This isn’t going to help. What is “codding”? The art of slapping someone around the face with a wet cod as demonstrated by Monty Python in the 1970s? I’m not sure that a cod was the fish involved, but it’s certainly a good name for this practice.

You’re not going to get anywhere with this post though. Use some of that get up and go that you so clearly have to seek and ye shall find. Or post a useless post about codding. Your choice!
