Why is there a delay between when buyers order and when they put requirements?

For a couple of months at least it takes 5 to 15 minutes when most buyers order and when they put the requirements on the order. I just ask for their first name.

Mine vary but it’s always been that way for me. It always seems to take 3-5 minutes and I don’t know why on orders where all I need is a sentence or less. Past that when I’ve sent a nudge to the buyer, so far it’s always been something that was their fault. (It might not be in your case.) My buyers sometimes say they are new and didn’t understand, they wanted to think about something and then forgot, or they got interrupted and didn’t come back for a while.

Sometimes it takes an hour or more. I wonder if many of them can’t read English well.
It doesn’t seem so since they totally ignore what I put in my gig description.
