tomdee27
A seller was late on completing an order. When I wrote him asking him for status, he wrote me back to please cancel. 1 minute later he marked the order complete. What can I do at this point to get the order cancelled and to get a refund since no work was performed? Any suggestions?
cyaxrex
A seller can’t mark an order as complete. I a seller doesn’t deliver anything, an order will cancel automatically after three days. The only way an order can be marked as complete is if it is delivered an marked by a buyer as complete, or if it is delivered and a period of 3 days passes. In the latter case, an order will mark itself as complete after those three days. The above being the case, you should look back over your order, take screenshots in necessary to prove that you haven’t been delivered anything and contact CS with all the details you have. If you haven’t received a delivery, they should be able to cancel the order and refund your funds accordingly.Hope this helps.
vigasan
I think you have that mixed up. A seller is the one who is selling his service and a seller is the one who marks an order as complete.
vigasan
Click on REQUEST MODIFICATION, then click on CANCEL order at the very bottom. If it has been more than 3 days since they submitted, contact CUSTOMER SUPPORT
marjinmontoya
Hi Everyone, I have the same situation going on. The seller is telling me the order has been marked as completed. How can this be? Maybe because it was more than three days and he/she didn’t deliver any work in those three day? I waited for my request to be delivered and I thought maybe he/she needed time to come up with something phenomenal or could it be that he/she just wanted time to pass by to get the order marked as completed -and bye, bye to my $10? I’m trying to contact customer service to get a refund but I don’t see an option to do so. Would any one provide me with some tips to get my refund? I tried vigasan (above) suggestion, but I don’t see an option to request modification. Thanks in advance.
justmarketing00
Got to the Resolution Center on the Order Page and Cancel the order from there. If your Seller refuses then you should submit your Ticket to Customer Support and they will cancel the order and the funds will be refunded to your fiverr balance. Hope that helps 🙂Note : Send your ticket with proof’s and screenshots and be patient with them because they have a long list of tickets.
