magisworks
I noticed that when I update my gig title, the URL doesn’t change accordingly. For this, is it possible to have the URL changed by Fiverr support?
refugeek
Yeah I’ve ran into this too… now when I create a new gig I just add a short description first. Once the url is set to that, I edit it.
studiobassd
Wow, yes. I learned the hard way.It does catch people making a great gig then trying to pass off the reviews on a bad gig.Alas, deleting old gigs doesn’t seem in the system.Long term digital thinking. zaman200
Hi I have few gig, i want to change my gig url address with few popular keyword.Cani i do it? please few suggestion.
misscrystal
No you cannot. It makes no difference as far as where your gig appears in the search. Also, you can change the title of the gig without changing the URL, as long as it is a similar type of gig title as the URL.

wordpress_skils1
You can’t change gig permalink. Fiverr may work on this in future.
rishaan_bhagat
You can’t change it now. It initiates when you create a gig. So always keep that in mind when you create any gig.

They probably won’t change it. Keeping the URL helps with spotting scams (say, someone gets reviews for one thing, and then changes the gig to something completely different, trying to make it appear as if they’ve got reviews for a different service).
braipure
I facing the similar situation. I made a gig with very unnoticeable title at first but then I changed it to more searchable one but it shows the old title then I created an additional gig for same service but still its not searchable. I don’t know what am I missing here. 😞

Nope, they’ve probably made the URL’s permalink as the ID of a gig. They should implement to have this feature.

misscrystal
I don’t know what the mistake was but it will not hurt the gig as long as the title is for the same thing as the URL> for example if the URL is about logos, then the gig should be about logos. If the URL is about something different from the gig then you will need to delete the gig. alejocamaleon
Gig permalinks stays the same as like your initial title when you created and published the gig.I found it happened even before publishing. The first time you write a title in your draft the permalink is set right after saving or moving to the next step.It happened to me but as @misscrystal says the title is still relevant. Actually I see it as a good thing since it’s a slightly different way to communicate what the gig is about (in case anyone bothers to look at the url)If it happens to me again while drafting I would just recreate the gig before publishing.

lloydsolutions
Once you create a gig the URL can’t be changed. You can change the gig title but it must bear some resemblance to the gig URL.
humanissocial
Your gig URL slug isn’t going to affect that.I know in regular SEO it can, but not on Fiverr.Fiverr explains very clearly that you can’t change your gig URL. No system anywhere changes your URL slug automatically when you change your title. Because then people would complain about losing their backlinks.
