I can't upload profile pics in jpg or word

I have been trying for a long time to attach my pic from the computer I tried jpg or even word but nothing is working

Hi… I’m Peg. I just joined. However, I did not have any issues with posting a profile picture. The key to posting profile pictures on websites is to make sure your file size, type, and resolution are all acceptable. Make sure your image resolution is set to 72 dpi. This is optimum for web graphics, but is terrible for printing. The file type I used was jpeg. My file size was just under 500 mb.
