How to send a message in Buyer Requests

Is there any way for a seller to send a response to a buyer request without sending an order offer?

This is a big problem since many times you send an order to a potential buyer saying something like “Can you give me more details?”, but instead they accept the mock offer that you sent them. The end result is that the order has to be cancelled, which reflects poorly on my profile.

For your question- NO there isn’t.
BTW you shouldn’t reply to requests which you don’t completely understand.

I mean cases in which the buyer is ambiguous, there should be a way to contact them without ordering. Seems like a basic functionality that should be available.

This is actually the main reason why I never react on buyer requests. They are totally unclear in what they want and you have to send them an offer in order to find out. How stupid is that?
