Fake Trip Advisor reviews

Dear all, I am new to Fiverr and I hope you can enlighten me on this. I received two requests to write fake reviews on Trip Advisor, meaning on places I can hardly locate on a map… I declined both but I start thinking this may not be the right platform for me, if this is the type of work that sells… Am I being naive or do others have the same issue? I want to write travel blogs and articles, not scam people of Trip Advisor! Many thanks

I’m a writer too and Trip Advisor requests are pretty common, I receive requests like that as well. Don’t worry, you will receive requests from great buyers as well!

@eleonorapennini Welcome to Fiverr. Its great that you are already receiving requests since you just started, but do not be in despair, its only the beginning. You will get a lot more weird and abnormal requests as well.
So simply decline what you must and accept the gigs you like.

Hi Eleonora!

If they are asking you to write fake reviews you should contact the Customer Support.
You can only write reviews to places that you visited.
I sometimes read books and review them, and what my buyers ask is that I send to them my reviews before I post them, to see if they want to post them.
But those reviews are always my opinion about what I read otherwise I wouldn`t post them.

You can tell the buyer that what he requests is prohibited on Fiverr since the big Amazon debacle. If he keeps stalking you contact CS.
