Orders that never go live

I’ve discovered that I have a handful of orders under my “All Active” tab that have never been updated by buyers. They remain in limbo with the “seller needs more info” status. A couple of these orders are from April, which seems like a long time ago. I bet it seems silly of me to not have followed up with these buyers about their abandoned orders. I kind of doubt these buyers still need my services, but there’s no option to request cancellation for the abandoned orders. Had anyone else encountered this issue? What should I do? Should I update the order page with a message asking the buyer to activate the order for the sole purpose of cancellation?

I would type a message saying “Buyer did not provide information, buyer forfeited money to fiverr.” That gets quite a reaction and always gets them to respond with what they want!

I like alliemadison12 idea but as a 2nd resort. I would message the buyer and say hey, I still want to do this gig but I am waiting for your information. If you dont hear after that, then do what allie said…give them a shot at it first. I’ve had people reappear after a time and the gig got back on track…

Best solution would be to ignore them.



It brings you no harm by ignoring. It DOES bring you harm if you have too many cancellations.
