A question related to writing gigs and publishing samples

hi everyone! I have question relating writing gigs, normally i don’t see the work sample option ON on writing gigs. but many people tend to ask for a sample before they order. so what exactly writers do to provide a sample since providing external links is not allowed (i dont think buyers even provide the sellers with a link where they publish the article, or do they?). also if a writer attaches an old sample and send it in message isn’t it risky that buyer may use it in an unauthorized way since the sample was written for someone else originally?

any insights will be appreciated 🙂

When people ask me to samples, I just attach some of my work for them to read and hope they wont go ahead and still it.

I typically have a few samples ready to upload if they ask or if it is a gig I have special interest in. I have also provided a first paragraph for the actual gig…that way they get a sample of your work that relates directly to their gig.
