i was wondering since i registred if ther s enough french talking peoples using feveer to get services, i am aware that the english community is bigger but still ther is a lot of french talking persons around the world that could be using this platform to get their things done , and i hope so because i am a specialist in this language otherwise i dont see why peoples like me gonna use it…

Just throw up some French gigs. Simple. Much more efficient than a post wondering if French people/Francophones might use this website. They do. If they don’t speak great English, they will love that you are hon hon honning, plus you’ll nail the keywords.

Pretty darn simple.

I didn’t say you shouldn’t have them in English, and as this is a public forum, I am allowed to share my opinions and thoughts, as you are allowed to snap my head off afterwards. Just have the same gigs in French…and in English!

What does my cleaver have to do with anything?

I have seen a lot of sellers who have duplicate gigs - one for English, one for French. You’ll get the French speakers that way.

OK, well @capitalquality has just said pretty much what I did, so feel free to carry on ranting about my cleaver. I hope your writing in French is better than your English, otherwise this question–which you seem to think I think is stupid, which means you’re projecting–is all for naught. Fiverr uses automatic translation for its thingies outside of the boilerplate, so relying on that instead of using your native-speaker status is quite frankly, a terrifying idea.

you re being rude for nothing and english is not my speciality if you think i dont write good enough dont read my post and dont comment in it i handle 3 languages and i bet you do handle english well until you became insulting and arrogant , the main question was not how i can attend more french audience , it was is ther e enough french community to build a french market i guess you think you r the center of the world and attack newbies all the time well i will do the same if i had your pic

Pot, kettle, black. Lovely job with the hair-splitting, too. Tell me something, why are you so mad at me? Write your gigs in French while keeping your existing English gigs, and the French community will come and you can hon hon hon together while leaving us rosbifs alone with our cleavers.

You could also offer Arabic services. So many options and you’re screeching at me about my rudeness. Dear me…

I’m British. It was a joke. If you were German, I would have said “us inselaffen(s)”. You have a remarkable capacity to take offense which will take you far. You speak three languages, which is in itself a valuable talent and skill.

I am very funny, thank you for your compliment! But do get rid of that chip on your shoulder, it doesn’t suit you.

I’m not offended in the slightest, just amused.

Although if you’re not good at any language as you just said, do you really think it is a good idea to be asking people to pay you for your writing? It’s also a little contradictory to your claim in the original post that you are a specialist in French.
