Hello everyone,

I was trying to make a payment via visa debit card for an order but its showing me the error…“your payment could not be processed”…can anyone tell me what could be the issue with the payment? what are the other option to make that payment…

Hello Monica,
I see that you are from India and here not all banks allow online payments via a debit card to a payment gateways such as Paypal.
I would suggest you use a credit card issued by a bank in India or contact your bank and ask them to enable international online payment on your debit card.

Your problem is legit. Sometimes even debit cards which claim to be compatible with international ecommerce portals do not work with certain vendors. Even I faced this problem 3 years back when Hostgator would not accept payments from my debit card and demanded a ‘real’ credit card.

The alternative is to avail the internet banking services offered by your bank. As to how to avail these, you will have to contact your bank and ask them, it’s quite a hassle free process. In the end they will give you a virtual credit card linked to your main bank account. This VCC works on all international payment processors. You can simply instruct your bank to load money from your savings account into your VCC and you can use this VCC as a normal credit card. All of this takes just 15 minutes to activate, just contact the customer support number of your bank. It’s less hassle than getting an additional credit card in addition to your existing debit card. The VCC has a validity of 12 hours to 48 hours, after which it expires and the unused funds are transferred to your bank account.

In case you plan to buy more gigs in the future, simply load a lump sum amount into your VCC and use it to top up your Fiverr account at once. The VCC is recognized as a ‘real’ credit card on international sites, unlike debit cards of (mostly nationalized banks) which have additional identity verification protocols to comply with Indian ID theft laws, which makes them incompatible with certain types of payment processors/gateways/merchants.

Short version : Get a VCC.

i used an international debit card right now and amount has been deducted from my account but order is not done…how can i get my amount back…

This is exactly what will lead to your downfall on Fiverr.

If the amount has been deducted from your bank, you can contact your respective bank first and tell them about the issue.
Next you can contact the payment processor and ask them for the status of your transaction.
Previously I had buyers who faced a similar situation wherein they had their money debited from their bank but the order was not reflected in my list.
Upon contacting Fiverr support they said that it sometimes takes time to get the transaction to get through.
So you might also want to contact Customer Support.

Hi do you have idea of paypal account. you can easily use that for buying. And by debit card it not possible only by credit card

You can use international master card and also paypal… you can complain in fiverr customer support for back your money… and you can check my profile for design a professional email signature… Thank you
