Did you quite like the forum "likes"?

As we all know there have been changes to the forum lately. Now gone forever the menacing red vote down “dislikes” and now nothing at all. Just wondering if it is only me who quite liked the “likes” just like it used to be.

I enjoy having the like button. I don’t think the forum changes are nearly over. There are several things not working quite right, so I doubt they will stop here. I think some form of button will be back though I don’t know which kind.

I don´t need the downvote button, but I liked the likes too.

I find it more relaxing not to think about likes and especially that hideous downvote button which was only encouraging a form of mild bullying.

I think though the likes would be very good to have at least in the Suggestion section if nowhere else.

I didn’t like the down votes, for the reason you stated, but I have been through the forum over the last hour desperate to thumb-up a number of intelligent or funny or on-the-point posts, but I can’t 😦 Am having a sad.

lol yes, me too, I do miss the like, and I think it was (will again be?) nice to have, also so the people who take the time and make those intelligent, funny, helpful etc. posts, get positive feedback on it, sometimes I didn´t have anything to say on some matter, or nothing that hadn´t been already said and said again, but still up-thumbed posts I liked for various reasons. I do think the upvote buttons make/made the forum a friendlier/more atmospheric/personal place, it´s a bit bleak somehow without that, so very neutral. Or neutered? lol But that doesn´t mean I want the downvote button back 😛

That’s true but it seems that nobody wants the downvote button so that is something we all have in common.
