Why don't my Gigs don't appear in keyword searches?

I used used many tags for all my Gigs and all are showing as active but there is very minimal traffic, perhaps only from my friends that I have emailed or where I shared the Gig.

Why don’t my Gigs appear in any keyword searches? Even when I click on New Seller I don’t see the relative Gig.

Please help I’m new and it’s been 5 days & still no sale & very little traffic. Thanks in advance for any answers!

Please be patient. You’re not going to be able to build a successful business in only five days. It takes time to appear in search results (and there is no guarantee that you will), and it takes strong, determined work to build a marketing network that brings in steady traffic.

Thank you for your response. I do understand it takes time and patience to get traffic and sales as it does depend on promoting your Gigs and reviews and so forth.

My actual question is why do none of my Gigs appear even at the very bottom as a Newbie, how will anyone even come across my Gig if mine never appears in any keyword searches? I don’t mean at on the first page or at the top of the page, obviously not. I hope that clarifies my question a bit 🙂

I’m not sure I understand correctly, a person’s Gig may never appear in keyword searches? Then how do you get sales? Promoting over and over again on social sites is not optimal especially if you don’t know that many people. So, unless I have tons of friends and followers on social media I might as forget about making any sales?

Like I said, build a network — a marketing and promotional network — that directs people to your gig. Don’t expect the Fiverr search system to make you successful. YOU need to take responsibility for your own success. There is no guarantee that your gigs will be found in the Fiverr search results.

There are hundreds of thousands of gigs on Fiverr — only the successful ones from sellers that treat their gigs like a business will rise to the top and be seen regularly. New sellers may be found, for a short while, in the “new gigs” pages on Fiverr, but they will drop to the bottom of those pages rather quickly as new gigs are added. Not everyone can have every gig seen on Fiverr.

Work hard to earn your visibility. And that means working to promote your gigs elsewhere online. Don’t just post a link on facebook, and expect to be done promoting. If you want to be successful, you need to work tirelessly. Success (any success, in any business) does not come easy.

Jon has given you the best answers to your question. The only things I can add would be to wait longer before you even expect the gig to show up in search. If it doesn’t after a couple of weeks, there’s nothing wrong with sending a single polite ticket to Customer Support to ask them about it. If there is a specific problem, they may share with you what the issue is.

Search is not guaranteed, though, as Jon said. Fiverr is still very workable with effort, but it’s not as easy as it used to be due to very stiff competition. You may have to get pretty creative to find ways to market until you are established. Do some google research on marketing or buy a gig to consult with a marketing expert who has a really solid history on Fiverr. Good luck!

Before you go further in Fiverr, you need to be patient.

What is patient mean ?

Being patient is not about waiting a miracle come to you, it’s all about attracting miracle come to you.

Please ask your self about your gigs.

  1. How many times in a week do you update your gig ?
  2. Does your gig worthy to sell ?
  3. Have you written a good and easy to understand description ?

If you have done all of the things above, then you need do it regularly. Don’t forget to analyze the gig’s analytic. If it shows bad convertion, it means you need change or make another awesome gig.

That’s all.

Hope this help you much more. 🙂
