Orders Outside Seller\'s Expertise

My concern is about buyers who make orders about topics that are outside the skills of the seller even when the gig indicates the seller’s field of expertise and that the buyer should first discuss their needs with the seller before making the order. This forces us to request cancellation of these orders because we are not able to deliver a quality product for the buyer. My fear is that we might be penalized by Fiverr management for requesting many cancellations of such orders. I think Fiverr management should emphasize that the buyers communicate with the seller to be sure they are on the same wavelength with the seller.

You have identified a problem that has been discussed recently on the forum. Even mutual cancellations are looked at and gig ranking can be affected. Many buyers order and then stop all communication when they clearly did not read the gig description and are confused.
