jey242
IMO it comes off as desperate and amateurish.
wpcorley02
I agree it’s really annoying when I’m trying to find people to give custom offers and I see people advertising themselves
matden
Same, my feelings exactly. Fiverr should take some action against them

aamna123
Exactly, people are promoting themselves in the way they are offering jobs. it should be avoided…
dijatul
This is very bad idea. I am tire of this. Everyday, finding new job post… It takes time.

nzrajput
I do not know how many of you will agree with me but I believe the reason for this is that most of the Sellers are unaware of how Fiverr actually works. They have no idea of how to how to send offers or how to promote their services (i.e. posting Gigs)
cynthiaailese
Thank you! I completely agree, as it clogs up the Buyer’s Request Page. For the sellers who do this, please remember it also makes you look bad, as it conveys that you are desperate and cannot read. I’m sorry if that sounds harsh, but it is the truth…
dijatul
“I am looking for someone to buy my gig and to post a positive review and i will do the same in return !”“I will services my logo design”“I will give you 10000 fb Page likes”“I will manage your social media account for your business”“I will give you SEO , google page rank 1″“I have theme, I will sell it”ETC and ETC. All job post is coming from seller . I am just tired of this . Its really difficult to find who is real seller and buyer .
couturewriter
It’s almost impossible to find work on the Buyer Request page due to the sheer amount of people begging for work. Does that actually work? I think not.
couturewriter
I’d definitely say that I wouldn’t hire 90% of the people who spam like that.
jey242
I definitely wouldn’t order a gig from a seller that promotes themselves in that manner.
eloquensia
I really do not agree with the views you all are having as towards searching for jobs through buyer request page… . Now it gets bad only when individuals go there and pose as buyers whereas they are sellers and are trying to promote themselves, this is very bad and has a negative effect on the seller in the long run, but for those who go there and answer to requests by buyers, I see nothing wrong with that. That was the sole reason for creating the buyer request page. Also I would like to know in as much as am a new seller on fiverr, how would I possibly promote my gig here on the fiverr forum…
dijatul
I am million times agree with you . Its never worked. But its really waste of time to get a new job because of this type of bull,sh…t
nzrajput
I guess you misunderstood. The OP has same view as yours - “Now it gets bad only when individuals go there and pose as buyers whereas they are sellers and are trying to promote themselves, this is very bad and has a negative effect on the seller in the long run”And yes, you are correct. Buyer Requests page is there so that We - the Sellers - can send offers to their requests. However, this post was regarding the sellers who are posting in “Buyer Requests”Moreover, I have a different view point on this. I believe the reason for Sellers posting in Buyers Requests is that most of the Sellers are unaware of how Fiverr actually works. They have no idea of how to send offers or how to promote their services (i.e. by posting Gigs)
fastcopywriter
That’s annoying, so is this: “Due to technical issues, the History Search is temporarily disabled. We expect to have this feature working again soon.”Really? It’s been weeks already. I NEED History Search, I don’t have the time and patience to read every request. babibalubi
Strange. Mine is working again since one week I guess. Sometimes I have to use “enter” instead of clicking with the mouse on the search symbol, but it works now.
thevideostore
I’m getting pretty sick of the retards trying to hit me up in the inbox to sell me something. They need to go choke on some oxygen or something , its so annoying.
itsysko
All I know is that Fiverr is doing something about it, but I still see people promoting their services in the most laughable way, through buyer requests.I don’t think it’s something that can be stopped entirely but I still completely agree with you. fastcopywriter
Mine gets that when I scroll the mouse to that area. What browser are you using? I use Chrome, I think Fiverr works better on Chrome than Firefox.
dijatul
Chrome is the best
