Something IS totally wrong. Your profile pic is that of a well-known 27-year-old Scottish actress, your location is Nigeria, and yet you claim to have attended Harvard university from 2001 - 2005. And you wonder why you’re not getting any orders?

I understand that he/she/apache does not get sales because has fake profile and lies about himself/herself/it. But I did not get any orders this month either. And i get really low number of impressions per day. like 10 maximum per day. Is it because they promote other people too much with that comision or something?

  1. This seller has twice used someone else’s profile picture of their own–the photo was changed when @valanne called OP out.
  2. They claim to have attended Harvard University; from what I see, this is almost certainly a big, fat lie. There are scholarship programs available from a quick Google, but… do I really need to explain this? In contrast, simply lying to impress makes far more sense. Given that we already know OP lies from 1), this is not an unreasonable conclusion.

Finally, considering their discipline, it’s odd that instead of computer engineering-type gigs it’s graphic design (and bad graphic design at that). Maybe some people will find the design “alluring”, but I expect they will be either blind or have a similarly tenuous hold on basic principles of design–this is the real reason for no orders and no sells. As should be patently obvious, even to a Frenchman (not you, I’m just being rude about French people for no reason now).

And don’t spam my inbox in French because your thread has been/is in the process of being deleted. Spam the forum, instead. I realize that you want to call me out for being a nasty little judgemental person, but perhaps you should also call out the other nasty little judgemental people.

Or perhaps you don’t mind working on a platform which is being damaged by liars, crooks, thieves and scammers? The real crime is being “destructive” in opinion about them. What a strange worldview you have.

The solution is simple: don’t lie–especially if you can’t do it well, or lack a powerful infrastructure behind you to cover it up so most people won’t notice (c/f the ****************************************************)

Personally, I can’t judge the honest people. I think just that it’s lightweight approach as compared to the available evidence. I do not know the people = I can’t judge. If I have an opinion, and failing to have hard evidence, I keep it for me.
After you say there are plenty of liars, crooks, thieves and scammers on this platform, which assures me that you’re not part ?! Did you check and what status? … The world and full of liars, crooks, thieves and scammers (I’m not telling you anything). It is not with the unfounded judgments (without evidence), insults and abuse.

Everyone has his own way of seeing things! I can respect it. But get high on others just because we used to be critical, this method unfortunately to run its course and not currently working.

Seriously, I’m sorry, whoever you truly are, but you simply are not doing things right here.
Then what/how should I do things here you might ask, but I’m afraid I am not capable of
helping you. The VERY best advice I can give you is JUST USE YOUR OWN PHOTO.
If you seriously are thinking why it is a bad idea to use another person’s photo, well, sorry,
you are at the wrong place.

Allow me to hop in here for a moment…
I personally am a believer of constructive criticism, and I have heard of the
saying “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it” and to a certain point I think that is true…but this person lied and changed the profile pic 3 times already, and Emma is just leaving a sarcastic comment.
True, she ( or other people) could have left a nice solution or helpful advice, but I think help/advice is for people who are honest and really
trying. As far as I can tell, this OP is not being honest at all, and trust me,
once a lie is exposed here at the forum, things can get preeeeetty ugly, and
I’ve seen all kinds of hell break lose here before.

Giving solutions and advice is the purpose of the forum like you said,
but giving dishonest sellers the iron fist is necessary, and I don’t see
the harm of adding a bit of sarcasm to it.
Just saying!

Perhaps no one is interested. You need gigs that are in high demand, samples that show something great and reviews to show to you know what you are doing. If no one is interested, either too many people are already selling that or no buyer wants it. Without buyers, you can’t generate samples and reviews. This is true for everyone who has a gig that has barely sold anything.

If there was a huge shop full of white tennis shoes and 1000 different people were selling them, how would all those people sell shoes? Even if one person is selling a brand called Great Shoes, the guy next to him with the brand called Wonderful Shoes really has nothing different to offer. It doesn’t work.

You know exactly what is being said here. You started off displaying fake pictures and ruining your credibility. You aren’t even level 1. There is nothing about your gigs to attract buyers. The fake pictures made it worse, but to really sell, you have to have a high quality product that is in high demand and sell it in some way that makes you unique. Seeing you pretend that you didn’t know about the pictures makes me think you will have a hard time being original on Fiverr.

Her answer appears to be to the OP. Posts will shift to the right when they are replies unless they go past 4 levels deep. It does help to do as you suggested and include an @, but watching for the tab can be of use too. 🙂
