Why I am not Getting any Orders

Buyer Requests are requests that Buyers make.

If they don’t request vector tracing, you won’t see requests.

If Buyers don’t want that, you might be wise to focus on something else.

Hello sir,

What should write on : Tell your buyer what you need to get started. in this portion? while making a new gig. I am trying to create a new gig on Vector tracing.

Dear Salehin and Apurbo:

The first question I have for both of you is:

What research have you done to make your gigs the best they can be?

Have you read Fiverr Academy or listened to Fiverrcast?

Thank you,

Blaise

Dear Neeraj:

Here is a checklist to help you improve your gigs.

  • Your log line:

I Know the Value of your Photos

In my humble opinion (IMHO), this is too generic.

*Your profile image:

I suggest a full color photo from the front. Why are you standing in front of a coat rack? Is there some more compelling background in India?

  • Your profile text:

I’m a photographer and editor. I have over 4 years experience in Photoshop and know every trick. I can guarantee your satisfaction before you place the order. I invite you to experience my friendly service.

To my western eyes, this comes across as self-centered and arrogant. I suggest you re-frame this with a focus on the Buyer. Your mileage may vary.

  • Gig Title:

I will color Splash your Images

IMHO, this is too generic. Your choice of capitalization makes no sense to me.

  • Gig Description:

NOTE: CONTACT ME IN INBOX BEFORE ORDERING ANY GIG

I am 5 stars rated seller

hello, friends if you want to edit your photo then send your photos to me I will edit your photo with perfection.

Do not give order until I gave reply of your message.

This previous text raises major red flags for me. This subtext is, “Hey, Buyer, I’m more important than YOU!” Rather than correcting the grammar, I suggest you delete it entirely.

You would definitely benefit from hiring a copy writer to make your gig descriptions more compelling and Buyer Friendly.

A suggested format for your gig descriptions:

WHO I AM

WHAT YOU GET

WHY YOU SHOULD BUY FROM ME

RECOMMENDED GIG EXTRAS / COMPLEMENTARY GIGS

  • Video: 30 to 60 seconds. Fiverr says videos can boost your sales. You should include lots of examples.

Gig Images: You should have 3.

Gig Extras: You have gone the Gig Packages Route, which is fine.

Gig Packages:

Fiverr recommends that new Sellers offer 1-day delivery for their base packages. I suggest you go this route until you are a Level 1 Seller. Extend your delivery times when you have enough business to justify it.

You should be aware that your English is problematic, and take extra care to correct grammar before hitting send. Ask yourself, “Is this going to make the Buyer feel they know, like, and trust me, or will it turn them off?”

Good luck,

Blaise

Wow! Very detailed. Would you please review my Gig.

Wow! Very detailed. Would you please review my Gig.

All the Best,

Dear Diego:

I took a quick look at your profile:

Your profile image: I recommend a color photo of your smiling face. Others may recommend you use a logo or a caricature to protect your privacy. No reputable person associated with Fiverr recommends that you ever lie about your location or attempt to deceive Buyers with misleading information. (I’m not saying you have, I’m just including this information for the benefit of anyone else who might read this post.)

Your one-line statement that appears on the profile page, directly below your user name: No suggestions.

Your profile text – note the edits:

I am a musician, sound designer, and audio engineer with experience in sound design, audio post-production, music composition & production, as well as studio recording & mixing. I’m here to help you wit your audio needs. - Diego Pinto

All your gigs should have video, 3 images, 2 pdfs (for more samples and your business policies), and so on…

Make a video of yourself talking to the camera, because this approach garners IMMEDIATE RESULTS. Include additional samples in the video!

I suggest you build some gigs around the software packages you use – these are tremendous key words.

I suggest you hire a copy writer to make your gig descriptions more compelling. You can find discussions about the pros and cons of giving away free samples if you search the Forum. Just what do Buyers get for $5? You should look into gig packages and gig extras.

Good luck,

Blaise

Dear Joseph:

Nota Bene: Please call me Blaise, rather than Blaisefaint. Thank you.

I took a quick look at your profile:

Your profile image: No suggestions.

Your log line: This is a slogan that appears under your name. You don’t have one. You should get one and make it cool.

Your profile text – note the edits:

I specialize in web and graphic design, photography / photo editing, web programming, and animation. In my spare time, I play the guitar. -Joseph

I see no reason to place “Joseph” in all caps in your copy. Re-word your profile text to make it clear that you are here to help the Buyer. “I will be your foot soldier” has unpleasant connotations. Maybe “concierge” or some other keyword that suggests that you’re here to help the Buyer with tasks in Nigeria, as opposed to your willingness to kill strangers.

