  3. I know people who do a job for money. And money is a great thing to have! But if you really want to really excel, you need to find a job you love. Something that you wake up in the morning and are excited about! Like in my voice acting, when I’m able to get really into character, you can feel the joy in the words and the heaviness in the sadness. So love your job. Even if it’s only $5, make it feel like it’s priceless. When you love doing it, that’s the easiest thing in the world to do.

  4. Can you write a 300 word article for me? Title: Why offering free work on Fiverr is pointless. You will need to research the pros and cons of this and ultimately make the case for it being a bad idea.

  5. Please read the fiverr terms of service - there is a link to it at the bottom of the main page. Offering free work will not do anything for you - reviews can only be left on your gig if someone places an order. Orders cannot be free - prices start at $5

  8. Suggest you remove all references to essays from your post above and your gig. Writing essays is against the Terms of Service at the bottom of the Fiverr main page. If you type “essay gig denied” in the search bar above there are several posts on the subject. There is no point in working for free as a buyer has to order, pay, you deliver, and then they can leave a review if they wish to do so.

  9. What would you think if you see a gig that has 100 favorites and only 5 orders with 3 negative reviews?
    6 points
  10. This is the worst advice it is possible to give anyone on Fiverr. Doing any of what you have suggested will result in the OP getting banned. No. Just delete that gig and think carefully about what went wrong before you create another like it.

  11. My gig has been up in the top 5s to top 30s for the past few months and when I just changed my gig thumbnail and my gig description, my gig just disappeared from the search engine and other competitors rose up the search. I assume it’s because of the gig thumbnail and description, but I literally just added a few sentences and a few words. I improved the gig thumbnail by making it more “professionally” and more “moderny” looking. Is this normal? My gig just experienced it’s highs, it’s middle thing, and now I’m experiencing the lowest lows.

  12. I covered this in my live stream last week, with an official response from Fiverr staff: It’s just a bookmark system. All those groups that exchange favorites are a huge waste of time and effort for all parties involved. Joke’s on them. As for the “social proof” argument, I personally don’t see it.
    5 points
  13. Yeah, you may not see that happening. How about this… You will see many gigs having hundreds of favorites with zero order. Everybody trusts them but nobody orders. They have been trustworthy sellers without selling anything. 😀

  14. Yes. Only if you want all of your accounts to get permanently banned.

  17. I want to have a powerful video to promote my gig, but I don’t have a powerful voice to speak with in the video. Is it OK to pay someone for their voice-over services to have them be the voice in my gig’s video? I assume it is fine, but I could be very wrong. I’d be the one editing the whole video together, just not doing the voice.

  20. This is my new account: My first order has been canceled. Which was mutual cancellation. Since then I have not received any further orders. I do not even understand the reason for this. So Expert Bro/Sis look at my account and give me some suggestions so I can get an order in the future. Now tell me what to do for this account. I hope I get a lot of good advice from you. Thanks…

  21. Mine too! However, I write grotesque horror with a touch of sci-fi. Scope. History has made it clear that anyone who works for passion will go insane and cut one of their own ears off. Either that or get lynched and nailed to something. Great point! When I’m less passionate about something, I’m also less likely to go crazy over it. A lot of my clients enjoy cliché romance. Sometimes, when I’ll try to make it less cliché, they ask for it to be revised to be more cliché. If writing romance was something I was really into, it would pain me to have to depreciate a story like that. But because it’s not my niche of choice anyway, I find the revisions a bit easier to bear (though having work butchered is never fun).

  22. If they spent their time trying to offer better service instead of wasting it on groups trading views and favourites, they would have better results. Yeah, seeing a big number of hearts sends a positive message to the buyer, but reviews, portfolio and description are far more important.

  23. If you are asking that question then you are probably not an Instagram expert to begin with.

  24. I don’t think this happened on fiverr based on the OP having joined this month, and the month is only a week old.

  25. Your account is showing as active. While you wait for the reply from Customer Support, if you type “access denied” in the search bar above there are several posts on the subject. Something there may be helpful to you.

  26. That was in the past, the rules have changed a few times since then. It’s best to ask Customer Support first, as @miiila suggested.

  27. I have to say, I’ve been on Fiverr for quite some time and I’ve seen a lot, but this the first time I am completely lost and confused. In many cases no matter how confusing ( or poor…) the description is, I can somewhat tell what the gig is trying to offer. For this one however, I’m lost. Completely lost. I wish I could give you constructive feedback, but I don’t think I can.

