jvillarte
Hello! Today I received an email from Fiverr about a dispute opened via PayPal for an order that I made 3 months ago.The order was an explainer video. When I received this email (and my balance has a chargeback of $224), I checked that the buyer has my video on his website: https:/*********Why is he asking PayPal to cancel the transaction if he is using my video? I have contacted Fiverr but I’m afraid they can’t do anything with that. Any of you have solved this problem?
harrisonjacobs
Hello, you can try and get evidence, screen shot the video on its website and all you transactions and send it to paypal for evidence and you can only contact fiverr support with all the evidence and transactions you have with the person, this is just an advise, please if it does not work out, you can try another way
solow13
He is not smart at all, you can also see that he is using a fiverr seller for a video review too, so he might be around here.Take screenshots of your inbox and also from his website as evidence and report to customer support here on fiverr and also for paypal. misscrystal
There is nothing you can do. You could talk to Paypal customer support but still, the money is gone. I could not get the video to play anyway so the jokes on him also.
emmaki
Oh, that’s nice. I did some work for him as well. I haven’t had a PP dispute though. Bad luck there old sport, I did find his modus operandi very suspicious, not to mention his business model seemed to be a bit dodgy (is that test bank thing really a thing?).He was a dribbling moron as I remember. I can say this, as he’s no longer with us. His brief was “write my website”–and indeed, most of what you can see on that website was crafted by my fair hand, not that I’m going to pretend it’s any good. He also ordered 10 premium images (who does that???), then after delivery said “I’m sorry! I forgot to tell you that they all had to be white background only!”Yeah well, not my fault you flubbed the brief. Anyway, I got to Customer Support, they shrugged, I sent him a bunch of CC photos and got a 5-star review, the end. Well, unless he’s also starting a PP dispute with me, in which case… hurrah. My first PP dispute too.Oh well. F*ck him.
ctec25
I think you should contact PayPal first with all the evidence you have. Then after getting a positive response from them, you can contact fiverr support. Your money may be refunded.

shahidseddiqui
Please share the way how you got your payment back. This happened to me some time back as well. A buyer orders, gets her work done and then she files a dispute on PP asking for a refund.
leahemme
Hey-- did they actually get you the money back? Or just offered a good explanation? I’m in a similar situation, got the evil ‘paypal dispute’ email this morning, and sure enough I now have a negative balance. Is it worth my time to gather all my evidence and make a plea to customer support? Did they refund you?I was so bummed out and can’t believe an order I successfully fulfilled months ago (and a satisfied client too!) has come back to rob me. laatsaheb
@jvillarte same problem with me. I contact customer support and the feedback…Hello there,Thank you for contacting us today.I do apologize for the inconvenience this may be causing you. I reviewed the order, and I see that there was a chargeback filed for the payment of this order outside of Fiverr. The funds are now being held by the payment vendor, and are not in our hands. Please note that whenever a transaction is being reviewed by a payment vendor, we may be required to cancel a transaction or put it on hold (for example - stolen credit card or other fraud activities). This is part of the service we provide to maintain a safe environment for our users.Keep in mind that when you don’t get paid, neither does Fiverr, and we have no access to the funds. Be aware that we want every Gig order to be successful. If a buyer abused his payment privileges, it is something literally beyond our control, but our Trust & Safety Team is already reviewing this buyer’s actions.Buyers who do file disputes on their payments made to Fiverr, whether intentional or purposely held by payment vendor for security screening, must resolve those disputes in order to participate again in the Fiverr community, as they are in clear violation of our Terms of Service.Thank you for understanding.Kind regards.any suggestion need help, please 😦
