psychicbunny
Just an update, I’ve had maybe 4-5 people ask me so far what it is with a negative attitude. I don’t really like this feature but I do appreciate Fiverr experimenting with the site.

jelvideos4you
I’m sure that Fiverr will allow us the ability to edit it later on.
taverr
It`s a kind of the audit on all gigs to know what type of industry a gig is closely related with. Perhaps a part of the new fiverr algorithms they updated recently.
misscrystal
My buyers are completely confused about why I would ask them such a question and it’s quite upsetting to some of them.Today someone left a very long message when they ordered, totally confused and upset about why I would ask what industry it was. She was in agony over it wondering how to answer it and thought it was a really dumb idea for me to ask that since she was getting a spell from a witch and now found that I was in some kind of industry, and she was supposed to decidewhat industry I was in.So my orders are not exactly off to a great start when the first thing they see when they order aspell is “What industry does this order relate to?” The witch’s spell industry isn’t an option.it’s not an “industry”buyers think I am asking them the questionthey don’t know how to answer itit often takes them a long to start the order as they try to figure it outwhy does fiverr assume that every gig has to neatly fit into some kind of industry?why is this question being asked of everyone who orders a gig? taverr
I think there is an option about LifeStyle.(Err… cant remember properly) Btw it means which industry the buyers work is related to. For ex- If I will be making a spa banner then the buyer should choose beauty & fashion etc.

live_explainers
Welcome to fiverr!! They can do what ever they want on your business. Strange!!! Very disappointed about this. They even didn’t ask us about this.
consultantindia
I forgot to update this thread. This is what Fiverr told me regarding this feature:“This question was added by our development team. It was added to all Gigs which requirements on them. This is a test they are conducting. I’m afraid it cannot be removed for the time being. Apologies for the inconvenience.”