Also, your gigs are all over the place. Mentioning that you play guitar in your leisure doesn’t really serve a business purpose, as you don’t have a guitar-playing gig. I suggest you read twistedweb123’s post about making complementary gigs: 3 Top Tips and Tricks. Condense your current gigs to your top performers and rebuild from there.

All your gigs should have video, 3 images, 2 pdfs, and so on…

Make a video of yourself talking to the camera, because this approach garners IMMEDIATE RESULTS. Include additional samples in the video!

Which one gig would you like me to look at more closely?

Good luck,

Blaise

Hi Blaisefaint,

Can you do me a favor also? Please check my profile and give a review for my profile.

Dear Rafi:

What name do you like to be called? Your customers want to know what to call you.

I took a quick look at your profile:

Your profile image: I suggest that you button your shirt and straighten your tie. You want to look professional, not like a bad boy macking on chicks at a meat market. I also suggest combing your hair and a bigger, more genuine smile.

Your one-line statement that appears on the profile page, directly below your user name: No suggestions.

Your profile text – note the edits:

I am an energetic Front-End Developer with an affinity for attractive design. I am certified in Computer Science and Engineering. I have 6 years of experience as a Web Developer. I’m here to help you. -[Name Buyers Should Call You]

Please note: I cut “precisely planned user knowledge” because I have no idea what that means.

All your gigs should have video, 3 images, 2 pdfs (for more samples and your business policies), and so on… Once the Fiverr Editors catch on to the fact that you’ve added your personal website to your videos, they’re very likely to pull your videos. I suggest you carefully read the Fiverr Terms of Service and re-do your videos from scratch to avoid problems.

Make a video of yourself talking to the camera, because this approach garners IMMEDIATE RESULTS. Include additional samples in the video!

This phrasing is awkward: “Do you need to install WordPress, Customize it as like as demo, Migration and so more?” I suggest you invest in a copy writer to make your profile descriptions more compelling and more comprehensible. Given that you have no reviews, I suggest you familiarize yourself with twistedweb123’s advice below regarding building complementary gigs that feed into each other.

Good luck,

Good luck,

Blaise

Sir, I have the same problem as Neeraj just now told. I got few customers and I tried my level best to offer them best services that I could. They gave me 5 stars in return too. When I checked out my gig stats, impressions are increasing but clicks and views stats are not as per my expectations. I have got just 6 clicks in the past 7 days. Please go through my gig and let me know what is the main problem that I am not getting enough orders? I will be grateful to you. Link to my profile: https://www.fiverr.com/interestingweb

Testing our search placement algorithm

Hi there . I used to get regular orders in my gig til this 10th of may.But suddenly my sales, views impression all are down. You can search “Funny intro” in fiverr and my gig will appear at the Top of the page. But even this gig stopped getting orders(except 1-2) . Is this the reason?

Good luck,

Blaise

Never Contact a Seller on Fiverr to Ask for FREE STUFF!]

Be sure to read the Fiverr Terms of Service and to make use of Tools like the Fiverr Blog, Fiverr Academy, Fiverrcast, and Fiverr Support.

Engage your common sense. Not every suggestion here will work for you. You are responsible for your results, so you should test everything and adjust for your own best results.

I suggest you check out Fiverrcast episode 08: Working Through Language Barriers.

As a general rule, when I have time to participate in the Fiverr Forum and I notice a request like yours in the “Improve My Gig” section, I am willing and able to look at a Seller’s Profile and one gig one time.

I can give you a better level of assistance if you first work your way through the checklist below. That way, I won’t waste your one turn by advising you to follow items on the checklist.

Please study this thread: https://forum.fiverr.com/t/the-big-day-i-finally-ask-blaisefaint-to-critique-my-gig/104448 to better appreciate what I’m talking about here. It should take you a minimum of 4 weeks to make your way through all the material.

If you haven’t already read Strengths Finder 2.0 and taken that assessment, I suggest you do so, because it should give you the language to express your strengths and help you to brainstorm some gigs for which you are especially well qualified. Check out the writing of Chris Guillebeau and Tim Ferriss. By Josh Kaufman, I recommend The First 20 Hours: How to Learn Anything… Fast! and The Personal MBA. Also, you could read Influence by Robert Cialdini and Get Anyone to Do Anything by David J. Lieberman.

Here’s a thread discussing a specific example of a Buyer Request for which I created a gig and then asked for help improving that gig via the forum.

I think y’all should stop commenting on this thread and open your own threads. Don’t hijack other people’s threads to ask your own questions.
Also, there’s so many tips floating around the forum about how to get orders/sell gigs from other people who ask the same question, not to mention Fiverr Academy.
