or two. and your other point, Why you think like that, You can’t be telling like that. It is my question. I think I can make my question here. I only need to confirm it. Because also, You can find here many of seller tells about gig ranking. Don’t hate speech like that. Before beginning the Fiverr ranking issue, I SEO my gig and ranked up to the first page. Now it is dropped. And another point, My mistake for adding this to report bug title. I accept that. Now I think I can’t change it. (edited : I will change it) Finally, I want to say, If we ask stupid questions As you mention Don’t reply to it. :rofl:I only want to know about ranking gig. I am sorry to say, Some of your comments really hurt me. Thank you And I can get the final answer for this question, We can’t rank our gig in online I was a misunderstanding. I guess you haven’t seen a bunch of topics where sellers complain that their gig is on the first page, but they’re still not getting sales.

  20. This is a very interesting point, though not a fool-proof test. I didn’t click the link, just because I read it back when it was posted (as well as it’s predecessor, Forum Rules + Do's and Dont's), and it’s also already in my bookmarks because I do tend to revisit it often.

  22. Just to share the other side of the argument - we’ve done many orders for $1,000+ here on Fiverr. Last month we did a job for around $2,500 in a single order, this month we expect to have another, and this is with a brand new seller, with no track history on the platform. I think you have to apply some of your own business intelligence (what’s your communication with the buyer like? Any red flags?). But also, at some point, you have to put some faith in both people, and the system that’s there to protect you. Outside of Fiverr, you’d invoice. What’s to stop a buyer from not paying your invoice? Sure, you’ve got legal recourse, but what if the buyer goes bust before they can pay your bill? You take them to court, win, and still don’t get paid a penny. I’d argue that Fiverr offers more protection in some ways, due to the escrow system. It’s your call, because it’s your time on the line. But Fiverr do provide protection to sellers, regardless of what many think. Like @wolfhowler has said, document everything. Protect yourself as though you’re going to get scammed - you hopefully won’t need it, but it’s not the end of the road if something bad happens.

  25. Not to discourage you but you are basically asking your competitors to help you to do your job? (The job that you’ve been paid to do but you are asking them to help you for free?)
    4 points
  26. So instead of adapting and overcoming the competition, you feel like your “seniority” should instead be enough for you to get guaranteed work on this platform? This platform is a highly competitive marketplace. You need to step up your game if you feel like your category is flooded with new sellers. By the way, if there was a “seniority favoritism” feature: Your account is 3 years old. Mine is 7 years old. Thank you for playing. (does that seem more fair to you?) P.S. If you truly are an expert in your field, you should have NO problem showcasing that and standing out.

  32. In this situation I’ll reach out to the buyer, first with a message, explaining that I’ll need instructions if I’m going to revise the deliver, and if they don’t reply within 12 hours, I dispute the order in the resolution center, explaining that the buyer didn’t provide the instructions and that I need more time to complete the order. In the dispute, I ask for the additional time required + the instructions. If 24 hours go by with no new instructions or reply from the buyer, I’ll initiate a cancellation of the order through the resolution center. In my request I’ll again request the needed information, explaining a few things: That the buyer still has the option of providing me with the necessary information, but if they don’t, the order will be canceled.If/when the order is canceled, the buyer no longer has the right to use the delivered material, nor do they have the right to have their delivery revised.Internally, my procedure for this type of situation at this point is to add the buyer to my blacklist. I have two levels on this list: Be careful I’ll take extra caution if I ever have to work with this buyer again. A buyer ends up on this list if they have been difficult to deal with or if they are slow to communicate their needs.No-fly-list This list is reserved for abusive buyers, including anyone abusing the revision button. I consider asking for a revision without providing the needed instructions to be abuse. As soon as my order with this buyer is resolved, through cancellation if needed, I’ll carefully add the information I need about the buyer to the list (including information I have that will help me to uncover any unlawful usage of the materials already delivered, that they didn’t pay for because of the revision abuse and lack of instructions), and then I’ll block the buyer.Since you have three days left, you have some time. Let the buyer know by a message that you need the instructions as soon as possible. My procedure for dealing with this type of situation sometimes leads me to cancellations and lost revenue. Still, it also helps me identify potential problem-buyers for future reference, and it gives the buyer ample opportunity to provide me with the instructions. I’m always polite and professional in my communications, and since I offer the buyer several chances to provide the instructions, I rarely have to cancel. The worst thing you can do is just to deliver what you already delivered again. The buyer can leave negative reviews, or get the order canceled via CS. So I would avoid that!

  33. You should never consider yourself a failure… if there is life there is still hope… You’re just starting on the journey, you can’t see things on a platter of gold, you have to push and fight for it by promoting your services on the social media. Fiverr is oversaturated with the influx of new sellers but that doesn’t mean you are a failure… keep pushing and hoping on to God and let buyer request page be your bed to always visit… A wounded dog is better than a dead lion.

No idea what you’re talking about, but okay. Of course it isn’t true. It’s based on what buyers want and Fiverr isn’t going to give you an incentive to game the system. That’s an insult to hate speech. Also, it’s called a coincidence. You’re using confirmation bias to argue something is happening. I respond because it is not okay for you to use the forum to try to trick buyers. I respond because I have ethics. If you don’t want to be “hurt” then get some ethics and learn how business works. I am not cordial to people who come here trying to find out how to trick buyers.

  36. Buyer gets their funds back, your order completion rate goes down. That’s it.
    3 points
  37. I think being classed as “online” on Fiverr does have an effect on ranking, at least it did in 2017 according to what a Fiverr engineer said in an interview: See pages 14-15 in the link below: softwareengineeringdaily.com SED462-Fiverr-Engineering.pdf119.70 KB there is no real proof to that. in 2017 they also head a beta feature “avaliable for work” where you could tick the box that you are online and open for work. SO back then it might’ve make a difference with that feature. however it doesn’t exist anymore and there is no confirmation that it does have any affect. On the contrary I receive all orders and messages over night when I’m asleep.

  39. I’m not an expert and experienced member. But I have some idea how it works. just take note that order completion rate is based on all orders over the course of 60 days.It will go down/up based on the number of orders you completed/cancelled over the course of that 60 days.To remedy this, just keep completing more orders and avoid cancellations. Thank you?
    3 points
  40. Don’t worry, it happens to everyone. Order completion is calculated based on the last 60 days. So, deliver as many orders as possible on time in the next 60 days, and that percentage will return to 100%.

  45. Hardly a newbie, definitely not my first order and I just got an order from there yesterday…any subsequent revenue I get from that client is because I dared to go to the BR section. If I go to my contacts section and sort them out by ‘amount spent’ the top result is a buyer who I got from the BR section, and so is the fourth buyer. If I had decided it was useless I would have passed on thousands of dollars…I just did the math and those 2 clients alone, which are amazing to work with btw, are responsible for 15% of my all time revenue here.

  49. hmm, I should rather agree with you, as I am old enough compared to most people here. But I do NOT. I suffered long enough because most western Capitalist so-called competitive companies today no longer care about proper performance reviews for their employees. It is more about how obedient you’ve been If you watched CNN lately (I’ve been a fan for 13 years, but not anymore), there is a HUGE number of idiots with a tone of degrees and diplomas who have no clue what they say. Going back, nobody checks if their predictions became true (they do NOT - but who cares). I’m old enough, as I said, but I would promote and push forward any 20 years old guy who does great things. Where I actually agree with you is everybody can pretend to be an “expert” today without any proof. And no, I don’t always believe a guy with a tone of 5-star fiverr gigs is absolutely an expert. I’ve seen there are networks of “gig exchanges” and other stuff like that that fiverr doesn’t care much about. They should.
