It redirecting me to home page. Thanks for you comment 😃 I think this option is disabled from my region.

It’s not disabled, the promotion is no longer operational.

Oh well - that explains it - no more free gig then?

ts for my Aeropress

you are talking about this? A manual pump for coffee??

OT

Yep, best coffee machine I’ve ever had and I have had all types of manual, electronic, capsule, tablet machine. This is the best there is. Quick, clean, great flavor.

@offlinehelpers Yes, love the Aeropress even though the hipsters also love it because its not electrical.

Not a Kenco fan though, I use Badger and Dodo (roasted in Ireland) or my own roast which is made in a popcorn maker from green beans.

Kenco Medium was the only one they did which didn’t have that horrible froth on the top! I just want a nice, strong coffee!

I actually found that Lidl or Aldi, cant remember which, pods were quite good in the Tassimo machine. Surprising but superior to most!

That’s good to know - I’ve only seen Nespresso - was tempted to buy a machine when I saw the pods for sale in Poundland the other week!

I can´t say much to 1-3 but I wouldn´t worry about the username, everyone who uses the internet knows that it can be difficult to get a free name that halfways makes sense and without adding numbers and stuff and everybody signed up for something and then later realized they are stuck with that name, or weren´t aware that it was not just an internal user-ID but the name everybody sees etc. A 100% fitting or ‘neutral’ name probably is a plus, but probably not worth much thought or sacrificing this account for a new one though.
But I see we´re at Tassimo now, I had one, long ago, I have a Nespresso since 2 or 3 years, I like it, but is a pain to get the pods.

Honestly, the Aeropress is worth giving a go to and cheap. Use Lavazza Red with it which you will get in most supermarkets. You can use any ground coffee with it.

I appreciate that we have gone off topic and that I started it, but when OP joins in its kinda ok, right?

The nespresso is at work, at home I´m lazy too and have whatever instant coffee and a water boiler.

And I guess it´s kinda okay, though only 2 or 3 kinds of coffee are allowed or so, if it gets to iced coffee or Pharisäer, it might get critical.

Thank you so much for all your ideas for original questions chaps and for the coffee help! It wasn’t ‘off topic’, it was an integral part of @eoinfinnegan 's explanation of how to encourage folks to sign up for Fiverr!

Thank for that @miiila - it would make sense to keep it - I’ve got the website, FB, Twitter, YouTube etc. so yes, it would be daft to chuck it all away and start again!

It’s amazing where Nespresso pods are popping up here at the moment - Aldi, Lidl, Poundland, B&M - but the new Tassimos aren’t very nice!

Well, I’m not 100% as I haven’t researched this fully, but I would imagine that you put your offer up (20% discount for all new buyers and get $5 free by…[awesome details]"), ensnare your victim lead so they sign up and you get the thing. Or as DJ pointed out, you get gazumped and swindled out of all your hard work by a competitor.

The signup really only takes like 2 minutes if you use FB or whatever, so I don’t see it being a huge barrier. The key is just making sure that your offer sounds ridiculously good and unavoidable.

And you are very good at that! 🙂

That is… “The key is just making sure that your offer sounds ridiculously good and unavoidable.”

My tuppence worth:

If you want an easy life with a little payment security, point non-Fiverr traffic to Fiverr.

If you want to increase/find more customers re: the services you offer, have a website.

You can do both of these, and then you can decide if you want to deal directly with non-Fiverr traffic or insist they use Fiverr. It’s dead easy to set up business pay pal, then you can invoice customers and have records for tax etc.

Yes, add more gigs to your repertoire. Sounds like a great idea.
Yes, market to online business too. Why not? Maybe see if you still need to do this after you’ve done the other stuff.

Is most of your business coming from the same country as you are living in?

If yes. I would focus on a website and try to sell your services outside of Fiverr. the pay outside of Fiverr is generally higher and if I remember it right that you’re from the U.K., (high trust society, good legal system), you can take the risk that you are not getting paid in x% of the cases.

If no, I would do both a website and some other marketing. The website doesn’t have to fancy, it can be a standard Wordpress theme with some of your own info.

Only if all your clients are from elsewhere, it makes sense to only promote Fiverr.

@mjakkerman Many thanks for the suggestions! That’s really helpful - thank you!
