Guest cassiopei Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I still haven’t sold my first gig yet. I have responded to buyer requests, no luck there. Am I doing something wrong? How can I improve my gigs and get my first sale here on Fiverr?
blaisefaint Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 Dear Cass:What name do you like to be called? Your customers want to know what to call you.I took a quick look at your profile:Your profile image: I recommend a color photo of your smiling face. Others may recommend you use a logo or a caricature to protect your privacy. No reputable person associated with Fiverr recommends that you ever lie about your location or attempt to deceive Buyers with misleading information. (I’m not saying you have, I’m just including this information for the benefit of anyone else who might read this post.)Your one-line statement that appears on the profile page, directly below your user name: Is kind of bland. I suggest you go back to the drawing board.Your profile text – note the edits:My hobbies are gardening, baking, & painting. I have a lot of experience with removing image backgrounds & much more [like what?]. My skills include adaptability, strong work ethic, & time management. Thank you for taking the time to check out my gigs. I’m here to help you with what you need. -[Name Buyers should call you]All your gigs should have video, 3 images, 2 pdfs (for more samples and your business policies), and so on…Make a video of yourself talking to the camera, because this approach garners IMMEDIATE RESULTS. I suggest you add gigs built around the specific software packages you use, after conducting thorough keyword research.Good luck,Blaise[details=Click Here for TOP SECRET Tips and TricksNever Contact a Seller on Fiverr to Ask for FREE STUFF!]Be sure to read the Fiverr Terms of Service and to make use of Tools like the Fiverr Blog, Fiverr Academy, Fiverrcast, and Fiverr Support.Engage your common sense. selfors Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Best of luck to you as you get started.Definitely study Blaise’s advice. It made a huge difference in my sales. You have three packages priced out at five, 10 and $15, all of which have the exact same content. I’m sure this would confuse a buyer. I don’t think new sellers should do packages. I think you should offer to do a huge amount of work for just five dollars. Just my opinion. We all had to slave away to get those first 10 sales under our belts. If I want a background removed, I’m not wanting to wait 24 hours. I have a friend who had only a few sales in several months of being on Fiverr in an admin category. I told him if he would promise to “blast out” his work in 3 hours, he will get more sales. Now, three weeks later, he has 37 ratings. You should think about doing the same.Again, best of luck. 🙂

pr_junction Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Hello cassiopei, first of all the kind of service that you’ve chosen to provide has tough competition here on Fiverr, I mean your Gigs where you provide service for “Removing Background” and “Whiteboard Animation” are some of the top competitive category. But having said that, you just need to stick to basics as well as do promote your services outside Fiverr as much as you can.Good luck!
blaisefaint Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Hey Sir,Can You Help Me, Give Advise, Few Days Ago I add Video My Gig, After Add Video My Gig Hide From Search What I can Do?Thanks In Advance.Dear Showp:As a matter of course, when you edit your gigs in any way, you must be aware that it can take a day or so for the Fiverr editors to manually review your changes (they don’t always do this, but sometimes they do) and re-index your gig for search. If you make judicious changes, then you may find that after your gig reappears, it actually ranks higher.Unfortunately, sometimes these changes give you worse results or result in the removal of your gig.The ways of Fiverr are mysterious and hard to fathom.Good luck,Blaise

selfors Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Cass, I commend you for implementing a lot of the advice you’ve received here. Your gig looks much better.Your gig picture is eye-catching, but maybe this would be even more so. And yes, I’ve added 4 extra pictures to your base gig, which I think you need to do to catch attention. Remember those first 10 orders aren’t for the money.Best of luck!Bob 🙂
Guest cassiopei Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Thank you all for your replies and helpful advise!
