I also try to over-deliver, in part because I like what I do, but also because at the end of the day I like getting nice comments 🙂

Like many other have stated, this is what entice a buyer to come back!

By “over-deliver” I don’t mean working an extra hour on a gig: this could not work on the long term. Instead, I try to add a few little things that others don’t offer in my category (ebook conversion.)

While I fully agree…doing a great job, delivering on time or delivering within reason, delivering quality, referring to others if they need multiple people to finish a project, and just being friendly goes far. Just doing those things alone gets me tips and repeat clients all the time. I just recently got an $85 order from a regular client who first ordered a $5 order.