  28. Yes what? I’m sorry but that wasn’t my question. I asked how exactly you want us to help you? It’s a horrible advice. First one is called spamming and can get him banned on other social media platforms and second one is physically impossible to stay online 24/7 and it still wouldn’t bring him anything.

  30. Hi I’m Paulina, I’m 22 and I’m an artist. My favourite thing and speciality is making characters; designing, creating, drawing characters and creatures of any species. I like fantasy themes and cartoony graphics. I love watching new cartoons and comics and playing games. I graduated from a games design course last year (artistic side) but I haven’t worked in the industry yet. It’s nice to meet you all 🙂

  36. Gig favorites are to help BUYERS find gigs that they liked. Sellers do not gain anything

  37. On Fiverr, it’s not allowed to offer a service that takes more than 30 days to deliver. Why? As others have noticed, you have created your account this month, so you couldn’t have waited for 7 weeks unless you have more than one account (which would be a violation of Fiverr’s Terms of Service, unless you have closed your old account and opened a new one with the permission from Customer Support). Anyway, we’re just sellers and buyers. Only Customer Support can help you.

  38. So once again someone has placed orders for two identical gigs, because they could not go back and add extras to the first order. This has happened with four orders in the past week since people decide to add extras and it won’t let them, so they place a second order that includes the extras. I hope this gets fixed soon. Apparently they need to use a computer to use the resolution center to request the cancellation, making it even more difficult for some of the buyers this happens to.

  39. Suggest you read the Terms of Service at the bottom of the Fiverr main page for the rules as to how Fiverr works and the consequences if you violate them. Everything is explained there in great detail.

  40. Why do you want to contact your seller? Are you expecting a refund because whatever your seller said would happen didn’t?

  41. Welcome to fiverr forum. Congratulations. Best of luck.

  42. This is how Fiverr’s rating system works. The buyer may - or may not - leave a review, outlining their experience as a buyer with you and assigning a number of stars to reflect it. If they had a good experience, they generally leave a 5* review - but don’t bank on it. I’ve occasionally been left 4* reviews even though the narrative was enthusiastic. If they had a meh experience, they generally don’t leave a review. If they had a rubbish experience, they will often - but not always - leave a review. If they’re new, they may not notice, or understand the importance of, the need for a review. Or they may not want others to know they needed help … so don’t leave a review. You can only leave a review if the buyer does. And even then, you won’t see their review first. Fiverr’s logic for this is that they want the reviews to be honest, not responsive. If you don’t like the review they left (once you can see it!), you can respond to it, explaining your side of what happened. Fiverr appears to think this method works for them, so they seem to be keeping it.

  43. If you didn’t get what you paid for and have been blocked by the seller you can contact support though the help desk. Here’s the buyer help centre page (see the “contact us” option on the page below if necessary): https://buyers.fiverr.com/en/ Or here’s the direct link if you need to create a support ticket: https://www.fiverr.com/support_tickets/new

  44. Information I received from Fiverr CS recently contradicts this guarantee: image708×424 37.9 KBIf anyone is planning to enroll for Learn courses in 2020, just to gain a better gig ranking and exposure, please consider the above. The automatic email from Fiverr about finishing a course (when you haven’t finished it yet) also says “Improve your Fiverr ranking, expand your skill set, and more!”. But from your message from CS it seems it doesn’t have any effect on ranking, directly - but they don’t say that in the message. I think it should be made clearer in info about the courses, and emails that it has no direct affect on ranking, etc.

  45. A .zip file would work. Or turning Live Portfolio off for that specific delivery, and then turning it back on.
    3 points
  46. Suppose someone asked you to write an article about that? Where would you get information on that subject? Do you think an article writer has to do their own research on topics they are asked to write about?
    3 points
  47. There are none that we can tell you about, because you need to take the time to do your own market research. If you’re a serious seller, you already know who your target market is, what they need, how you can solve those needs, and where you can find those kinds of people. You are going to have to do your own market research. There are no shortcuts to success.

  48. When ever you edit your gig it will lost its ranking, so thats why the orders also decreases.

  49. Hola, Florin. ¡Bienvenido a Fiverr y al foro! I’m also Venezuelan, but from Caracas. 🙂 If you know your friend’s username, you just need to go to his profile and either contact him to discuss your project, or order directly through his gig. Follow this link, writing his username where it says “users”: www.fiverr.com/users
