Response rate falling DOWN

For a couple of weeks I didn’t have much going on on Fiver, so I didn’t receive any messages and new gigs. For some reason my response rate dropped from 98% to 50% in a week or two without even receiving a message.
What is wrong with the algorhithm? It is quite bothering that something like this happens in a website like Fiverr…
Is there a way to fix this?
