How did I get a "gig in progress" when I never accepted it in the first place?

I have been a seller for a couple months now and so far it’s been going well. However, just yesterday I got a notification that I had an order currently in progress and due in two days. I have never had contact with this person before and the timeline for this request is not what I typically do. I am wondering how this happened? How did a buy essentially drop a gig in my lap without my consent?

Buyers can just click on the green “Proceed to Order” or “Select $xx” and purchase from you. That’s how Fiverr works and how it’s advertised (No hassle! See something you like? Proceed to buy, and you’ll get it!). Some sellers request in their gig descriptions that the buyer contacts them before ordering, but there’s no way to actually force the buyer to do it.
