I see people usng the word "GIG a lot and really don’t understand the context in which it is used.

On Fiverr, a “gig” is one or your services, as offered on a page here on Fiverr. A Fiverr “gig” used to be limited to a $5 sale price, but now, with the new packages feature, a “gig” can be any price (starting at $5) and in any combination of services and secondary services.

Gig refers to the packaged service(s) you create, in which you have skills and professional capacity to provide on Fiverr - and to be remunerated for it. Your gig could be logo designs, writing and editing, transcription services,etc. You should check Fiverr homepage for the categories and extensive sub-categories of these services. If you are talented and professional in the audio digital niche for example, you could offer gig(s) of diverse packages in that area.
Your best bet is to identify the niche that you have professional capacity and then carefully study the gigs created by Sellers here so as to see their packaging and presentation. Please don’t copy and replicate these gig packages. You are only to be guided by them as you create your own. Hope these help
