Hello The Top Sellers,

I am new seller on this platform more than one month now I’ve register my account since then i got only four orders completed. Can someone tell me more strategies to get the attention of buyers, I’ve sent about 200plus buyers request but only few responded to me. I need the top sellers to check my gigs and tell me next steps to take in order to get more orders from buyers.
Looking forward to hear from you all. Thanks.
Regards,

I eecommend studiyng more about graphic designing. Intermidiates cant chalange the world. There are pros. Thats why you getting half syars. The. You have no future in fiverr. Be the best at what you are offering first. Then market it.

I think it’s kind of mean to tell them they have no future. 😦
It’d probably be better to say something like, lower their prices till they get better. Since they aren’t an expert at what they’re doing, they can’t expect to get as much for the work they’re currently doing.

(Although you’re right that it is probably better to market after you feel you’re perfect at what you’re doing, I still feel Intermediates can benefit themselves by doing jobs.)

Also I think sometimes Intermediate and Pro ratings can be subjective to an individual.
I have friends that think I’m Pro at what I do, but I know I’m not.
But I’ve seen others who feel like they’re Pro, but it’s obvious they’re not.

This is what I don’t understand. You’ve been on Fiverr for only 2 months and already have 4 sales! That’s amazing! I’ve been on for over 6 months and literally just got my first sale yesterday.

Your Gigs look very good but some of the text does not look professional: “AWESOME full print cover…etc.” However, that is not the big deal here. For just starting out, don’t show buyers that you want to take up to $15 from them. Leave everything at $5 until you have a steady income; at least that’s what my semi-successful friend did here.

I wish you the best of luck!

Hi, I’d like to network with you on Fiverr. Book covers are NOT my specialty (I am a graphic designer and I CAN and DO create book covers) – what I really WANT to do is interior design of books.

I’d like to see some of your portfolio of book covers YOU have designed, and make sure that you meet my quality standards. If you do, I can have you as a go-to person for customers who don’t want to pay me a premium for me to create their cover for them.

And if you look at my work and trust me, you could recommend me for formatting the inside of customer’s books. I also offer editing services, assistance with getting the books out and into a self-publishing platform, etc. Check out my gigs.

The thing about recommendations is that you put a little of your own reputation on the line. I will have to recommend you with an “I never worked with them before” caveat if we don’t get to know each other well enough to endorse each other.

I hope that helps!

One more tip – I learned this the hard way when I applied for a job at a Pre-Press company in New York City 21 years ago:

Never ever misspell in a job application. Or in this case, check your spelling, punctuation & grammar in your gig titles. CreateSpace is ONE camel-case WORD. Use a space after every comma. And people love the word “your” in a title.

“I will design your Book Cover for CreateSpace or Kindle and a Bonus”

Although many new sellers do have problem gigs, I am amazed to see this. You are telling someone else they have no future here, but you cannot write a few sentences without typos or errors all throughout? You also mentioned that they have a half star (I guess that’s what you meant by the misspelled word) but they have 3 good reviews and only one with a slightly lower one. You have a gig with a 3 star review. I see you sell graphic design services too, so I’m reading this as sour grapes.

To the OP, yes, you should listen to the suggestions for improvement on this thread but no one can decide for you that you cannot sell here unless you are breaking the rules and/or Fiverr terminates your account. Improve what you do or change to another type of services, but ignore the negative-nancy here.
