dtongsports
Advice to buyers, do not order a gig unless you are prepared and ready to get going. The orders have deadlines and the time it takes to perform gig affects delivery time as well. Do not order a gig, and then tell the seller that you are getting your website together, or you need a few days. The sellers are ready to deliver work and sometimes might not see your order until they are ready to work on it. Without the info then sellers have to cancel the order to avoid deadline issues which in turn could affect their rating as well.Bottomline is to get Streamlined work and delivery, be prepared and have your details ready.DTong

gamersuscentral
I completely agree! Since yesterday , Ive had to people place a order, but not give me any specifications on what thier message is or what type of scenario they would like to see. Its frustrating because of the wait. One guy placed an order that was supposed to be delivered within 24 hours, I messaged the buyer within minutes after placing the order to remind them to please send me information on what thier message will be etc etc… they didnt reply until 1 hour before the 24 hour mark, claiming they were busy. jasveena
Can’t agree more and I think it will be better to approach sellers before ordering

dtongsports
Reply to @jasveena: No doubt about that, I have adult material sometimes placing orders when I don’t accept that content and then they try to turn it around on me and say I need to stipulate! lol! peacehammer
Agreed. For design, I have a list of things that I need stated in the description. Clients buy the gig, then give me next to no information. I then basically copy and paste those questions into the chat, and for some reason they tend to answer it then.I would prefer to have it at the start, then the turnaround will be much quicker for the buyer as well. gailf
Good idea, and yes, we buyers should be prepared.I would note to buyers in the chat that the gig really starts when the seller has all the info they need!
solidslick
@gailf: @peacehammer:What “chat” are you referring to?I am not aware of a chat in the fiverr ordering system?.
nickih
I totally agree. There’s no sense in even placing an order unless you actually have the required information ready go. It doesn’t keep the buyer’s “place in line” because the seller has every right to request a cancellation or deliver late due to the buyer supplying their information late.
