Will it affect changing the gig category?

Hi,

first of all good afternoon to all my fiverr friends,

i’m having a little issue here, i do programming jobs in fiverr and i’m happy to say that i had good sales for my gigs

but recently i change my most popular gigs sub category to “java” to “Technology” since i do not stick into a one language. so guys will this effect my gigs popularity ?? i hope someone has a past experience about this kind of a situation

Well it will change where it appears in terms of search. Whether this changes the popularity of not… you will have to wait and see.
