Wow…amazing…but no wonder it’s not all that popular…it’s too dangerous, people can get seriously hurt.

The helmets became mandatory in the last 10 years or so.
Strangely, serious injuries are rare and no deaths have been caused by the sport. Most players will have had a few nose and finger breaks but not much more than that.
The lack of international popularity is probably due more to the amateur status of the game, even though 40-80,000 people turn up to watch. It’s not a career option, people play for their clubs and counties for pride only. Incredible commitment involved though.

Many sellers on Fiverr, like @writer for example, work long hours at the desk and use the Forum to take a break and chat about things. Many of us consider each other as something like friends or colleagues and so the things we chat about are not always to do with Fiverr. As Fiverr does not allow us to contact each other outside of Fiverr, the forum and this category in particular, allow us to talk about what is going on in our lives or discuss the world while taking a short break. It is one of the positive differences between working on Fiverr and working on other sites. If you don’t want to see or be part of these conversations that is fine, but it may be a good idea to stay out of the Conversations category.
