Digital over tangible items

Hello all. I’m a returning seller here on Fiverr (I took a few years off for health reasons) and when I was here in the past I was well on my way to becoming a top rated seller for creating Facebook cover images. Now that I have returned I decided to go with selling tangible items like handmade keychains, lighter cases, Christmas ornaments and other small handmade wooden laser etched items.

My question is this: Have you, as a seller ever worked with selling both digital and tangible items? What performed better for you? Do you find that buyers would rather get something digital over waiting to get an item in the mail?

I have considered tangibles, but for me it seemed like a poor match for Fiverr at this stage. I might consider it for one gig, but if really wanted to do it overall, I’d choose a more suitable platform.

I think that probably platforms like etsy work better for that, but might be wrong, maybe go and look at fiverr gigs that sell tangible items, and see how many sales they make? I´m sure I saw quite a few tangible items gigs, probably in the gifts- or other-sections
