Period at end of sentence and "Title contains illegal characters"

It might be good to make specially clear that even a period at the end of the sentence is an “illegal character.” Some of us are used to type our sentences correctly.

I realized later that titles don’t need to have periods at the end.

The sentence you gave as an example has a period at the end. In most of the gigs I see, I never see a period at the end of the number 5…but as I said, I realized it’s not necessary in a title anyway.
