Having free time is nice, but

So I’ve been here at Fiverr for about 3 years now, and I have never had a time where I had no gigs for more than 5 days. Usually I get a gig or 2 everyday, if not every 2 days or so, and usually when I get too many gigs I tell myself awe darn, maybe I should pause my gig for a few days and finish off the gigs, blah blah blah. And wow, this is the first time I’ve had zero gigs!! I’m not worried or complaining, I’m pretty sure I will get an order again pretty soon, but this feels so strange. I mean, I do have work aside from Fiverr so having a bit of a free time is nice, but it made me realize how much time I actually do spend working on the gigs.



For now I’ll just enjoy my free time, watch movies, go to cafes and such, I can enjoy this for a while.

Well, I just hope this won’t go on for more than 2 weeks! XD

Go with the flow is my thing! 🙂 Glad you can take some time to have a social life. I am in my bedroom all the time. I don’t have a car and am declaring to my parents that I am employed by Fiverr LOL. See a movie for me will ya HAHA

In fact, this morning I got a message asking for a quote, so I guess I’ll be getting an order pretty soon?



I actually will go watch a movie tomorrow with my friends, hahaha.

…and in a few hours I’ll be meeting a friend with a cafe. Life is good. 😃

It seems like orders come in waves. I don’t know if it’s a mass consciousness thing or if people feel more secure ordering a gig if there’s already something in your que. For me it’s been if it rains it pours. I’ll have no orders for a couple days, then I’ll get one order, then the next day I’ll get 3-5, then it slows down again.



Right now I’m enjoying being slow because I’m moving and don’t have the time to be busy on Fiverr.



I’m sure the universe will look your way soon and you’ll be posting “OMG. I’m so busy. Can I get advice on how to finish these orders”!

Yup, orders do come in waves. Sometimes I get so much I feel worried about how the heck I can deliver all of them on time!



A few hours ago I got one order which was nice, I was at a cafe drinking coffee

and killing time. Since I was there with my laptop, I went ahead and worked on the gig. I had my coffee, my chocolate chip M&M cookie, and peacefully worked on my gig with no rush. Working on a gig nice and slowly every now and then is great. 🙂

I could sure use a couple days with no orders have a little vacation but I think those days are behind me:) enjoy it while it lasts
